Pet Zone

Poor management of animals. It's not "Pets Zone" it's basically zoo. All you see is common animals like goats, cows, hens and the birds we which we already saw during jungle safari ride.

Small area where one can come up close with domestic animals like, cows, goat, ponies, rabbits, Ginni pig and few birds.

When we went they didn't allow us to interact/ pet/ feed them, we were informed that such activities are stopped for time being. Petting & coming up close with them was our main motto. Otherwise it's like a mini zoo. Walking around took us some 30 minutes.

Tickets can be bought from Zoo, which is right across.

Can handle pets in real.
Otherwise its same like zoo.
Enjoyed photo session with green iguana.

Spread over a small area, most sections were locked when we visited the place.
If you have time then you can visit else you can skip the place.

Good place to visit especially for Kids, worth money

Try to visit before 11 am or between 4 to 5 pm to avoid heat during high temperature season

Half of the place is restricted for entry. Most of the zone doors was closed and no one was there to monitor.

They dont allow you to pet macow like before.no staff was available for enquiry. It was good but could have been best if we were allowed to pet.

From the reviews I had seen here, I was very excited but the experience was honestly quite disappointing. If you're someone who thought you will be able to 'pet' the animals then don't go. They just allow you to look at them and feed a few specific things and that's it. The caretakers were not helpful at all and the pets were in a pretty bad condition. The 2 stars are only for the pets. I would bot recommend to anybody.

Must visit place if you love animals
Also Ideal to for kids.
There are many varieties of animals here, we can touch them, play with them feed them the food available inside.
They are divided in different sections
Rabbits, goat, sheep, horses, ducks, different types of parrots, Persian cats.
The area is quite wide and they are adding more animals too.
Totally worth a visit, it has less rush compared to jungle safari.

It's small place, where you can actually feel animals / birds by touching them and play with them.

There were hardly any animals/birds here.a few parrots/macaws in a cage, rabbits, 2 horses, 2 cows and 2 cats. Majority of the area was under construction and did not get to pet any animals. Not worth the time and entry fee

I wish it was more cleaner and hygienic
Also, there must be a guiding staff who can help us actually connect well to pet animals here.

Concept is a really worth appreciating

But i suggest they must make it worthwhile experience by atleast taking care of the place.

This place was undergoing renovations and most of the animals were in cages except 'Moti' the blue-and-gold macaw. I think petting him and holding the beautiful bird in you hands is worth the INR 50/- entry fee.

Once the renovation is complete you should be able to pet yellow crested cockatoo, African grey parrots and red-and-green macaw. The Persian cat is another interesting animal.

Nothing special about ducks, rabbits, horses, goats and cows.

When we visited it was to croudy. Not allowed to take parrot or rabbit in your hand due to unexpected croud

Definitely the worst place to visit during SOU trip. The cages were dirty and smelling. I saw some animals had rashed skin and some even looked sick. There was also a dead rabbit lying inside. The condition of animals in jungle safari is way better than here

One should avoid visit here if they are on a short one or two day trip to save some time.

It had many different pet animals but hygiene was not maintained some pets were so dirty that you wouldn't try petting them at all. Also there were no staff there were few people but there were just sitting there doing nothing. There should be active participation of staff to make sure no one harms the pets and that would also make people more comfortable as pets were inside the cage and you were supposed to go into the cage by yourself not knowing how friendly the pets are.although all pets were friendly except one duck ;)

This is excellent place conceptualised & created near Narmada Dam. Many attractions in this area. Just opposite Jungal Safari we have Pet Zone. In this area all pets are kept. Kids enjoyed this area very much. Nice place.

I must say, I personally felt that pet zone was the best part of the whole trip.
It's a small one with only 5-6 cages, but staff is very supportive and I just loved being there. It's something different for normal.generally u r not allowed to go in cage. But they allow us to go and play with the pets. Touch them, feel them and click pics with them.

This place is very amazing. Here, they give animals like rabbit, donkey, birds, cats to play. Give Parrot to play and click phots with it. This place is exact to click beautiful photos with various animals. If you visit jungle safari and other place in kevadiya then don't forget to visit this amazing zone.
