The Dutch version of the French formal garden, this space would be laid out in a highly cultivated and geometrical, often symmetrical, fashion, shaped by plantings of highly coloured flowers, originally very well-spaced by modern standards, and edged with box or other dense and clipped shrubs, or low walls

Lately after the covid situation the condition of park is much better than it was earlier. Though we have to take care of ourselves at public places.

A Very Good Place To Hangout With friends and Loved Once specially In Morning and if It's Monsoon Morning Then You'll Definitely Don't Want To The Place, You'll Get Snacks Store near This Garden But There is Problem For Parking So Park Your Vehicle At Your Own risk.

Very nice garden. It is parallel to river tapi. Very nice view from here. Many children activity is there in the garden as well as out side of garden.

The Dutch garden in Surat is essentially cemeteries of the officers who landed and settled in Gujarat on their business ventures. Dutch garden is one of the most significant gardens in Surat. The striking features of the English and Dutch cemeteries are their huge and imposing tombs.

It is awesome garden at tapi River bank. Made to welcome dutch king in 17 th century and after that it was redeveloped by SMC.

Very nice place to go! But not with family, because whenever I used to go there were a lot of couples.which felt a bit embarrasing even with friends. Apart from this, the garden is very clean and near the river best place to visit while monsoon with a cup of your favourite coffee and packed Surti Locho.

Garden is ok however the smell from the public toilets in the garden area is disgusting, also lots of rubbish thrown around

Nice garden near tapti River in surat city. This area gives you a good view of the river. There are some children's activities and rides available. Some street food is available as well. Overall a decent place to visit if you are living in the neighborhood areas. Nothing special for outsiders to come and visit.

This is my favorite place. But only during the night. I love to sit there and when my mood is low. The river view, The bridge lights and everything about this place is just awesome for me. I get away from my job and go straight there as it's on the way and then come home. I feel relaxed when I sit there alone.

Nice place to go for a walk, exercise. There's senior citizens seating area. A variant of bamboo has been planted in the garden. The most fascinating view is of Tapi river with seagulls kissing it's layers.

A river front, Dutch garden offers awesome Tapi river views, the place is very calm and quite, wonderful place to relax with family and friends.

It's a place with the full view of the water bank, alot of greenery and many quiet sitting places. Plus there is a children's play area so you can visit with full family and there is even a separate sitting section for the elderly.
Overall the place is quite nice and peaceful for servicing spending some time in the evening.

Not big! But still its packed with a jogging track & few swings for kids & view of Tapi river is really amazing from the garden, specially in rainy season when the water level is at it's peak!

The new name of this garden is Dayalji Garden. Its location is in Nanpura area of Surat. From this garden, you can have a lovely view of the tapi river over which the traffic free Makkai bridge is constructed. You can also enjoy the view of various birds flying across the river. Fitness enthusiasts can also try their hand at the equipment in the garden. Its a calm and serene place for walkers and joggers and anybody who wants some peace and quiet in this fast city. By the way, it is open till late night.

Oldest and historic garden of Surat built during 18th century. It is built on a wall of fort and gives you a historic feel. It is usual place for hangout in Nanpura but actually it is an historic place. Not too big but a small area that has some sitting arrangements and usually filled with couples or group of friends. Not recommended for families/kids as it is usually crowded with bachelors. It is in the center of old city called 'Nanpura' near the court. So if you've come to court and need to spend some free time you can visit this place. It gives a good river view of the 'Tapi River'.

The location is really good from where you can experience Tapi river along with sunset. We can see the whole width of the river with a silhouette of another side of the city.

Its gud for photography but it is surrounded by public houses n all we cant feel historical over there.
