It is One of the most important temple of ma ambaji! When MA Sati sacrificed their body and Shiva bhagwan took them in their hands. Ma sati's foot was dropped here. When you start the climbing you can see a statue of Shiva bhagwan holding ma sati in their hands. There are more than 1000 steps in the stairs. *Everybody should climb it through stairs it's not that hard*. Mandir is so beautiful. If you want to visit Ambaji Mandir.beware of the shopkeepers who stand on the circle and guide you towards free parking. There they make you park and then make you buy stuff from their own shops. Then, they rush you towards mandir giving some reasons and if you are a visitor, you will surely get caught in scheme. They tell you to pay after darshan and when you come back, they provide you a bill of hefty amounts. They sell 10 rupees stuff in 100 Rs. To save yourself just park somewhere near the main road, buy samagri from shops on outside and go for Darshan.
