सात कमान चंपानेर पावागढ़ पुरातत्व पार्क गुजरात भारत।

वास्तुकला के ये अद्भुत नमूने आज विश्व धरोहर हैं और पुरातत्व विभाग यानी एएसआई द्वारा इनका रखरखाव किया जाता है। चंपानेर से पावागढ़ के रास्ते में सात कमान नामक यह स्मारक स्थित है।

यह राष्ट्रीय महत्व का संरक्षित स्मारक है। सात कमान का मतलब सात मेहराब हैं जो पत्थरों से बने हैं, जिनमें से एक खो गया है। यह स्थापत्य स्मारक अद्भुत कारीगरी का नमूना है। पत्थरों को इस तरह से काटा गया है कि वे न तो वर्गाकार हैं और न ही आयताकार, एक-दूसरे से जुड़ते रहे हैं। दो पत्थरों के बीच गारे का प्रयोग भी लगभग नहीं के बराबर हुआ है। और ये पत्थर खूबसूरत मेहराब के रूप में खड़े हैं। मुख्य पत्थर का आकार एक पच्चर के समान शीर्ष पर चौड़ा और नीचे संकीर्ण है, जो एक कुंजी पत्थर है। किले की आयताकार दीवारों और बड़े-बड़े आलों के बीच खिड़कियों का स्वरूप मेहराब के आकार का है। यहां से आसपास के इलाके का नजारा बेहद खूबसूरत दिखता है। नीचे विरासत वन का सुंदर दृश्य मनमोहक है। पास ही एक महल के अवशेष हैं जो जमीन में धँसे हुए प्रतीत होते हैं। यह पावागढ़ के सद्दान शाह और बुढ़िया गेट के बीच निचली पहाड़ी के किनारे पर स्थित है।

Saat Kaman is a prominent structure situated on the verge of a hill on the southern tip of Champaner (Pavagadh). Saat Kaman means seven arches.

It's heritage site. Right now, there is restoration work going on. That is a good step by the government.

A short 15 mins visit while driving downhill from pavagadh temple. Beautiful arches. Must visit. Restoration was going on when we visited.

Best place.the view from satkaman is really good.if u r nature lover than must visit.it's totally historical place.

This place is god for Architecture and History lovers. There was some changes made by Government for public is good like roads are 4 tracks, initiate clean environment program unfortunately some people don't like clean places and don't support cleanliness program.

Nice tourist attractions place.near pavagadh maa kaali Temple.road.beautiful in the rainy season.also need here well experience drivers.do not drink and drive here.and must care full.

The fort in Pavagadh has several gates on all directions. Close to one of of the gates on the Western side is Sat Kaman or the 7 arches. This is up on the hill just 4 kms from the base of the hill. This area is part of the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park.

This arches are built using local sandstone. The individual stones used to build the arches are trapezium shaped, and when they are assembled together they form an arch. The topmost stone in the arch is wedge shaped.

They were built somewhere between 15th and 16th century. At Present out of the 7 arches only 6 arches are remaining as one has been lost to the fury of nature over the period of time.

Fantastic historic structure. It is having seven arches, I hence the name is given Sat kaman- સાત કમાન These arches are constructed without any binding material like cement, lime. That is speacility of construction of these arches.

It's a fabulous place for tourist in champaner at pavagadh, gujarat. It's a good stop for photo shooting.

Very beautiful small monument on the way to pavagad hills rope way. This is very nice place, good phot point, you can see glimpses of Pavagad town & nice valley with lot of trees. One should stop for 10 mins on the way & give justice to this nice monument, many advertises of Hon. PM Narendra Modiji with this monument on backdrop are displayed in this area

A place where you explore the beauty of nature in early morning very amazing and the atmosphere of that is nowhere else.

A calm and peaceful place, i enjoyed it because there was no one.great scene from the top. The Archaeological structures are also very interesting

OMG view nd place as well. And recently government upgrade this place is too good. If u find place near Vadodara to hangout sooo this is the spot. Whole Pavagadh including saatkaman is one best place.

Champaner is a heritage site which has about 3-4 attractions. A mosque, kabutarkhana, satkaman, etc. I liked the place and photography enthusiasts can visit it.

Superb place, the one who visiting pacagadh must have to visit this place. You can click awesome photos here. Too many people come here for pre-wedding photo shoot. Its one of the best place in Gujarat near pavagadh.

This is one the best tourist visiting place in Halol district in Vadodara. From railway station it is 50km around. You can easily find buses from bus stand. It takes around 1 hour to reach. Another mode of transportation is Cab or a self drive car, it takes 40 to 45 mins to reach to this destination.

From down hill if you have arrived by bus you can hire a shared cab or you can go by trekking which will take 1.5 hours

This place is amazing to view sunrise and also it is amazing to do your pre wedding photo shoots.
I will surely recommend to visit this place if you are in an around Vadodara.

A good historical place. I hope it should be preserved well for the coming generations and we should not litter here and there and keep it clean.

Historical place. When this area is completed, I hope it's something amazing and a great place to visit. And hope the govt keeps commercialization as limited as possible.
We only had half a day to spend in the area but would like to go back in a couple years and explore more.
