We came here from indore for the surgery which was done by Dr. Margi Atul Shah. The surgery was successfully done. The staff was also very helpful, cooperative and friendly and we did not face any problem. They used to come to the room and check the patient frequently. Just Visited For medicine. Haven't sufficient cash to buy medicine and there was no any facility to pay digital payment. In emergency, how can person manage cash in midnight. They must have facility to accept payment other than cash.

I went to Sal hospital for my sister Laxmi. She was counselled well by Dr Shachi Joshi, a gynaecologist. She is the first doctor who explained everything so well and both me and my sister will continue care with Sal hospital. Staff was also helpful.

Registry takes long time, no single window system for registration as there are different registration places for different specialists. Though it is a hospital recognized as multispeciality hospital by CGHS, this hospital does not facilitate cashless service to pensioners, though it is one of the facilities extended to Cental Govt Pensioners. This puts pensioners in odd situation on counters. Long waiting period for specialists to come to their chambers. No attendant can surely reply about time of coming of specialist in the chamber.
Very bad service and no one takes responsibility. If you are admitting your elders and if you are not allowed to stay, then no one looks after them and they are left unattended.
I would recommend not to get admit here unless it is your last choice

DO NOT GO to SAL HOSPITAL if you love your loved once, my loved once case was under critical specialist he is inhouse doctor and he dont know anything, he is in this hospital since 20 years more or less, he is like permanent employee there, he gave over doses of idk which medicines, kept in ICU for like many days and gave BED SORES (4 stage) he made the patient paralys, he have no experience of critical patient, staff is so pathetic they just beg for tip wether its brother or sister or wardboy, ICU is supposed to be silent and hygienic, nothing is maintained there, these people almost killed our patient. . i know this review doesnt matter to anyone, but please understand the seriousness, if u are facing any medical problems please get a good doctor first and then choose hospital wisely, do not make the mistake that we did by admitting here.shame on critical specialist and icu doctors, you are supposed to save lives, i know its in gods hand but atleast give a TRY, its all about money may u guys suffer the way my loved once is suffering from years.
Careless staff and careless people. My mother was admitted for COVID on day one they asked me to sign the declaration which was mandatory for admission of the patient. The charges are too high and services are not appropriate. It's just a Profit making business now. Also doctor visiting once has charged two times. Moreover, the nursing staff behaviour not appropriate. PRO not taking calls. They are charging equal to other big hospitals but the services are poor. Further for the mediclaim it is asked us to come after 10 days, for their own payment they take in advance and for our payment from insurance company they ask us to come after 10 days.third class services ever. What Right do they owe for stopping our payment from insurance company. They never make us understand their terms and conditions.
I don't understand why they are not accepting cashless money from insurance company when insurance company is ready to give money? What is we don't have money to pay at that time? I need an answer for the same! And would like to bring to notice such rubbish behaviour and money more important than Saving someone's life! Do you guys have any humanity?

Best experience as one of my family member was admitted. Had serious symptoms of covid. Doctors team helped a lot to survive from covid, Treatments are very worthy. They personally do care every patient and ward boys, nurses are also care taking and talk with respect on phone calls. Food facilities are available on the time for patients. Rooms are very nice and clean. I don't know why these hospital has low and few ratings may be other departments are not good but For Covid treatment i give 10/10.

Frankly when we were offered to undergo Laparoscopic surgery for my wife at SAL, I was sceptical and a bit scared. On the first visit, it looked like a typical professionally run hospital and also being a Covid hospital, we were not sure about it.
Our doctor: Dr. Supriya Rajiv Dalal, assured us that the systems are perfectly in place and on her word we opted for it. I think Dr. Supriya is not only a very competent gynecologist but a very concerned human being who thinks about and also for the patients. We thank her and the whole team including Dr Vakil, the anesthetist and other support staff at the hospital.
Yes, due to Covid situation, it is natural to get scared but I must honestly say that the experience was made comforting and more than tolerable by the medical and the support staff at the hospital. I must mention that the cashless insurance and the billing process also went quite smoothly and overall experience was much better than we anticipated.
Can't thank them enough, whilst the period of covid-19 when hospital was almost packed they managed to get my grandmother a room within minutes, much appreciate the efforts the team puts in! Super Compliant staff!
The staff of the admission desk of Sal Hospital talk so badly to the relatives of the patient and do not help anyone and even the nursing staff do not pay any attention to the patient and wake up inside and do not listen to the patient or the patient's relatives.

I'm suffering from watering in right side eye since birth. As per previous doctor consult i have treated by endoscopy operation in two times but not relief then I consulted in SAL hospital ahmadabad under reference of Dr manish nemichand goyal and his done again revesion of endoscopy DCR operation resulting better results with good response. I would a lot thanks to Dr manish nemichand goyal for doing best ENT related treatment and good advise to me.
Don't go to this hospital, this hospital's doctors and staff doesn't have any moral values and professionalism. One of the my cousin had kidney stone removal operation there, operation was unsuccessful and that cause damage on kidney. After this instead of sharing actual thing and further treatment entire hospital was hiding this that was near to life and death case.
We as a patient had the worst experience in this hospital the one who got admitted was facing lot of trouble as there was lack of management.we had to call nurses for multiple times but they were not at all careful. And not only that they were so careless about my mother condition that my mother fell from stretcher during her discharge by the hospital staff.how can they be so careless and because of that she has to extend her bed rest I would never recommend this hospital.
The hospital is really great. My grandfather had an operation done here and under the M. A card scheme, they treated him for free. The doctors and nurses are really helpful and polite. They are a bit strict about the procedures and time but that's understandable as there are a lot of patients in need all the time at this place.
Poor administration, for heart attack they made four files, for each file they charge Rs. 1000/-. One person from family needed just to run here and there through out the day in the hospital just for collecting papers from different departments and file, yes just like government departments. And once you done with bargaining, (yes surprisingly huge scope for bargaining for everyone), make them write the final price as they may give different bill and that paper might come handy. Hope they improve it, people come come in stress and this does nothing but increase the stress each and every hour.
The Surgeon here are well experienced and have nice team of professionals. Nicely guided under the observation of Anil Jain. You might experience worst living standards as there are insects beneath the sofa and furniture is also obsolete.
This Hospital is one of the biggest in Ahmedabad city in west Area. The hospital cures many diseses and speciality also. It is named as General Hospital but speciality and particularly cardiatic surgeon is good here. Now the traffic problem is much and it will be more due to metro work. The outsiders and visitors have to fetch the permission card to enter. Food is costly here.
Everybody is very friendly, room clean and comfortable. Everything is discussed with you so you are in the loop at all times. Nurse who booked me in was lovely and put me at ease about my stay.
