The restaurant has been in business for a very long time and and has its share of loyal customers. They serve vegetarian food which is good and tasty. I tried the baked cheese macaroni pineapple which was good. The ambience is okay and the staff is helpful. The seating is a bit cramped so the restaurant wout be too crowded during busy hours and weekends. During a weekday lunch hours, there was only another table occupied apart from ours. The only thing I dislike is the handling of the spoons heads with bare hands by waiters - this rather feels unhygienic though that's common in many places and people don't seem to mind.
As I had read many reviews so we gave a try to eat here and here what we found: 1. The Prices of items are very much inflated. 2. Veg Crispy was totally tasteless, so we didn't want to experiment and asked the waiter to suggest, accordingly we ordered Paneer Nawabi, but that was like any other thela wala's Punjabi, nothing extraordinary to mention. 3. Ambience is very congested and nothing to mention there as well. 4. Parking is also a big issue. 5. I paid through Dineout and showed the payment success screen to the cashier just near the gate, still the Gateman was blocking the gate, until the cashier confirmed payment to his side, this behavior was really embarrassing. Overall, the rates don't justify and there are better options rate wise and taste wise within the periphery of this hotel. Ahi dil thi nahi bill thi khavadave che, so make your choice wisely.
I have been eating here since I was a kid and with no doubt the taste remains the same. All these years passed but the quality is still the same which is the best thing about this restaurant. I would love to visit this place again & again. Only thing is they have excluded some food items in their menu like all south indian dishes, I personally liked them alot, even the cutlets were not this time which my parents used to eat long back before. Hope they bring back the old menu.
The pioneer of Man in agar, Rasna has been delivering the same taste in food for last 32 years now. The first Punjabi restaurant, Rasna Restaurant is popular among its customers, who still are a very integral part of Rasna and its success! They have Punjabi, south Indian, continental and Chinese cuisine to offer. A small place has been making huge place in people's heart.
RASNA IS A BEST NORTH INDIAN AND PURE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT FOR MANINAGAR. FROM LAST 25 YEARS I AM REGULARLY VISITING RASNA. VERY NICE RESTAURANT AND DELESIOUS FOOD. VERY COOPERATIVE STAFF.
