It is divided into four service floors which includes all the forms of art. We went here for a site case study from my college and it was the best experience ever. The staff there is very helpfull, the canteen food is amazing ("a total ghar ka khana vibes"). The place has peacefull atmosphere to sit and work in canteen space. A must visit!

The Kutch Embroidery is a handicraft and textile signature art tradition of the tribal community of kutchh in Gujarat India. This embroidery with its rich designs has made a notable contribution to the Indian embroidery traditions. The embroidery, practiced normally by women is generally done on fabrics of cotton, in the form of a net using cotton or silk threads. In certain patterns, it is also crafted over silk and satin. The types of stitches adopted are “square chain, double buttonhole, pattern darning, running stitch, satin and straight stitches”. The signature effect of the colorful embroidery sparkles when small mirrors called abhla are sewn over the geometrically shaped designs. Depending on the tribal sub groups of rabari and mutavainvolved with this craft work many hand embroidered ethnic styles have evolved. These six styles: Suf, khaarek, paako, Ahir Rabari, Garasia Jat, and Mutava.

A must seen museum for social people. If desired and dedicated, how a person or association can change the life of hundreds;LLDC is living example of such persons. Working for down trodden families, they made the people specially ladies to work for their own betterment. The association has persuaded people to work on the art they knew and make this museum/exhibition for showcasing their work as well as helping them to sell products. Hats off to such nice persons
