Good place to visit and there is a beach around the temple.
You are also offered with prasad of lunch near the time by the temple trust and it's delicious.

Everyone should visit this temple. Really, it's extraordinary and unimaginable - how old people organized this temple in such a way that Sea - Lord Varun Dev does Jalabhishek of Shree Stambheshwar Mahadev twice every day.

The temple submerges into the sea water because of tidal wave coming towards land. The view of temple when water comes and goes is awesome. You must take away the khoya Prasad from trust on the upstairs. There is Gujarati Dishes served for free from the trust.

It's a blessing to be there. Inner peace. Har Har Mahadev. Don't think, just experience a heavenly feeling.

સ્તંભેશ્વર મહાદેવ એ એક પૌરાણિક મહત્વ ધરાવતી જ્ગ્યા છે. અહી જ મહાદેવ પુત્ર મહારાજ કાર્તિકેય દ્વારા રાક્ષસ તારકાસુર નો વધ કરવા માં આવ્યો હતો.
લોક માન્યતા મુજબ શિવપુત્ર કાર્તિકેય દ્વારા તારકાસુરનો વધ થયો પરંતુ ત્યારબાદ તેમને એક શિવભક્તનો સંહાર કર્યાનું દુ: ખ થવા લાગ્યું તેના પ્રાયશ્ચિત રૂપે તેમણે શિવલિંગની સ્થાપના કરી અહીં વર્ષો સુધી તપ કર્યુ અને શિવજીને પ્રસન્ન કર્યા.

આ સ્થળ ને ગુપ્ત તીર્થ તરીકે પણ પૌરાણિક માન્યતા મળેલ છે. અહીંયા જ મહીસાગર નદી દરિયા ને મળે છે.
આ પૌરાણિક શિવલિંગ ની પૂજા કરવા સાક્ષાત દરિયદેવ દિવસ માં બે વખત આવે છે. આ ભરતી દરમિયાન મંદિર બંધ રહે છે.

પુરાણો માં પણ આ સ્થળ ની વાત આવે છે. મહારાજ કાર્તિકેય દ્વારા આ સ્થળ પર ભગવાન શિવ ના આ અદભૂત લિંગ ની સ્થાપના કરવા માં આવી હતી.
આ સ્થળ પર દિવસ માં બે વખત દરિયા દેવ ભગવાન શિવ ની પૂજા કરવા આવે છે.

Must visit place. Loved it. When sea water rises it slowly submerge Shivling totally. Loved watching it. Har har Mahadev.

Best place I have ever seen. You can only see pind in between 11-4 but it depends on days because rest time it's under water. Parking facility available. They also provide food for people between 11-3. Menu dal-rise and sabji.

Reminder:
This is definitely NOT a sea beach. It is gulf and all you have is fine sticky soil on the shore. There is no sand here and the water is shallow even you walk considerably into the waters.
This is a different place where in you can visit Shiva temple with the high tide pouring over the Linga.

God's place is too good. The scene of water level rising and covering temple is soothing. In short time water level rises. Though the complete cycle takes about 2 hours. You need to time the clock of moon to get this enchanting view.
