Kutch Museum is located in Bhuj,  Kutchdistrict of Gujarat, India. It is the oldest museum of Gujarat which was founded in 1877. It is located opposite Hamirsar Lake. The museum was earlier known as Fergusson Museum. Best visiting place as per gujrat turisium and this is place very attraction to other place.

Nice museum. You must visit one time.in this museum there is much more about Kutchi Art work.like mud work, Bandhani Work, Local villagers Lifestyle demonstration etc.and much more Historical items are there.

Oldest museum of Kutch with Rich collection of old coins, embroidery, materials from Dholavira spot belongs to Harappa civilization.

No doubt, it's an amazing place to explore.
I thoroughly enjoyed. And Entry fees is also not that high. Cleanliness is required a bit more.

The arts and crafts and the old sculptures + painting are really Maintained properly.

Best thing is the Mega courtyard where they have kept big sofas and dining table. Looks tooo grand ️

This museum showcases traditional Kutchi cultures and textiles beautifully. It isn't vast in size but in terms of its collections and what they have done with it, it's very admirable and definitely worth a visit.

A bit small museum. Could have added Wildlife trophies and other aspects of Kutch Wildlife and historical asoects.

Knowledge about past and research about dhordo Sanskriti was good but staff can not give a permission to touch any part of museum

This place exploring the history of Kutch and art work. The time of visiting is 10am to 5pm generally. But on holidays you should first confirmed about it's status. They have the collection of different things related to art, culture and lifestyle. You can understand the past of Kutch and also their important things by visiting this place.

The museum glorifies & shares the rich history of the State of Kutch.
Learned a amazing fact that Kutch Princely State was never ruled by British.
It has a International 140+ yrs old School attached to it on the left side of Museum.

Kutch museum is a very good place to visit if one wants to know about the rich past of Kutch. At the entry itself you would spot real cannons of various gauges and sizes. The museum consists of two parts. On the ground floor one could see various stones and writings over the stones from the ancient time some stones date back to the jurrasic period. On the first floor one can see various garments and weapons including various decorative items made from pure ivory. Good place to visit if you are a history enthusiast

A remarkable presentation of the societies and culture of earliest centuries. An excellent presentation of artifacts are there which have not been lengthened and widened to India but also spread overseas.overall a place where u can get to know that present is the key to past as now this rich handicrafts are doing a great business across the world and people here earn their daily bread by selling their craftwork.

Situated in the hub of the heart. The museum is a little off beat, small as compared to other historical museum in India. The artifacts listed again are limited related to Gujarat and the legacy. Entry fee is very generous, u may not seem to have many tourist during off season. Before you visit make sure to see the timings.

Good for new generation kids to show about 1100 bc currency system, armour. Culture of society of village and different caste system and how they are staying.

Just for 5 rs entry ticket you will be able to see amazing handwork, historical coins, pottery work, old rocks and super amazing historical jewels. Loved the experience!

One of the oldest museum of kutch gujrat, historical place, also lots of tourists liked this place, this place is closed every Wednesday.
