Excellent architecture around 2000 or more years old even astonishing on current times. The mandir management team manages the mandir very well. Two separate lines for males and females in entry and for darshan. Mobile phones and bags are not allowed inside and can be submitted temporarily to the locker room with a nominal fee.

Temple is good but outside of corridor very dirty… food unhygienic too food shop owners are rude too…

Better to go for vip darshans if you can else you'll be stuck. 0 management for darshans

Mandir, aura, vibe everything is divine here. Temple itself is thousands of year old. Crowd management is not good. Two gates are there to avoid crowd please go through gomati river side gate. Less crowded after 5pm

Dwarkadheesh is a hindu temple dedicated to lord krishna, this temple is located at Dwarka city of gujarat india. This temple was built 2200 year ago by Krishna's grand son Vajranabha. This is also a part of char dham. There market was really fancy and too good. Prasad of shree dwarkadheesh maharaja is different kind of sweets and khurmas. This temple is fully made of sandy stone which is of five storey approx, and fully carving structure from down to up, that was on another level of structure.
There was a checking point before enter in the temple, seperate for ladies and gents. No any electronic devices like Cameras, digital watches, big bags or bagpacks were not allowed. Hand purse, wallet, normal watch and your valuable were allowed. There were many temple inside the boundary of shree dwarkadheesh temple. That was amazing temple, all of you have to definitely visit here.

Best place for Lord Krishna's devotees. It's tremendous. So energetic. Please visit sudama bridge and adjacent beach, opposite to Dwarkadhish temple. I stayed in The Dwarika hotel just 800 meters from main temple and has very good rooms and best restaurant in whole Dwarika even outside people use this restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Dwarka is believed to have been the first capital of Gujarat. [1] The city's name literally means gateway. [2] Dwarka has also been referred to throughout its history as "Mokshapuri", "Dwarkamati", and "Dwarkavati". [3] It is mentioned in the ancient prehistoric epic period of the Mahabharata. As per Hindu legend, Dwarka was built on a piece of land by Krishna and Radhathat was reclaimed from the sea. Sage Durvasa once visited Krishna and his wife Rukmini. The sage wished that the pair took him to their palace. The pair readily agreed and started walking with the sage to their palace. After some distance, Rukmini got tired and she requested some water from Krishna. Krishna dug a mythical hole that brought in river Ganga to the place. Sage Durvasa was furious and cursed Rukmini to remain in the place. The temple where Rukmini's shrine is found, is believed to the place where she stood. [8]

The town of Dwarka in Gujarat has a history that dates back centuries, and mentioned in the Mahabharat epic as the Dwaraka Kingdom. Situated on the banks of river Gomti, the town is described in legend as the capital of Krishna. Evidence such as a stone block with script, the way the stones were dressed showing that dowels had been used, and an examination of anchors found on the site suggest that the harbour site dates only to historical times, with some of the underwater structure being late Medieval. Coastal erosion was probably the cause of the destruction of what was an ancient port. [9]

Hindus believe that the original temple was constructed by Vajranabh, the great grand son of Krishna, over the residential palace of Krishna. It was destroyed by Sultan Mahmud Begada in 1472. [citation needed]

The current temple in Chaulukya style was constructed in 15-16th century. The temple covers area of 27-metre by 21-metre with east–west length of 29-metre and north–south width of 23 metres. The tallest peak of the temple is 51.8 m high. [citation needed]

Probably the most historic temple of our country. Try to visit the temple in the morning as early as possible, the vibes you are gonna feel in the morning is just can't be explained in words.

This ancient architecture is a pleasure to look at, and radiates positive vibes, people with all spiritual beliefs in religion will live this place and take away memories, as signified it was built by Bhagwan (God) Vishvakarma 5200 years ago! Have patience and be disciplined and be observant.

There was no cleanliness around the temple, in front of the temple parisar I.e. Food store, there was very dirty place, according to swachh Bharat Mission Dwarka town needs cleanliness.

Very bad experience, there is no system to see statue of God, police only setting side by and local person pushing every body. I think authority of this temple only concern for bhaidhe means money

Must visit for once, but you have to come with most of patients to visit here, i have faced below problems due to improper management.
1. Management is not proper for all the things.
2. No proper ques managed.
3. No guidelines.
4. All the lockers are full for Mobile, Wallet, keys, any accessories.
5.all the priest are looking for the money only.
6. You even can't take a proper look at lord Shree Krishna, it is not good, you have traveled so long distance and you can even take a glimpse of lord Krishna, this is not good.

Management is not good. Hard for old people and ladies for darshan.
No toilet no drinking water, no shade, pandit in side the temple takes inside only there devoters.

It is among the top places to visit in gujrat. Temple ambience is very good. It is an architectural beauty. Mobile phones are not allowed inside temple so it would be better if u leave that in your car/taxi.
