I recently visited the Surat Science Center and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The center offers a wide range of interactive exhibits and displays that cater to all ages. From hands-on experiments to informative displays on various scientific topics, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The staff at the center were friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to answer any questions and provide additional information. The center also offers educational programs and workshops, making it a great destination for school field trips or family outings.

Overall, the Surat Science Center is a fantastic place to learn and explore the wonders of science. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Only one thing they have to upgrade is to their 3D setup! As compared to other aspects 3D is horrible & vahiyat

Nice place for children to learn about space. Even elders will learn a lot. Well maintained. Free Parking available. Wheel chair accessible from road side. Life door is there in basement parking but lift facility starts from ground floor. Clean washrooms. Drinking water available. Much less crowd so easy to see everything.

Not personally visited but yes as per relative reviews it is the reflection of hard work. And good place to spend weekend.

Nice place but can be managed better. Especially the attitude of people managing it is pathetic. Typical goverment style - hota hai chalta hai. It can be a good tourism point. But not being managed professionally. The items in display are not functional. The planetarium is supposed to working only on specific times. Though while buying tickets online it is not mentioned. The specific time is decided by the mood of the person who runs it. Pathetic.

What’s not to love about a place that has so much enlightenment to offer. Home to a fabulous planetarium that hots 3D as well as 4D shows, the Science Center and Science Museum is simply incredible. There are various shows with varying themes, depending on the time of the week youare visiting. Nevertheless, all shows are highly educative, thus making it a great place to take the kids to. The fact that is a multi-facility complex elevates its allure. However, the science centre is the main part of this complex. There is a Fun Science Gallery that hosts various informative exhibits. Specially dedicated galleries of space, diamond and textile remain the main draw of this museum.and so beautiful to science center.

Good place for kids. Can easily spend 3-4 hrs. But few areas need to be maintained bell like science experiments area and washrooms. No water even in washrooms. 3 D show, planataurium show is also worth watching. Museums are also good to visit. All in all, good place I would say to visit on weekend during weekend.

They have planetarium with shows, science gallery with fascinating theories explained logically and simple language and made entertaining to the crowd, 3 D shows, diamond gallery explaining facts about diamonds their polishing techniques and the instruments used for it. The third floor has both diamond gallery and space center beautifully presenting some models and historical facts in space research.
You would atleast half a day to spend their to read and understand the facts and enjoy your time.overall loved the place and all the galleries are well maintained.

Science Centre forms the main part of the entire complex; it displays thematic galleries in the field of Science and Technology. The ground floor of Science Centre showcases 3D Theater, first floor of Science Centre showcases Fun Science Exhibits and second floor of Science Centre showcases Diamond Gallery where as Entering into Space, Textile gallery, Power of Play, Cosmos Gallery and Polar Science Gallery are under development

The Fun Science Gallery is located on the first floor of the Science Centre. It showcases the Scientific Principles with fun. There are more than 50 exhibits displayed in this Gallery which are based on different principles of Science like Newton’s laws, Bernoulli's Principle, Principles of optics, Electromagnetic Induction, etc. These exhibits simplify and explains the scientific principles by showing the actual applicability. Students/Visitors can operate it and can learn these scientific principles by involving themselves in the experiment.

The 3D theatre and planetarium are the most worst.

Wonderful planetarium. Really a great place to view and experience a thrilling and amazing view of the galaxy and stars.

It's a very very terrible place, very badly maintained, looks like an ugly local market. There's hardly anything to enjoy and learn. The fee is exorbitantly high, no safety measures taken, 3D show is the worst I've experienced ever because there's no 3D at all. A place like this at the center of the city is expected to be better, this is terrible. Huge disappointment. Please invest your time and money somewhere else.

Amazing Museum. Must visit for anyone in Surat. There is an awesome Planetarium, a fun science magic, an interesting museum and a nice short movie on Surat is also shown. You won't regret your decision to come here.

Very for curious kids and adults. It's all about pure science.fun with science.
Rennovation work is going on. Post renovation it would be awesome place to visit with friends and family.

A huge good quality auditorium, place to stimulate the scientific temper in children. Situated on the main road of City Light. A positive Sunday outing for children.

Science Centre, Surat is a multi-facility complex in Surat,  Gujarat,  India built by the Surat Municipal Corporation in 2009, the first of its type in western India. The complex houses a Science Centre, museum, an art gallery, an auditorium, an Amphitheatre and a planetarium. It has been designed by Ahmedabad based architectural firm, HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt. Ltd.
The complex covers a total area of 21,800 sq.m. And was built at the cost of ₹ 50.24 crores. It has underground parking facility for 112 four-wheelers and 210 two-wheelers. It has two 400 tonne vapor absorption chiller plants for air conditioning. The complex also houses a rooftop solar power plant which generates about 1.14 lakh KW of power. In addition, the complex also houses a restaurant.

In its first three months of opening, the Science Centre had nearly 30,000 visitors.

Science centre is the place must to go. I swear you will enjoy there. You need almost 3-4 hr to see the whole science centre, you can go on a Sunday so your Sunday will not go boring. Trust me it's the place must to go.

Nice place for visit this place. This place is child friendly. Many of things have to watch for the people. I enjoyed at this place. Wonderful experience. I like the musem of this science center. Their collection are so good. Waiting lobby is also there at outsde with decorated many types of design. Entry fare are also maintain. I like most in this science center is planeroriun.which is very huge.before this i have never seen this planetorium. Muncipal corporaton of surat makes this beautiful.and child friendly.

A good place for kids and adults both. Kids aged between 4 years to 12 years get to see and learn about science through practical examples. There is a planetarium which shows 20 min movies about science. This place also has a museum. The charges are around total ₹250- ₹300 approximately for all the exhibits. One needs around 3 hours to properly explore this place located in the heart of the city. There is a restaurant also here where you can savor tasty food.

It was a wonderful experience to visit the science center. There are practical setups to understand scientific theories. E. G. Color effects, Magnetic effects, Sounds effects etc
