Jassi de Parathe offers a taste of delicious parathas, but the pricing seemed on the higher side. The variety of parathas came with varying prices, often leaning towards the expensive side. This might not suit those looking for budget-friendly options.
Additionally, the service was notably slow, making the overall experience a bit less satisfying. For a quick and efficient dining experience, the pace of service needs improvement.
I am a regular visitor of jassi de parathe from 2005 and jassi's food is fantastic but this is the first time I feel that the taste and quality is not that of jassi type.
Always visited since child same taste feel food hygene i tried aloo pyaas and starters not about everything on menu but this paratha is always the same
Very nice decoration. Sitting arrangements are so beautiful. Feel like home. They have different types of parathas and many choices of food. Feel like mini Punjab. Loved the taste and the vibes.
One of the best parathe in town. Everything is awesome. The interiors gives you feeling like you are in punjab. Both chair-table and indian seating available here. Parathas are awesome. Dum biryani was fabulous. I just took smell of dum biryani for 2 minutes. Patyala lassi is a must try. Patyala lassi is like big glass like in punjab. Bigger than venti in starbucks. All utensils are of brass. They recreate a punjab livelihood there. Its sure to visit place.
One of the best place for punjabi food lovers. I just love everything about this place. Food, ambience, vibes, etc etc. I have tried rabdi malai first time it was just yum the way I like it. U should definitely try rabdi malai.cheers Jassi De Parathe
You guys, the food is sooo good. No extra layer of oil and the taste is so authentic. I ordered palak paneer and dal makhani with couple of stuff parathas. Now its going to be my top favourites for sure. Good food makes good weekend.
Best punjabi food, parothe are the best with dahi and they don't have sirke wali pyaaz and have a limited menu but initially pre covid there quality was far better than what they do now.
We had Aloo Pyaaz Da Paratha, pyaz da paratha, corn paratha, Sabji Biryani. Both tasted awesome. The Kulcha combo with Dal Makhni, Chole Sabji, Boondi Raita was great. Dahi with Biryani was awesome and. Ambience, Seating and Service was awesome too. Surely will visit again.
We 8 had gone for lunch post science city and were quite hungry. We ordered variety of parathas and kulcha. Flavorful food and sufficient. Tried chocolate lassi too. Must visit.
All of the parathas available here are really tasty. But some that I really liked are chilly cheese, allu pyaaz pudina, paneer and cheese paratha. Their service is also fast.
I love to go Jassi whenever I want to eat Punjabi Food. But, from the last 2-3 years quality was not good as per their standard.
I was genuine customer from last 6-7 years. I love to eat executive lunch and gulab jamun. Last time, when I visit (2 years before) then the taste of gulab jamun was changed.
Today, I visit again expecting the same taste which I had found from many years. Executive lunch is not in there menu card{This is something which i love to eat}. I again ordered gulab jamun and again the taste was not up to the mark.
Jassi Management Please keep in your note that you are the only one who provides best gulab jamun before 3 years.
This is their first branch that was started in Ahmedabad long back. They have maintained food quality all along so many years. Restaurant's interior theme is little dark as there are no windows. There are two types of seating options available, a regular table seating and then there is a traditional Indian seating on the floor on cushioned chair. Menu is extensive and many times confusing if you apply your mind too much. You can order any Paratha of your choice and it will be served along with a small bowl of curd and white butter. If you order kulchas, it will be served with either dal makhani or chole. They serve red chutney and green chutney that has a very unique flavour and taste, it goes well with every Paratha. Do not miss white butter that will add a special taste to every Paratha. After the meal order either malpua or Roti-Gud ka churma. You can go with your friends or family to enjoy a fulfilling Punjabi meal. Parking outside the commercial complex is bit of a problem so plan your visit accordingly.
Jassi De Parathe are not only mouth watering but it's tastier and healthier too. With many other all time fresh food varieties and more especially their customised village food whom they usually famed for cooking their traditional makki di roti teh saro da saag has its similarity in taste wise only if anyone visits punjab, or no wonder if anybody can call them sada punjab hoon ahmedabad which.
Good place. Innovative ambience with all the village look, punjabi songs (not those which come on mtv;), Servers managers in typical punjabi attire - everything just gives you that Punjab vibes.
Food is authentic punjabi in terma of taste. Order anything from the menu and you won't be disappointed. Best lassi I've ever had in Gujarat.try Patiala Lassi (goodluck finishing it though!)
Regarding cost, it's very reasonable summing around Rs. 500 for 2 people. Service is quite good.they do not make you wait and attitude is very friendly. I was infact amazed to see them handling hospitality so well inspite having tremendous rush due to festival time.
There is also candlelight dinner facility for those who want to avail it. Although not an intelligent idea during summers as Ahmedabad is a hot and dry city. Temperature might be as high as 48° C. So depends on that aspect too.
Overall a wonderful option for any group of people - Be it family, be it friends, couple etc. Must visit place for non Ahmedabadis visiting ahmedabad. This place won't disappoint you
My husband take away biryani today and this is so weird they give biryani in 2min.this is socking that they not giving fresh cooking food.even when we open it, teast bad. I am jassi de parathe routine dinnin customer but this experience is not make me to go next time.and not recommended place.
Very authentic pujabi food, sabjis are to die for. Super soft tandoori rotis/naans, ahmedabad's best and authentic lassi (that too in patiyala glass), Super!
The old charm is lost. Visited again after long time, but one cannot find that premium feel. Though, the food is great. Biryani was very spicy, so don't forget to inform the person taking order to make it as per your preference.
Awesome Authentic Punjabi Food, The best Punjabi Food I eat in Ahmedabad till now. You get unique test in every dish you order. And also gets the satisfaction after eating. Strongly recommended for Pujabi Food Lovers.
Prahlad Nagar is best but Vastrapur is also emerging.little slow service in Vastrapur.and I went to Prahlad Nagar there I got complimentary drink after few days I went to Vastrapur but this time they didn't offer me any complimentary drink. But the food is good that's why I had rated 4.
Very very delicious food, and staff behaviour also very good, price little bit high but when you have food after that you will think that price is low in comparison to this type of food. Just highly recommend
