This is very nice place for morning walk, excercise. At morning n at night there is very atmosphere. For children there is also play garden, there is availability of water n urinary.

At night there was no traffic and a good air index but, in the afternoon there is so much traffic.

You may get the full view of river front. Clean and well maintained facility. Usually opensbat 9 am.

Its okay place, its new so its look good. But i have seen garbage in river smelling, also cleaning is not done properly on pathway beside river. Soon this place will be very dirty.

Beautiful place. Extraordinary to visit if you are a nature lover or a couple committed. The best time is to visit in monsoon and rainy as you will witness the beauty of the nature and the river as well. There are many halts but Suggested place is near usmanpura. You have a great park and view at usmanpura stop.

Though the place is visually pleasing, the river water is like sewage. It stinks and badly polluted. You can even spot dead fishes floating.

Sabarmati is the only river which has been decorated in this manner in the entire country. Waterfront on the Banks of River Sabarmati i.e RIVERFRONT is beautiful place in Ahmedabad I use to spend lot of time cycling there when ever I go there. Bicycle is available on rent for hourly basis, one can have a beautiful ride on the bank of river with a stretch of 11 km. There are few Gardens on the Banks where family time can be spent. My sister's house is just beside the river. The view from there in the night is mesmerising. Lightings in the night is awesome. The best part is every festival is celebrated on this bank mainly Utran, kite show use to commence on this Eve. If you visit Ahmedabad this should be first place as per me to visit.

You must visit it although not in summer as you will not be able to bear the scorching heat it rains here.

Riverfront of sabarmati is awesome. People used to come here and sit on the stairs which is situated on the bank of sabarmati and feel the peace. In interval of 10-15 minutes you can see the plane which is just took off from airport which may give awesome views for photographers

Waterfront developed along the banks of sabarmati river in ahmedabad. It is also being developed as water sports and adventure centre in Ahmedabad. Gardens have been developed on both the side of riverfront. The view of riverfront in morning is mesmerising and is a good place for morning walk, exercise and workout.

It is really nice. You can connect with nature in the morning. There is a lot of things you can do, I rented a cycle and went for cycling. It was fun.

The average width of the river channel was 382 metres (1,253 ft) and the narrowest cross-section 330 metres (1,080 ft). It is uniformly narrowed to 263 metres (863 ft) without affecting its flood carrying capacity and the riverbed land is reclaimed on the both east and west banks to construct 11.25 km long riverfront. It can hold 470,000 cu ft/s (13,000 m3/s) without spillage. The total of 202.79 hectares of land is reclaimed. The reclaimed land is used for public as well as private development. More than 85% of the reclaimed land will be used for public infrastructure, recreational parks, sports facilities and gardens while nearly 14% will be used for commercial and residential purpose.

Nearly 26% of the reclaimed land will be used for the parks and gardens to enhance environment and for public recreation. Some parks are already constructed and expanded while others are under construction and proposed
