Govinda's Restaurant

Recently I decided to catch up with a school friend of mine with whom I had spent my early years. We went to Govinda gujrati thali restraunt and it was a supremely great experience.

I order Ishkon Temple's Gujarati Thali is a divine culinary experience. Every bite is infused with the pure love and devotion that goes into its preparation. Cooked in pure ghee, the flavors are nothing short of fabulous. Each dish in the thali is a testament to the rich heritage and culinary artistry of Gujarat.

Divine food and warm hospitality by serving staff will visit often now whenever me and my family wants clean pious ambience. We loved the place. The thali costs inr 300 which is unlimited. Thanks to the team of Govinda's.

The food was on point. For someone from UK I was not expecting the wuality to be exceptional. I am simply amazed. Would come back again when in Vadodara. Sidharth was phenomenal with his explanation of the quality and freshness.

Shudh Vaishnav (swatvik) Khaana n hygienic place where one can treat their friends n their families. I loved this place and the hospitality extended.

A housefly in my dal. We were eight people at dinner on 27 th August 2019. They had already collected money, a refund was not asked for and the management did not even think a refund or even an apology is in order. DISGUSTING. NEVER AGAIN DINNER AT GOVINDA'S.

I am a gujju. I know my food, however everything they served was sweet. Too sweet.

Good and clean food. They don't use any garlic or onions while preparing their dishes. Still the food tastes good.

It is a place serving tradisional indian food along with Sweet. In religious atmosphere. You feel spiritual goodness while dining here.

Such a calm and composed environment! You can sit here, relax and have some desi delicious home-cooked food. The use of spices are much low as compared to other restaurants.

Best Qualities Gujarati Food available. Great place in Iskon Temple for dinner. Traditional Decoration with awesome sitting arrangements. Great place for dinner with friends and family.

Food here is a Prasadam, it is commercially charged as any restaurant, but served with devotion and care. Pure vegetarian food, without onion and garlic, is made in pure Desi Ghee, suitable for Vaishnavs and many other Hindu religious people. Food is tasteful, though devoid of garlic - onion. There is a good take away service, - parcel as it is called, which costs almost half amount per dish, for a limited prescribed quantity, more than sufficient for one average person. Ambience of the dining hall is luxurious and wash room cleanliness is also good. Staff is very courteous and food is served with smile.

One of the othentic and pure food you wil get on your table here.peaceful atmosphere with variety of food is available made is shuddh desi ghree.they do serve hot and fresh food. 100 out of 100 for this restorant.

The restaurant does not serve limited thali in the premises, it is available only as takeaway.
I am very much disappointed to buy takeaway meal aka parcel at a price of Rs 130/-. It is not worth more than Rs. 100/-. No salad, no spoon, no paper napkin, no mukhwas is given with this limited thali. One piece of chapati was hard. Not a good experience.
The interior of the restaurant is good. Unlimited thali is served at Rs. 270/-.

I should place this GOVINDA's restaurant at 1st place in the city because of it's devinal atmosphere and great ambient. Instead of saying tasty food, i would prefer to say it's GOVINDA's PRASAAD of Hare Krishna Mission. Those who are blaming to price of this dish, should know that This Trust offering different food as Prasad on particular day weekly, free of cost.
No doubt some good quality of services need money. Major part of it comes from dedicated devotees. Little part of such money comes from us in this way. We should thank them for letting us as s part of this.
I will suggest every one to visit such places instead of any professional restaurants.
