Animal lovers - especially snake lovers may like the place. For me a waste of time and money

In the evening they have birds like ducks roaming in open space, so it is so much joy for kids to see those creatures from very little distance.
Ticket rate for minors is very high. Adult rs. 50 and minor rs. 40. I had to buy a ticket for my 2 year old daughter.

They have the snake show too, but it is so boring due to stretching it without any reason for much time.

One of the best place to see beauty of Nature in the middle of city. Place is now having a variety of birds, fish and reptiles. And is a place which teaches about the importance of Nature in our life.

The child play area here is pretty decent, and that's what makes it awesome for the kids! Plus, it's so much fun feeding the birds. If you're an animal lover, you'll totally enjoy this place. It's like being embraced by nature's lap - so nice! Although, there is room for improvement, especially in terms of cleanliness. But all in all, it's been an average experience. So, if you're in the mood for some outdoor fun with the little ones, give it a shot!

There are reptiles n birds to watch. A small aquarium passage. My 5 yr old enjoyed being here. They also had a snake show followed by a puppet show. The ticket price is 20/- n 10/- for adults n children. Their is also a small play area n park. They have different activities like nature trails, overnight camping, bird feeding on selective days for children. They have a parking space. We went on a Sunday evening, from 6 to 7p.m. N loved every bit of it.

It is more like a natural park than garden! Having very good enclosures for reptiles and birds. Also on Sundays at around 5.30pm they organise a snake show which is must visit for all. They educate us about various types of snakes which is quite good. You can see peacocks roaming around the garden which is quite a view!

Sundarone has some birds snakes and tortois. Trees are in good range. Good only if u have small kid.otherwise nothing.

The place is not well maintained.very dirty.bed smell of birds and animals.all birds infected.rabbits also infected.don't take your child to near them.

Nice place to visit with kids. It is near Isro and on the main road. Limited car parking available. Birds, crocodiles, python, peacocks are good to watch.

Sundarvan is one of the nice natural destination. Where different kind of birds and small insects are present and has a good atmosphere where one can feel peace and joy. It is a nice destination to talk with nature and worthy to spend time with children and families.

This place is ideal for young kids as they get to know about protection of wildlife and they also get exposed to flaura and faunna amidst urban jungle.

It is in the centre of the city next to ISRO but you will never able to feel that once you are in Sundarvan, it is surrounded by trees and you will able feel fresh air, the place is small but it is well organised.

You can easily spend 2-3 hours and likely more if u are planning to take your children.

Please check once because they often organized small activities for children so that it will be more beneficial to your child.

A small and nice zoo! There's nothing more I can say except that you should visit it, specifically with your kids if you have time when visiting Ahmedabad.

In the midst of this busy, sprawling western Ahmedabad, dotted by mushrooming malls and multiplexes, you may find your way into the nature discovery center, SUNDARVAN. As you walk gently around bamboo grooves and a banyan tree you might spot a tortoise blocking your way or a love bird humming away or even a snake skin resting by the pond. This natural refuge is indeed a mini zoo committed to spreading awareness and sensitivity towards nature. It is most known for the variety of snakes like Russel's viper, Red Sand boa and the revered Indian cobra. Every Sunday they have a snake show in their small amphitheater where the reptiles are removed from their cages. The center also gives its services to rescue snakes whenever they get calls from befuddled city residents. Other than snakes, the zoo also has a marsh crocodile, porcupine, a small aquarium and a bird section. But it is much more beautiful to see birds like pheasant crows flying freely and peacocks dancing away in this natural setting.

Beautiful, fun place to take your kids for an outing. Its a mini zoo with good lot of birds and animals. You can go for a nature trail as well.

Nice place to roam around with kids kids love this place a lot.you can take food with you to eat inside an even to feed the birds you can take some more murmura you can feed it to ducks over there. Cleanliness oh here is a little less so you will find it tidy. And carry water with you, you vl find any inside. Staff here is very much cooperative and don't miss the snake show here it is very nice and children love it.

Good place to visit in one day. You can feel natural peace here. You can find Bats, Turkey, Ducks, Fishes, Snakes, Peacocks, Rabbits, Tortoise and many other cretures here. The ticket rate is 20 INR.
Don't forget to visit the bird park which is just beside of animal park.

There was also a butterfly park, which is no more.

One of the beautiful and calm places in the heart of the city which has many species of snakes in it. You will also find some other domestic animals, crocodile (if you are lucky) and some birds. Personnel there take special care of the snakes. What is beautiful about that place is that you cross that road a 1000 times and you will not know that there is this huge green cover inside with such amazing wildlife. And when you are inside you will never know that there is such a busy road just outside. When we used to go there as kids they also used to have a snake show in the evening. Still many school organizes some or the other painting competition there. Really a nice place to take your younger ones.
