People come to your temple, behave well with them. You are kept there to serve the temple, not to insult people. If there is no room to stay at night, it will work, but don't insult people.
This mandir comes under the Narnarayan Dev Gadi. Senior devotees Gangarambhai jethi Sundarjibhai, Jigneshwarbhai and others from the Bhuj region of Kutch went to Gadhadawhere God Swaminarayan was attending a Fuldol festival. In that festival, the devotees of Bhuj met Swaminarayan and requested him to construct a temple in Bhuj. [3]
God Swaminarayan asked Vaishnavananand Swami to proceed with a team of the saints to Bhuj and construct a temple. Vaishnavanand Swami and the accompanying saints went to Bhuj in 1822, camped at the place neighbouring the land of temple drew plans of the temple, complex, executed the plans with minute details and within a short span of one year, they built a temple abode of NarNarayan Dev. [3]
This is one of the oldest Swaminarayan Temple in the world. The temple is huge and the marble architecture throughout the temple is fascinating. However, the people around here is bit orthodox. Even though must visit.

Nice and big temple of god shri Swaminarayan in bhuj. Many facilities are available like drinking water, seating arrangements for pilgrims, prashad ghar, car and two wheeler parking, toilets and also pilgrims can stay in night with very reasonable rate. Temple is very clean. Must visit place in bhuj.
A Divine place to be. The statue of Lord shree swaminarayan is kind of live. You can't get off your eyes. And the statue of Lord Nar Narayan dev is being planted by bare hands of Lord shree Swami narayan. So this place and this temple is blessed. And architectural beauty wise. The best in the business. One must visit this place. Once in lifetime. I m blessed that I m living just 10 mins walking distance from the place.
It is a very beautiful temple and is maintained very well. It has a huge compound which extends in all four directions. I loved how the local people come and sit in the compound for hours. The temple remains closed from 12noon to 3pm in the afternoon and then stays open till late at night. The walls of the temple tell stories from the life of Ram, Krishna, Hanuman through beautiful carvings. There are clean washrooms in the compound and rooms available for tourists as well
