Mandvi Beach and Windfarm

The only public beach of kachchh. Public has ruiend the beauty of this beach spreading garbage. Otherwise the beach is very nice to visit. You will get water rides camel rides atv rides. Good for family picnic.

Plenty of sports activity- ride in ATV, horse, boats, speed boat, zorb. Change room available on payment basis but general gents toilet was pathetic. No water in wash basin. Lighthouse. Free parking.

Beach has become a commercial spot.cost of snack items were double in price than normal and the crowd is too high, be carefull with autorickshaw they can loot u easily

The place is very nice but there is no dustbin for garbage where the bags fly around

Water sports is new attraction on beach.
Just opp to beach general government and private washrooms and toilets are there for changing clothes.surprising private charges less then government, then to cleanliness is much better in private.

Camel, horse and car rides are also available.
Car rides add too much pollution to beach - so try to avoid it.

It was sad to see windmills have gone less.

Mandvi is a Beach town with municipality in the Kutch district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It was once a major port of the region and summer retreat for Maharao (king) of the Cutch State. The old city was enclosed in the fort wall and remains of the fort wall can still be seen. The city has a four-hundred-year-old ship building industry which is still functional and dhows, a type of wooden ship, are still made.

The Mandvi beach is a golden-brown sprawl of sand along the southern tip of Kutch district in Gujarat. It lies south of Bhuj, the main junction. The beach lies along the namesake town that was once a thriving port for India. The fort wall of the erstwhile trading hub still runs along the old part of town. The calm beach is a refreshing addition for travelers to the town. Evenings are particularly great with the sunset and the bustle of snack stalls and balloon sellers.
It is just 60 odd km away from bhuj city, which has good road connection with mandvi.

Wonderful place to hang out best time is to reach there by 5-515 pm till then the sun cools down and one can stay there till 645-7 pm to enjoy the scenic views and cool breeze also have a horse, camel, atv rude for fun (do bargain)

Although picturesque, the beach front is full of encroachments. The beach itself is strewn with food wrappers and waste.

A wonderful place for turist and also a very natural place for photography.flow of water was very good to make it easy for enjoy. After enjoying in beach, bathing facilities are also available. Huge parking facilities and many more like photography, Camel riding, horse riding, dirt bike riding etc.

Require more facilities as public toilets, sitting benches, some more rides, lights covering beach at late evening and patrolling from cost guards

Although the beach is good, it is overcrowded on holidays. So if you are planning on visiting during holidays expect having to jostle for space right from the time you are within 2-3 kms of the beach.

The beach is very empty. The people are very friendly and the place is very safe for solo female travellers

Yeah.its Okay for other days (my second visit in dec 2018). But becomes good entertainment during Navratris (my first visit was in navratri 2017) as there is garba dance competition of entire Kutch district. More than 95 entries dancing 10-15 group entries every evening.

Mandvi Kutch beach is more than extra ordinary. It is safe, serene, stretching, clean place having motor sports options, camel and horse back riding and delicious and good local flavours (hawkers). Dabeli is a trademark food item of Mandvi. It is situated just 2kms away from the center of city. Do not forget to visit Gayatri Temple on your way and yes coconut water is simply a treat on the beach. You can mostly hire an Auto rickshaw to reach here and can mostly get an Auto rickshaw to ride back as well. It is heavily crowded on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Less traffic on other days and in mornings till 5 pm. People here in Mandvi are very reliable and trustworthy. Must visit place.

Amazing place to have fun in Winter season sp. In Makarsankrati. But Little bit more traffic there. You have to wait for 1 to 2 hr in traffic. Also, there is no traffic police to control trafficking in festive seasons.

This beach is so clean, when we visited this place, we didn't find any trash here and there which is not so common about other beaches.
