The temple is located on the way from Dwarka to Okha.
The temple is dedicated to Shrimati Rukminidevi who is also known as the goddess of fortune.
We were fortunate enough to visit the temple on aha astami during Navratri festivities and were able to see the Evening Arati.
The best thing about the temple is, it teaches us the importance of fresh water in a dry and saline environment like Gujrat.
Make sure to recieve the jal Prasad at the temple and offer jal Daan service.

A nice mandir situated very close to Dwarka. The mandir is famous for being the only mandir where you can perform "Jaldan". The structure is really old but the history is a bit unclear.

The place of Rukmini Mata is most beautiful and I believe, She is a heart of Dwarka City and offcourse Dwarkadhishji. Rukminimaa is the one without her darshan we can not get the fruits of Dwarkadhishji darshan and without her darshan our Chardham yatra is also incomplete, She is the Goddess without we can not reach Krishn, Having her darshan and donating water is blessing, And I am the blessed person. And I would also like to share one story which I come to know about that is the important of donating water in rukmani mata temple give the fruits of moksha. And history says that Rukmani Mata the Queen of Dwarka and the mother of the Dwarka. Durvasa Rishi curse that the Dwaraka water will be the Salty so out of the love and being the queen of Dwarka she bless that place where Durvasa Rishi curse her, whoever donate water in her temple after getting her Darshan will get Vaikunth dham and also their ancestors will get moksha. And whoever drink water in Rukmini temple as a Prasad is believed to equal the drinking of Amrita and they enjoyed all the happiness which exist in this world and after this world they will get the Anant vaikunthdham where Dwarkadhishvishnu ji live with her.

Temple is very beautiful. The road to reach here is a bit dirty with lots of waste thrown around. Temple is very less crowded. Parking is good. A must visit place in dwarka.

Located 4km far from the dwarkadish temple. Dedicated to rukmini mata, wife of srikrishna.when krishna got married with rukmini mata, they have invited durvasav saint for the feast.he asked the couple to ride the cart instead of horse.when rukmini mata felt thirst, she asked for water to krishna.krishna brought ganga river through his toes and she drunk the water. They haven't asked the permission to have water and durvasa felt angry and cursed them to be separated for 12 years. After 12 years they have rejoined and got blessings from durvasa. Thus says the story. Thats why dwarka temple and rukmini temple located a few distance apart.

Place is really peaceful and serene.

Nowhere else do we come across a temple devoted solely to Rukmani Devi and thereby the temple is unique in importance. The architecture is also very beautiful. The natural beauty of the place is captivating too.

दुर्वासा ऋषि को भगवान कृष्ण और रुक्मिणी देवी रथ में बिठाकर महल ले जा रहे थे। बीच रास्ते में प्यास लगनेपर कृष्ण ने पैर के अंगूठे से भूमि से पानी प्रकट किया और माता रुक्मिणी की प्यास बुझाई पर दुर्वासा ऋषि को पानी के लिए नहीं पूछा। क्रोधित होके दुर्वासा ऋषि ने श्राप दिया कि १२ साल तक वो एक दूसरे से अलग हो जाएंगे। रुक्मिणी माता भगवान कृष्ण से दूर अलग जा बसी। ये वही का मंदिर है।

The temple is very beautiful to see. Temple situated in middle side of desert. You can go by private car. Beside the temple premises you can get milk of camel. I love this temple the hand crafts are very good.

Very old historical temple of Ma Rukmani. There is story of Lord Krishna and Rukmini. Duvarsha rushi had given curse to Rukmini that she will not be able to stay with lord Krishna and had to stay at this place as Rukmini maa had drink water produced by lord Krishna's thumb even after it was not allowed by Muni Durvasa.

This place is actually drowned in water when we have high tide and rainy season. Not exactly drowned but sea water comes and there is a lot of fish smell around

Location

The temple is about 2 km from the historic temple of Dwarka on the coast of Saurashtra in Gujarat, Western India. It can be reached by hiring a rickshaw or just taking a walk from the main temple. In order to reach Dwarka, you can take a train from Ahmedabad to Jamnagar and travel by road. You can just as well fly into Jamnagar airport.

The Rukmini Devi Temple is however dedicated to the memory of Lord Sri Krishna and his consort, Lady Rukmini Devi. It is said that this is the very place where Lord Sri Krishna and Lady Rukmini Devi tied the knot of holy matrimony.

The story behind this marriage is quite an interesting one because Lord Sri Krishna actually fled with the bride to be Lady Rukmini Devi against the wish of the bride’s family. It is not too far away from the truth when we say that Lord Sri Krishna was quite the romantic god incarnate. Jokes apart, the temple is a symbolic replica of the main Dwarakadhish Temple of Dwarka. The spire and the temple complex have architectural and portrayals similarities with the significant western temple of the divine Char Dham temple circuit.

This temple is located way from the main temple on the coast. There is also another story. According to legend, it was due to the curse of Durbasa Sage that Lady Rukmini Devi could never stand beside Lord Sri Krishna. Hence the temple was built just a wee bit away from Lord Sri Krishna’s Dwarakadhish Temple. The temple has a marvelous four armed idol of Lady Rukmini and is very serenely spiritual.

Very ouspicious temple, as per mithology devotee must visit rukmani temple after complition of Dwarkadhis Darsanam. On the bank of Gomati river. Temple is under ASI, ie. Archilogy sarve of India.

A must visit place whenever you visit Dwarkadhish temple, there is a bus operated by Municipal Cooperation of Dwarka which takes you on a tour of the Dwarka and it's nearby places like Rukmani temple, Nageshwar jyotirlinga, Gopi talav and Okha

This temple is near to dwarkadhis temple approx 15-20min via bus or any vehicle.if you have to comple your dwarka darshan first you have to take darshan of dwarkadhish temple and after that you have to come for darshan Rukhmani Devi temple.
