Modheshwari Mata Mandir

Mandir is very good and well maintained. Goddess Modeshwari blesses all devotees. Must visit.

Mataji Mandir is good but no cleanlines. No management. Restrooms are sinking. Full of bad smell.

Modheshwari mata is actually ma Matangi, one of the dash mahavidhya, who 10 different aspects of Ma Parvati.

This temple is ancient as well as new. It has been renovated with pink sandstone and looks very attractive. Mandir garbhagrih is 2 storey down from the ground level. The garbhagrih has golden cladding and Ma Modheshwari Matangi looks enchantingly beautiful in it. Mata vigrah is in white marble, dashbuija and ruding lion. The temple exudes divine vibes.

There is big yagyashala in front of garbhagrih at ground level. There is a large Matangi yantra placed on a wall on right side of garbhagrih in the parikrama.

There is a shrine of Ma Bhattarika adjacent to main mandir. Ma Bhattarika gives boon of child to childless mother. The priest says that till today there is no one who has prayed to Ma Bhattarika earnestly and has not got birth of child.

There is Dharmeshwar Shivling shrine. There are also shrines of Ram Darbar, Ganesh, Hanuman and others at various places in temple. It is worth visiting this temple.

Well managed and maintained premises.
Its very peaceful to stay here for 2-3 days. Along with eating good food in their canteen.

Newly built/renovated temple. Ample parking space in the campus. Modhera Sun Temple is very near from this temple.

Budget friendly rooms with low facilities but you can stay here if you want to roam around

This is very old historic temple of Modhewari ma.
Ma Modhewari is the kuldevi of modh-modi, bramin cast. MA is kuldevi of our PM, Narendra Modi including mine also. One should visit this place. There is a facilities of stay and food also.

Very peaceful place, well managed, good rooms n lunch at reasonable rates. Prasad also good. Visited many times.

Temple is good, but management is not good. Rooms are not clean.tapwater was dirty.they charge 1000rs.for ac room and for non ac 200 rs. Not satisfied with rooms cleaning. That's is it.
Temple is quite pleasant and peaceful.you can spend hours and hours there.

It’s a temple with having a great construction and atmosphere. It’s always a great feeling to be there with your family. Photography is not allowed inside temple.

Good development infrastructure but mindset is yet orthodox, i being a modh bhramin Maa Modheahwari is our kuldevi and we do go to take blessing many a times in a year, rooms are superb and ambiance is also very nice the only problem here is management they are racist as they dnt give room to other cast which i feel is being racist as the person who’s coming for darshan are not a local many time they travel a lot to reach at the mandir and they should provide stay to each and everyone who come to take blessings of Maa they can charge extra then regular cost but not giving stay to other cast is not accepted. Management kindly look into this and take a positive decision so that whoever comes for darshan goes with a positive vibe from our Mandir.

Great development with regards to infrastructure within few months! The facilities n food they provide is outstanding and the amount of peace u get is beyond imagination.

This is holy place for Modh Brahmins but I think all should visit this place at least 1 time in life.
It is so good and the temple is big and is one of my favourite temple.
I visit it 2 to 3 times a year
Also the infrastructure is good and there is bhojanalay also.

Very nice and calm place at modheshwari mataji mandir. Its actually a kuldevi of many people including modiji.also one should visit surya mandir. Its very ancient. Bahucharaji mandir is also nearer to the modhera.

Oldest Temple of Hindus, Purohit Brahmins kuldevi temple.there are lot of parking space and also space for stay. You can stay long as you want.

Nice temple.the temple stay timings are changed.if you are planning to stay in the temple or want to rest for couple hours, the gate closes at 12: 30am and opens at 7: 30am.so make sure you plan your travel accordingly.other wise you might see challenge in getting rooms if you reach mid night in the temple.rooms are ok with reasonable price.

This temple is in Modhera town and is said to be the ancestral diety for the Modi, Trivedi community. It is really huge temple, very neat, clean and well maintained, which also serves healthy vegetarian Prasad on payment of a nominal amount. I had a sumptuous lunch there. It's a worth visit for all who go to Modhera Sun Temple.

Very beautiful and big Place for Peace. Its a Holly Temple of Modheshwari Mata Ji (Kul Devi) of Hindus. Pandit Ji do Hawan here. Gardens are well maintained for Senior citizens and children specially. There's a Lot of space for Car Parking. Rooms, toilets, bathrooms are very clean.

Beter place to do Yog, Aasn, Pranayam and Dhyan.

Really great place. Beautiful spiritual temple. Right now some part of temple under construction, has a mini garden and parking space as well.

This is one of the finest temple of HINDU CULTURE. This temple belong to Shri Modheshwari Mata (goddess of hindu culture). I think this is the most peaceful place one can visit anytime. All type of facilities are provided here like parking area, rooms (AC/NON-AC), water facilities, lunch, garden.etc
You can come here and rest for two-three days with your family. You can have a great family time here.

My kuldevi's temple.

Revisited again 16 th Feb 2020. As being sunday there were many devotees and some marraige were also there. Took darshan very nicely and peacefully. Temple renovation is very well done and gives very vibrant looks. One must visit sun temple as well as becharaji near to this temple.

The place is beautiful. Has a nice weather. Many temples at a place. Love the way we were treated. It was a very nice experience.

The Sun Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the solar deity Surya located at Modhera village of Mehsana district,  Gujarat, India. It is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati. It was built after 1026-27 CE during the reign of Bhima I of the Chaulukya dynasty. No worship is offered now and is protected monument maintained by Archaeological Survey of India. The temple complex has three components:  Gudhamandapa, the shrine hall; Sabhamandapa, the assembly hall and Kunda, the reservoir. The halls have intricately carved exterior and pillars. The reservoir has steps to reach the bottom and numerous smallshrines.

Ancient Temple. Now modify with gardan and tall building With lift to go into old temple place. The ancient vav is also situated here.

I visited this temple because Maa Modheshwari is my Kuldevi. Very nice temple. Sun Temple modhera is only 5 minutes drive from this temple. Maa give blessings to everyone who visit this temple. Jai mataji.

This Temple's deity is main goddess on whose name this place is in existence is Modhera from Modheshwari Mata.
So visit this temple too which is just a km from sun temple.
Besides darshan it has both lodging boarding facilities devotees at nominal rates. The place is well kept wit ample parking and public convenience facilities.
View Dharmeshwari Vav inside temple premises where entry is not permitted for religious sentiments.

It is modheshwari mataji's temple in modhera. The mataji is kulswamini mata of entire modh gujrathi samaj. Temple is renovated now, work is in progress. There is all facilities available. Such as tea, coffee, lunch and dinner and also rooms available to stay in cheap rates starting from 200 to 1000 as required.

It's dream of people who belongs to Modh Vanik cast to visit this temple since it's KulDevi temple for them.
