Jawaharlal nehru garden

Choppati or Chowpati refers to the Jawaharlal Nehru Garden of the city of Surat. This garden, considered as the largest and the oldest of all the gardens in the city, also houses a musical fountain.

No major activity. Pay & Use Toilets are Very Costly. Bus Journey is also costly. One time visit is Ok but no major attraction.

Best experience of partnering with nature irrespective of our age or time schedule of the day. In any hour of the day, you can enjoy here with multi type playground options.

Very small but peaceful garden. Children can play in 4 diff play areas. N best is parents can sit n relax because childrens are in the visible range of parents

Really nice garden at Athwa gate.earlier there was a lot of crowd but now the crowd is quite less and it is really very quite, there are some metro construction work going on but still the garden is quite clean. At the end of the garden there is a way to walk out and walk towards theriverfront, where you can walk really well and get a view of the new cable state Bridge on the Tapti river which is really nice.

Very good and very Big garden there here the leak scene is very good it's awesome i suggest you to one time visit it

One of the oldest and well maintained heritage garden (Chopati Garden) of the surat. A good street stall is available besides the garden. Large parking space. Center of the city garden. Need a little bit of maintenance in the garden. Must go for the tasty street food behind the garden.

Located at the banks of Tapi & a Popular place for families to let their kids play around on different rides and also for youngsters to hangout with their friends and lovers

I visited Jawaharlal Nehru garden with my friends. This Garden is very beautiful and peaceful place. This Garden is situated very near to Chaupati. Food corner is also available at here. You can see lots of flowers and lots of birds. If you are in Surat the most visit this Garden. Take a long walk after having long day work and Spend time with nature things, listen bird singing good

This garden is so beautiful and clean. I don't feel leave at the garden i feel I am in heaven.

Not upto the mark. There are Parking, playing areas and garden too, but not the satisfaction to be as in a garden.

Please change garden name. Nehru don't deserve this honor. He has given many problem to India and nothing contributed in freedom movement.

There is Surat Municipal nursery. You can buy plants from here but items are not more and I am not satisfied. Plants are limited and most of plants they are using for themselves to decorate vertical garden. So they are not giving to us. So always you will be dissatisfy.

Good for kids and family in weekend holiday.nice green environment.it's located in the bank of river tapi in Athwa lines area Surat. In from of KP Commerce college. Play area and lots of instrument for children to play with.
