In Gujarat, a well-known temple is on a mountain peak called Chotila. Chamunda Mata, also known as Rann-chandi, is a form of Durga and the goddess of force.
It was a fun ride for us from Gandhinagar to Chotila. Took us approx 4 hours. There are approx 600 stairs to coin to top. Closes at around 8: 30pm. Arti at 7pm

One of the best temple to visit in Gujarat The temple is at 1173 feet in height around 620 steps you have to climb to take darshan but those who are not able to climb 620 steps they may take darshan at 'Madh'. The temple is open for devotees from 5 am to 7.30 pm.

It's on a mountain so you have to climb to reach there and it's worth it. There are good facilities available like drinking water. There is also a temple down, for those who can't climb the mountain, with the same murti.

Very nice and holy place of maa chamunda. Temple is situated on mountain. Mountain is not too much tall average 1000 steps takes to you reach maa chamunda.
The stairs are now all covered with shed. It was easier to climb now, than ot ever was. Even the temple is peaceful and nice, even on a crowded day.
The management is good.
Worth visiting.
Also, of you have some senior citizen with you who cannot climb, they can sit qt the bottom where they have made another temple for the same. Washroom and drinking water taps also there.
Talking it slow, finished the climb in 40 minutes and while coming down, it only take 10-15 minutes.
Approx 1000 steps for one way. At least that is what i heard. I think there are more.
We have to climb around 800 stairs to visit the temple but one thing is very nice that at some distance there is water tap available. So u don't have to carry water bottles.
You have to take a small Hike to rech to the temple, located in chotila, gujarat.mostly very crowded as it has mythological and spiritual importance for Hindu's, if you want to experience the VIBE of this plcace you must visit during NAVRATI festival.the aura of this plcae is diffrent during those time. NAVRATRI last for 9 days its a festival specifically for Hindu Godesses.
A wonderful pious temple of maata chamunda, who's one of the 64 incarnation of maata shakti. The temple is at the hilltop, has 635 steps which are little bit steep and very well shaded.
Staying overnight at the hilltop is prohibited, a lot of hotels available in the city.

This place is so beautiful. In monsoon this place gate so beautiful view. One temple is also at top of mountain you can visit it.daily so mny people came here and take prayer.so you if you visit rajkot than you have to visit this place.all the stress is removed is you are stayed this place for some time.
With almost 600 stairs uphill, temple is situated on the peak of mountain. After reaching the temple you will see main temple in the centre and the offerings, which you have brought with you, are done in backside of temple.

You can find some devotees doing Swastik on the steps on the way. Accommodation facilities are there by temple trust and many hotels are there.
