Ranmal lake park is located in middle of Jamnagar bilt by King Jam Ranmal many years ago while india was not independent, some years ago JMC renowned it. Ranmal lake tourist place very attractive and beautiful, many birds comes from Russia in winter season. If you are in Jamnagar you must visit this place once. A beautifully developed lake with calm environment where one can enjoy anytime.

This place is developed so nicely such that people of every age group can enjoy. A great picnic spot.

At the time of visit there was nominal entry fees of 10 rupees. But daily visitors can get pass as per my knowledge.

Food court, Museum and Garden is also inside the lake area.

Beautiful place located in heart of city there is a garden area for kids n caferia for different kind of food n filtered drinking water n toilet is also available

It was very Cold when we visited even in February. People visit here mainly to see the lake and for a walk or a jog.

Ranmal Lake (Lakhota Lake) in the middle of Jamnagar city spreaded over 5 lakh square meters and is divided into three parts. The lake promotes the beauty of the city, and provides ideal shelter for tourists and migratory birds as well.  Ranmal or Lakhota Lake is said to be constructed by Jam Ranmalji II between 1820 to 1852.  This circular lake spreaded around 5 lakh sq meters is a unique identity. Resting places like pavilions, bastions, artistic gardens, etc.have been placed around the lake. The exquisite architectural fort of architecture known as Lakkhota built at a cost of millions is in the middle of the lake. Both of these monuments does not only describe the art but also the state’s kind, affectionate, loving nature.

Nicely build place.good to go for a walk.can find few birds if interested in photography.entry fee is Rs 10 however u have to pay separately for museum entry ie rs 25 per head and Rs 100 for camera.but you are not allowed to take pics inside it.

If your planning not to click pics, then better keep it inside the vehicle or dont carry at all as they dont have any safe locker nor they will give any recept but will not allow to take pics also.sorry but since its Gujarat dont expect much swatch bharat here as u will find people spitting pan all over the place.and the water too is full of litter on all edges.seriously dont understand govt is spending so much on development but when will we develop.forget it's not a political platform to discuss all this.overall good place to visit

It is a good place for morning walk and also their a special track for jogging. Also we captured some great photographes. Also we can get peace of mind at that place. Also there is a museum & special screen show about history jamnagar city.there are some parks for children. Such a beautiful place in Jamnagar.

It's amazing for me when my mood off i come here, and my mood is on. Here is refresh air and wonderful landscape, here many people come to walking and just for fun and enjoy theirs moment, many friends come here for celebrate to birthday and anniversary. And also couple come here for enjoy theirs lovely moment.

Awesome place to visit in jamnagar city. It is well maintained jogging track, garden and mainly Lake Palace Museum. If you are visiting Jamnagar for some other things it is most visiting spot with full on fun with peaceful environment. It is best to visit near about 5 o'clock if you are interested in museum and site seeing from the center of the lake.

And night light effect is inescapable if you truly believe in man's art and nature combination.

Nice to see lots of people taking early morning jogging, running, walking, yoga and related activities in Jamnagar.
There is Jogging track, restroom, drinking water, rest place, workout place in the facilities.

Best location for wedding photography, a good place to spend time and also good for early morning jogging and from 5 a.m. To 7 a.m it's free for everyone for jogging. And also there is a museum for old jamnagar souvenir and vintage weapons and there is a skeleton of fish. And there is two different inside garden for children to play and one for old aged people to sit and relax. This is the place where you will feel peace.

Lakhota Palace and the Ranmal (or Lakhota) Lake were built in the mid-19th century by Jan Ranmal II, the king of Navanagar. Lake was intended to act as a water reservoir in times of need. The small Lakhota palace placed beautifully in the middle of the lake was the original seat of its rulers. The semi-circular bastions, canons, turrets, guard rooms with swords, musket loops, powder flasks, etc. - all hint towards the level of military preparedness of the kingdom. In case of an attack, the lake would also have acted as a moat to the fortress.

There is also a small museum within the palace which houses ancient sculptures dating from 9th to 18th century, medieval age pottery items and small firearms. Walls of the museum are covered with murals depicted scenes of past war fought by Jadeja Rajputs
