This place is good, well maintained and everything inside is well organised. There is a buggy service option too for point to point pickup. Charges are nominal.
Transportation back from zoo to your hotel or home is a challenge. Uber/Ola do not come and easily and you have to rely on auto's waiting outside who charge very exorbitantly.

Nice place to feel the nature closely and also its snake bar service is also good.
E rickshaw sercive is available with a nomimal fee of INR 20 per person.
Should avoid visiting on festival days as it gets overcrowded.

One can easily spend 3-4 hours here without being aware of time.

It is a very nice place to visit this zoo with your family on weekends, specially for your children.

You can see hundred of animals there, starting from tiger, bear, lion elephant and many others.

The birds house is the most amazing place.

I moved to rajkot in 2017 and I visited this zoo 1st time in June 2017.and than I hve visited this zoo almost 35 to 40 time in this 5 yrs.can visit with family. Ticket rates are so reasonable. All cages are animal friendly and well cleaned and well maintained. Out size food, plastic are strictly prohibited. 4-5 food parlours are available in the zoo with eco-friendly packings so You can enjoy food in the zoo. Best place for nature and animal photography.

In last I request to all visitors that if visitors keep silence near cages because it can affect animals habits you can not feel nature and you can easily see animals with minimum distance otherwise they will stay far from visit site.

Good place to visit in Rajkot. Many different species of animals, birds, reptiles and fishes are present. The park covers a very large area spread over many acres. The place is one of the only few green spots available in Rajkot and is a very good place to teach kids about the different species of animals which they might never experience in real life.

This place is quite serene, away from the hussle and bustle of the city. It's a well maintained zoo, one can dine at the restaurant amidst nature. More of clean washrooms would earn a 5 star.

Need to increase animal and variety of animals it can be better zoo according to size of place.

Nice ace to visit.full place of nature.you must visit.they have restricted to enter with food or snacks.but if you have a small baby child then you can take some food for it. But in zoo 3/4 canteens are there in which they serve good food.

2 leopards, 3 lions, 2 tigers, 2 white tigers, sambhars, Himalayan black bears, sloth bears, crocodiles, birds and enjoyment. Great place to be.

The Zoological park is beautifully made.many types of animals are covered like Reptiles, wild animals, fishes, birds and many more.

The park also has small lakes for ducks and flamingos. Tree plantations, flower gardens and a butterfly garden are also developed.

You can get engaged for the entire day to see all the animals. There is a canteen / restaurant available inside the park for snacks.

If you don't want to walk and want to spend some good amount of money then hire a jeep or battery operated car / buggy from inside the park at the main gate.

Canteens and washrooms are available at various locations inside.

By walk you will enjoy the nature. All green, beautiful sounds of birds.

I have visited the park with my family during the monsoon season. We loved the park.

Its is green, fresh and its abit small.there is hills so you will get tired but there is cars

Superb park ever, it's a very big park, canteen is also available, so many types of animals like LION, TIGER, WHITE TIGER, JACKAL, OSTRICH, CROCODILE, MONKEYS, SNAKES, DUCKS, DEERS, INDIAN PYTHONS, FISH, TURTLE, EAGLE, IGUANA, BEAR, ETC.there is also a car if u don't want to walk, it's very big u have to walks so many steps, best time to visit monsoon season bcoz park looks like a mini jungle and nice atmosphere there.

Awsome! Place for your kids, kids are really enjoy this place, good place to teach about different animal and birds. How we can preserve it and how we can help them by preserving nature. Nature is the best home for wildlife we can teach our kids by showing them different species and how they create an internal environment to make them feel like their home. Must vist the place once with family.

All the animals, birds, fishes, are mostly kept in their natural home like cages.
All the cages are huge enough for animals to wander around.
They are maintaining it very well.
Recently they have started interpretation zone also which gives information about different animals n their sounds and their residence area

When i visited 2 years ago there was so many species but now it has reduced, but overall good place to reconnect with nature near it also lakes are there

Entry fees for 10+ Years old is ₹25 and between 3 to 10 years, its ₹10.

Things to keep in mind before visit:
• This place don't let you in with Food items or any games and stuffs.
• You will get food from canteens inside the zoo park, prices of the same are regular as you find in the city.

You will find different types of animals and birds and other living creatures in this zoo, like White Tigers, Lions, Cheetah, Different types of Snakes, turtles, birds, about 60 types of fishes in Fish Tank, and much much more.

It's surrounded with full of greenery and feels kind of Jungle tour.

Must visit place if you have time of atleast one full day.

Amazing place for animal lovers
. I have found all animals except *cheetah* here and also a bird section and aquerium for fish is also here. Canteen is also here. All above amazing memories I created here.

I don't know, if I should be disappointed on the way the animals are taken care of; or should be happy because their conditions are better than the other zoos that I have visited in my life. I might be overly sensitive about this case, but, I don't know, what to say. All I can say is, they can be in better conditions. And, I'm not blaming anyone for this. They just can be taken care of more properly.

A place to spend some extra time if you are in Rajkot for a day or two. Local Citizens don't recommend it as it's quite huge to walk around the park but I would surely recommend as the Flora and Fauna along with Wildlife is worth watching.

Just one problem, we are getting tired because its too big, I never saw whole the zoo, it is taking more time, general it takes 2-3 hours.

Pradyuman Zoological Park is located at a distance of approximately 5 kms away from Rajkot city center. This park is also called as the Pradyuman/Rajkot Prani Sangrahalaya and this zoological park is spread over an area of 137 acres.

