The Girnar Ropeway is amazing, the journey through the natural beauty is very pleasant and captivating. Everyone should at least once experience and see the feet of Shri Gurudatta and make their life worthwhile

Worth every penny spent on a ticket. Online booking is recommended.
If no rush, you can come early before your slot. Call the number provided on the ticket for confirmation.

Real engineering marvel. Jaws dropping view from the ropeway. Amazing experience. Reasonable charges and nice facility for children and old age persons as well.

The service and all good but prices little high compared to time and as it does not take us to top at datatrey which is main. Eight persons in one cabin.

I had to stand in queue while also pushing each other in an unorganised manner for almost 3 hours for a 5 min ride. Never go on weekends or holidays. But, Ropeway facility is really good.

It takes 7 min only. Ask for Glass floor khatola if available during boarding. (no extra cost)
For jain derasar you need to go down 1000 steps. And it's worth. And while coming back again climb those 1000 steps which is very tired and time taking. But Doli is available and rates depend on rush and weekends. To and fro charge are approx 2000 to 3000. But I suggest climbing if you are Jain.

Very fast and engineering marvel. Must visit for temple darshan. Do come for sure. All family plan can be made

1. ટીકીટ ઓનલાઈન કરાવશો તો ટીકીટ ની લાઇન માં ઉભું રહેવું પડશે નહિ.
2. એક મોટા હોલ માં લાઈન માં રાહ જોવાની હોય છે. ગિરદી પ્રમાણે વધારે લાઈન હશે પણ રોપવે માં બેસતા પહેલા કેન્ટીન આવે છે.
3. રાહ જોવાની લાઈન માં બેસવા ની; બાળક ને સાચવવા ની અને ટોયલેટ ની વ્યવસ્થા છે.
4. પાછા વળતી વખતે 2 માળ ની લાઈન હોય છે પછી બેસવાનું હોય છે.
5. વ્યસન ની કોઈ વસ્તુ સાથે રાખવાની નથી પણ અંબાજી માં બધું મળે છે.

Should visit once, safe & enjoyable ride, cooperative staff, but top station is not having facilities for people waiting in queue as they have to stand in sun, no sitting arrangements for senior citizens, kids etc,
Base station is having great waiting room, & food court serves everything at MRP

ખૂબ જ અધતન અને સગવડતા સભર પ્રવાસન અનુભવ. વિજ્ઞાન અને ધર્મ નો અદભુત સંગમ એટલે ગિરનાર રોપ વે. ખૂબ સુંદર બોર્ડિંગ સ્ટેશન અને કફેટરિયા ધરાવતો વિશાળ હોલ. બેસવા માટે ની પણ સગવડ and centralised air conditioning. ખૂબ સુંદર સ્ટાફ અને સહાયકો.

You can have one of best experience here, the scenery from it is mesmerizing.
It takes around 5-8 minutes for one way and you can also buy tickets online.
Also, they provide facility for only one way in half price.
They have canteen and the whole place is neat and clean.

A good experience. There is long wait you have go through to get to sit in it. You can buy the tickets online too. Ropeway way closes at 5pm. Best way to avoid traffic is to arrive early during day

Pro Tip -
1. The official timings are 8 AM to 5.30 PM but to avoid rush they start by 7 AM.
2. Sometimes in windy atmosphere they stop the operations for technical reasons until wind speed reduce to normal.
3. Book tickets online to avoid hours long queue.
4. Carry your own watter bottle (not the plastic ones they don't allow you to carry plastic bottle in ropeway)
5. There's no washroom facilities up there. It's better to freshen up below at ropeway facility.
6. Wear (or atleast carry) full sleeve clothes there's lots of wild honey bees in temple surroundings.

Experience was good overall, the fares are very high though.when it comes to COVID-19 guidelines followed properly and strictly at lower station but when you return the security staff be like "covid left last year from here" these are words of a security person there! And it is unexpected when you're paying enough big amount

બને ત્યાં સુધી ટિકિટ એક દિવસ અગાઉ ઓનલાઇન બુકિંગ કરાવી લેવી અહીંયા ટિકિટ લેવામાં બહુ લાંબી લાઈનો હોય છે તથા તેમાં બેસવા ના વારા માં પણ લાંબી લાઈનો હોય છે અંદાજે બેથી ત્રણ કલાક નો સમય રોપવે સુધી પહોંચવામાં નીકળી જાય છે સામાન અંદર લઈ જવા દેવામાં આવતો નથી પાણીની બોટલો વગેરે અંદર લઈ જવામાં દેવામાં આવતી નથી તથા લોકરની સુવિધા પણ ઉપલબ્ધ નથી ટિકિટનો દર 700 રૂપિયા છે.

It will be always a good experience if you are going for first time. There is wrong information that outside food and water bottle is not allowed. Everything is allowed to caary but not trolly bags or big bags, but backpacs are allowed. Book online ang go that would be easy for you.overall good experince.
