Riverfront Flower Park

Ahmdavadi's favourite picnic spot for all family friends couples, olders, yongers, youths, kids.

On 21 March 2018, a steel foot overbridge (pedestrian bridge) was approved by the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd (SRFDCL) connecting both banks of Sabarmati river, at a cost of ₹74 crore (US$9.3 million). [1][2] The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation named it after former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary on 25 December 2021. [3] The construction was completed by June 2022. [4][5] On 27 August 2022, it was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Awesome place to visit. I found it as the center of attraction in Ahmedabad. People can enjoy here and refresh themselves. It is anice place for walk, cycling and photography. One can enjoy cruise ride as well here.

Its a normal garden with less greenery due to heavy crowds visiting, people damaging grass, plants & trees. Is very crowded during weekends, holidays. Also flower park and atal bridge are ticketed. There's a new huge multi level car park which always has spaces available no matter the day.

It's nothing more than a park and there are no flowers to speak of. Still a good experience

I go there on Sunday, there is too much of a crowd. Whole flower park looking gorgeous. There are many places to shoot videography and photoshoots. There are different varieties of flowers in flower park. Every person seems busy in photography, no one observed this wonderful natural view. I sit there and observe different people and their activities here. Overall a nice place to hang out on the weekend. So I love the place.

Very good river front park.when we visited it is not flowering season. So disappointed. Very strict covid rules.

Good place for evening walk, cycling. Kudos to municipal corporation to keep it well-maintained

Nothing to enjoy there. Good for walking and cycling only. Stagnant water stinks lot. Due to some reason auto rickshaw is not allowed in this area. Hence, visitors have to walk around 1 or 1.5 Km by foot, those who to commute by auto rickshaw.

Great place to go out for morning walks and cycling.really peaceful and you can also get cycles on rent here

Foot over bridge to view Sabarmati river. 6 to 8 months down, this will be one of the best attractions in Ahmedabad. Lot of social DPs will have this

Very good and calm place to go it doesn't have many things to do one can do cycling here which cost so low and one can also do boating here rather than his one can sit and enjoy the river here

You wont really get to see any flowers until you go in spring season or so. Plus the park keepers are ill-mannered and rude

Liked the flower park, the backroad meant for walking and bycycle is very neat and peaceful. Due to shortage of time couldn't use the Yatch service. Overall a great experience.

Very nice atmosphere and air place, this place is Front of sabarmati River, Elishbridge Area, all type of floor tree and lost of lighting facility, good for photoshoot, best place for children and Copal and elder people,

A very damm place for photoshoots. You can also visit this place with your family but except flowers there's nothing much to see here. Again very good place for photoshoots

A good park made available by AMC and Riverfront committee to the public with variety of flowers, photo points, fragrance garden under green house etc near the river Sabarmati from which one can have breathtaking view of the Riverfront.
Flower show event happens here once in a year generally in January month which is organized by municipality in which flea market also opens there with the event where different gardening supplies and much more thing are generally available.

A must visit place.

Now a days it is not worth to visit. No flowers in side, no sitting arrangements outside. Even simple boating per member Rs. 130 is also high.

Pros: Hats off to the decoration and efforts spent in creating the park. In such high temperature climate it's really difficult to manage the flowers planted here. All the artifacts made by plants and flowers are amazing.
Cons: During daytime, you will be happy to see flowers but won't be able to bear the heat as there is no shade or no place where sunlight doesn't reach.
Parking is an issue during weekends and evening. They have a separate place for it which gets full by evening. Even if you get space, while leaving the jam will take all your time.
