You 'll love all the items like roti, bhakhri, sabzi, farsan, buttermilk, dessert

It's taste is mouth watering.

Except sweet items and some extend FARSAN items rest all are very poor quality. All vegetables 4 to 5 are found below average and no taste at all. Only name shake vegetables no of its are being served which are meaningless. Dal alty was poor. How to eat and enjoy the food. Customers are coming with GREAT expectations and enjoy the food but after all after taking food going back in disappointment mood.

Being a malayali brought up in gujarat I consider my self as a half gujarati and savouring into gujarati thali is my first choice always.
This time I decided to please myself by going to Gordhan Thal. It is just amazing the taste the hygiene the atmosphere the varieties everything was mouthwatering and just perfect.
They also brought a special utensil (lota types) to wash hands on our table.
The plates glasses’s everything was authentic and reminded us of our roots!
Apart from this there is a issue for parking if you are bringing four wheeler otherwise it is good.
Must visit place if you are new to Ahmedabad!

The food is awesme the iconic thali and awesme taste never forgettable experience and the cost is ver very resonable.

One of the best places to have Gujarati Thali. Always expect rush on weekends. But the food is worth the wait. Service is good. And the best part is the staff always interacts with the customers. Parking is a little problem as located on service road.

Quality of all 3 Vegetables (i did not take Paneer) was poor, looked like of Relief camp.
Waiters do not have proper etiquettes to serve-they spill the food in a hurry-always

The Gordhan Thal is located near pakwan cross road. This restaurant provides Pure Authentic Gujarati Thali. Very Spacious and nice sitting arrangements. Here, they provide 4 Sabji which includes Paneer, Green Veg, Pluses nd one more. Provides 3 Kinds of Namkeen, 2 Types of Sweets, Dal Chawal, Buttermilk, Papad, Salads, Chutney etc nd many more. The taste is amazing. One of the best place for Delicious Gujarati Thali. Staff also very Nice and Services provides very good. The rate is ₹350 ehich could vary in future. Must visit place.

I like the way, they SERVE. Total 'moghera Mehman' feeling (It feels like you are special guest).
Food is amazing.
Menu is fixed type 'UNLiMited' and have 4 kind of sabji, 1 liquid sweet 1 solid sweet, some starters, Chapati or puri or bhakhri, Dal-rice or kadhi-khichdi. Sabji and sweet will change in a rotation I think. But I love basundi.

Delicious food, great service, huge variety. Parking may take 5-10 minutes, so bear that in mind. Also, big groups might have to wait to get a joint table, so patience is required some times. But it's worth the wait

Super crowded on weekends. Too many tables at no so huge place. A definite place to visit for vegetarians with a sweet tooth.

Never visit on Sundays and not for dinner just like any ordinary Gujarati thali.no masala khichdi, ordinary menu.no charm in food left.

There is too many items for eating but specially for taste, its too tasty! There is little expensive for gujarati thali but there is Dalbati, its too much bettre than another items!

Totally over rated, taste less and below average food. Try visiting atithi or pakwaan, these are nearby gujarati thali restaurants but far better than gowardhan thaal.

Just good for Gujarati Thal but not like their name. Indeed the thal is too heavy as compared to food quality. Service and hospitality is really good. One should visit at least once.

A very well known place in Ahmedabad for fine dining and authentic Gujarati cuisine. The Gujarati thaali was delicious and the range of delicacies were abundant.

Never visited this type of restaurant before, I loved the ambiance, their service, waiters friendly behaviour and everything which was there. Really really well maintained restaurant. Give it a try if you are craving for gujarati food (gujarati thali). And last of all the food was amazing, I'm not a fan of gujarati food but now I'm thinking of revisit the restaurant.

Parking at the venue is HUGE challenge - 2 Wheeler as well as 4 Wheeler.
- Long waiting queue, no option to maintain social distancing

One of the best place to taste the authentic Gujarati food. Situated in the middle of ahmedabad city, it is a placr with attractive interiors and a well behaved staff. They focus on quality of food is unmatchable. A must visit for all the gujju food lovers and all your non gujju guests deserve a visit here once.

We had a great experience at Gordhan Thal. The food was awesome and the hospitality we received was just awesome! It feels like we were vouching on a marriage lunch where the host comes and asks for anything to refill on the plates. This behavior is quite unusual to restaurants which serves unlimited food. Very important to mention is we got all this just paying Rs 325 per plate. I mean, which the ambience, the food and the hospitality the price per plate is just too affordable. I recommended every one who visits Ahmedabad to be there a Gordhan Thal at least once to enjoy the local delicacies and the hospitality. Thank you Gordhan Thal for an auspicious lunch.

Authentic Gujarati Food including farsan, chaat, roti/puri, punjabi and gujarati vegetable. They also serve aam rus (maybe seasonal). Spacious arrangements and co operative staff.

Food quality was awesome but 325 per price is gonna hit different, Because same food you can get at any other place like TGT and all, so at the end of the day, Price and quality matter, so Quality 4/5 and Price 3/5

Was brought here by a local friend with no idea of what I was walking in to. I'm glad I skipped breakfast that day as the food was just too good and never ending. Every dish they serve is tasty, but make sure you come here hungry.

Delicious food with separate arrangement for Jain food (without onion and garlic). One should go empty stomach for enjoying the full Gordhan Thaal.
