Harshad Mataji Temple

It's a Mataji temple very famous amongst the locals. The original temple on the hill top is under construction and closed, there is a small make shift temple for prayers and Puja. Peaceful serene atmosphere.

Also from this harsidhhi mata temple through some far distance this Mahadev temple is situated whenever go to harsidhhi mata temple also went there it's just 1 or 2 km far from mata's temple

Awesome place located near sea and between PORBANDAR and DWARKA. Once everyone should visit there.main temple is located at bottom but don't go to top side because it's was closed now
Overall tremendous.

Good place but not proper facilities for visitors. Like shoes stand no shades for sun protection etc.

When i went there, temple was close because of renovation work.
Good thing about this place is, it is located at very good seashore and there were very less people when i went there.

Jai Mata Di. Temple at Mountain is closed since last 2 years for renovation of route and temple. So can not go there for now.

में ओर मेरे दोस्त द्वारका बाइक ट्रिप पर जा रहे थे तब हम ने हरसिद्ध माताजी के दर्शन का लाभ लिया जहाँपर शाम को 45मिनिट की आरती की गई थी जो पूरी तरह से हाथ से इस्तमाल होने वाले instrument का इस्तमाल किया गया था। सो बहुत ही मजा आया।

उसके बाद हम चार दोस्तो ने वहाँ धर्म शाला ने 100रुपये पे करके रात गुजारी।

A very small temple perhaps a village temple promoted as an strategy by village and taxi operators. Perhaps the main temple on the hill is closed perhaps due to lack of space at the top and safety. The temple has mythological stories associated poorly explained not inline with the Hindu Sanskriti where mother Goddess is all embodiment of great values.

The temple and village people want people to come to donate and spend but nobody looks for public toilets. I am surprised if in present time BJP and Modi brought so much awareness for cleanliness and Toilets but it has become now only slogan. How long the present government will test people's Patience. In India most difficult thing is still the availability of toilets and clean Toilets

મંદિર તેમજ ત્યાંનો દરિયો ખૂબ સુંદર અને રામણીય છે તેમજ મંદિર ઉપર થી ખુબજ સુંદર નજારો જોવા મળે છે.

माता जी की सुबह की पूजा गुजरात में और रात की पूजा उज्जैन में होती है।
माता का मूल मंदिर हर्षद - गुजरात हैं।

Nice place to visit. The temple worship with the statue of harshad mataji. This very oldest temple. Nice place to visit with child and family. This temple situated 50 km from Porbandar. The local transportation frequency available upto evening for porbandar. There are various food courts are available near to the temple.

The Chand Baori is not the only attraction in Abhaneri.

Adjoining the baori is the architecturally splendid and sculpturally beautiful Harshat Mata temple which was built between the 7th-8th centuries, but was destroyed and damaged by Mahmud Ghazni.

Many of its pillars, columns, statues now lie scattered in the temple courtyard and in the corridors of the structure. The temple was dedicated to Harshat Mata, believed to be the goddess of happiness and joy, who spread her glow and brightness (abha) around the town.

That is why the small village was called the Abhanagri (city of brightness), which over the centuries has become Abhaneri.

The scene from the temple courtyard is picturesque with green fields, narrow village roads, tiny houses and the sun playing hide and seek on the landscape.

Historical temple, and it's far away from bhnvad city and it's probably near of ghumli village and its above 700 year old and it's look like small hill station and there are lots of temple and it's small picnic spot

U may find a lot of public on weekends n management in not that good. Overall it is a very good n holy place with a very clean n beautiful blue beach near it! The temple is so pious n it is said that Ma herself comes there n people have witnessed the Ghant ringing by it's own during the aarti. Great experience!

It nice place. The temple is top of hill. Any views are so beautiful, the see I love this place.

Histrical temple
Harshad Mata temple can be reached easily from either Porbandar or Dwarka. It is located almost in the middle of these two cities of Gujarat. It is very well connected by road from all the major cities of Gujarat State. There are also regular daily trains from Mumbai for Porbandar that leaves Ahmedabad at around 7 pm in the evening and reaches Porbandar by around 7 am in the next morning. However, we visited this holy temple in a hired car from city of Vadodara, which happens to be my native place