Pradyuman Park is a place which is a habitat for various rare animals and birds. This park is known as one of the best picnic spots in Rajkot. This park is located in a natural habitat touching Lake Lalpari and Randarda Lake. Tourists visit this place which is rich with flora and fauna, it has more than thirty five thousand trees. Lions of Gir, leopard, tigers are the prime attraction of the park. Crocodiles, sambhar, chinkara, blackbucks, four horned antelope are few others among the animals in the zoo. Many rare birds can be seen migrating at this place.

Pradyuman Park is managed by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation. And the park has infrastructures that are needed for the visitors, there are facilitated lavatories, drinking water, and sheds to help tourists in exploring this site effortlessly. There are restaurants and cafes in the park and for senior citizens he authorities have launched battery vehicle to tour aged and disabled person easily.

Best time to visit would be from February to June. Entry fees for people differ according to age, Rs. 5 for kids, Rs. 10 for adults, Rs. 50 for foreigners. Additional charges are required if you use your camera for video (Rs. 2000) or pictures (Rs. 100). People often come to this place during weekends for recreation. The park remains open on all national holidays too, except the remains closed every Friday. It os open to public during timings 9: 00 AM to 7: 00 PM.

Take umbrella along in rainy season. Don't go to gym the day you visit here. Make a half day trip.

Pradyuman park is one of my favorite place in Rajkot and one of the greatest place created by Rajkot municipal corporation and it is such a delight to plan a one day trip with our friends and family in the weekends as it feels so relaxing out there and really enjoy to see the natural beauty and various kinds of the animals, birds and many more in that, such a nice experience with this park.

First of all very good location and having more then enough space that anything can be planned best way for Zoo.

Place is neat and clean always and outside food is not allowed inside zoo which is best part of it.

But need improvement in local transportation of battery cab, they drop visitors from where we have to walk lot of way to cover all parts of zoo, which is kind of hedeache for kids, small kids gets tired by walking a lot. Management should arrange such transportation that there should be multiple drop points so that visitors can cover every part of the zoo without get tired.

There are canteens inside but no healthy foods available for kids on any of canteens so that please focus on this point also.

Otherwise best tourist place of the town that every kid will be love to visit any time.

Most of the animals were sleeping in afternoon. I guess best time to visit zoo is morning and evening.

You have to buy first entry tickets and if you want to visit whole park then you can take rent a car. This park is best park for spending time with family and friends. This is quite good place for photography. This park have natural environment so you can enjoy your time.also this park is very neat and clean. There are canteens so you can buy a food. This park have lotus lake where lotus flower grows up. Very very nice park in Gujarat. I like most. They follow all the rules of government for covid situation for safety and protection.

Pradyuman Zoo Rajkot is very famous in Rajkot City. An old zoo known as a Aji Zoo was situate in 1992, , public park area well-known as Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Park near Aji dam on Bhavnagar road by Municipal Corporation of Rajkot. A new recent Zoological park in an area known “Pradyuman Park”located 2 KM away from the Aji Zoo.

There are many people to visit this Pradyuman Zoological Park in Rajkot and during vacation time many people come in this famous park.

Pradyuman Zoo Rajkot opened by Rajkot Municipal Corporation which is open in Swarnim Gujarat celebration year. Pradyuman Park is spread in 137-acre of area. On an average, 1,000 People are expected to visit the park each day. Rajkot’s older Aaji zoo’s wild-animals are shifted to new Pradyuman Garden. Pradyuman Park is a very beauty full place. This popular picnic spot is located at a distance of 5 kms from Rajkot. Now a days at this place a big zoo developed called as “pradhuman park”. It is one of the most exotic natural spots on the outskirts of the city and is a popular bird watching venue. The lakes are roosting places for different species of birds including rare migratory birds. Some of the species of birds found here include black tailed godwit, rosy pastor, pheasant tailed jacan, purple moor hen, wigeon, common teal, pelican and spoon bill. The most beautiful attraction of this place was WHITE TIGHER. There is a electric vehicle available for roaming in the zoo.

Bad experience at park, I visited on 21 Oct sunday at 5: 30 pm and there was entry closed however Pradhyu park site mentioned at 8: AM TO 7: PM.there is no any person available for ans my simple question of who finalized timing for park for open and close. I seen there more than 400 people with his little children not get entry due to timing.

Great atmosphere at pradhyuman zoological park. Amazing experience and also learn of different types of snakes and fishes. So many animals are in the park like Monkeys, cacoons, Tiger, lions, white tigers, bears, crocodile, randiers, wolfs and many others.
New thing is fish museum and great to see many species of fishes. Also one cantin there And such great food in that.

The only zoological Park in rajkot. It has all around greenery with appropriate guidance with maps and marking, people's hunger are also taken care of although the food sold is branded but local manufactured but still eatables are provided like sandwiches? , cold drinks, ice creams, few chats and pani puri and all that stuff

I love this place. I visited it very frequently. There is garden for children also. There are some wild animals present in cage. For botanical and Zoological study we can go there.

Nice place. Located bit outside city area but its good since it is better for animals. The park is big, so if you are walking you might get tired. Good thing is they have golf car sortof of facility so its helpful to roam around. Besides animals, they have separate bird house and aquarium too. Drinking water, toilet facilities and even a restaurant type shop is there inside.

One of the nicest place in Rajkot on the river bank of Ajee. It is similar to Indroda park in Gandhinagar. Though there are not so many animals there still, you can enjoy time with family and friends.

Entry should be free for everyone they were charging for entry also there was no wheelchair for whom who has problem for walk and front staff behaviour was also not good
