After passing away of his Guru Shri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda travelled all over India as an itinerant monk for about three years out of which the longest period was spent in Gujarat.
Swamiji came to Vadodara in April, 1892 and stayed in Dilaram Bungalow as a guest of Shri Manibhai Jasbhai, the then Diwan of Vadodara. He discussed with him about the educational system of the state. Swamiji visited the Library and saw the pictures by Ravi Varma in the Laxmi Vilas Palace. Of all the ruling Princes Swamiji had met, he was most impressed with the capacity, patriotism, energy and foresight of H. H.the Gaekwad of Baroda.
It is a matter of great joy that this historic Dilaram Bungalow sanctified by the stay of Swami Vivekananda has been handed over by the Government of Gujarat to the then vice President of Ramakrishna Order Srimat Swami Atmasthanandaji Maharaj on 18th April, 2005, Ramanavmi Day. From that day an official branch of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission started functioning in Vadodara.

Serene place to visit for spiritual seekers. I spent one hour there and it was the best hour of my life. The kind of peace you'll get here is unmatchable. The best thing about this place is, situated nearby railway station. Hence, you don't have to take bus or rikshaw. It's at walking distance and it'll hardly take 10 minutes from railway station. I suggest you if you happen to be in vadodara then must visit this place.

Is it good place for peace of mind, evening time live prayer done here which is devoted to Swamiji and Paramhansa dev. Location is very good, all community can come here for pray to almighty.

Peaceful place with lots of positive vibes. Decent library but admin should look into adding many more recent books. Happy that I am a member of this library. With the membership card, we can take books in any Ramakrishna mission ashram across India. Very well organised, systematic mutth. Staff and swamijis are too soft spoken. A peaceful place to visit and spend some quality spiritual time. The atmosphere is really nice. Because of COVID restrictions one cannot see the Arati. The book store is a nice place to visit as well

Hospital not in vadodara it's far from main baroda city. New hospital work under process. Very Neat and Clean hospital. For Dialysis pts it's good. Vehical not available to reach the hospital plan accordingly only.

At this place swami vivekanand was stay for 3 month in his era. After that this banglow waa donate for ramkrishna mission. Now here meditation, library, book stall are run by ram krishna mission trust. And various types student and public oriented program conduct by ramkrishna mission. This place have very pieceful environment.

One of the best natural holy place in Vadodara. Near to railway station and vmart. Surrounded by natural environment, lot of tree where birds song can be heared all that create an amazing spiritual feeling. Well managed. As known this is the place where Vivekanand spend some days before going to Chicago. Having great ambience. Many social activity done by ramkrishan mission trust. One can spend a blissful time in this place where a library and book stall rich of spiritual books are there.

Ramakrishna mission Vivekananda memorial is place of all religions. Dilaram Banglo is sanctified by swami Vivekananda in year 1892 Great place to visit. It's very close to Rail and bus station. Near circuit house.
