Say It neelkant Dham or Poicha Mandir or Swaminarayan poicha mandir all are same.
It is masterpiece of architecture designs. Superb Mandir built in middle of water canal…many activities are also there like boating, adventure zone…Everything is superb…you can enjoy good food too at reasonable price here.
Must visit while travelling to statue of unity.

The Swaminarayan Temple is wide spread and beautiful. It has a spectacular architecture and beautifully decorated and really well maintained. It was really fascinating and amazing. It’s a must visit place for those who are visiting SOU.

A good religious place which showcases our gurus, our culture, values and it is a place where youngsters get to know about our dharma and its importance.

Excellent experience like Devlok. Must visit for over night stay at the temple hotel staying facility with very reasonable charges and food. 5 star

It's Swaminarayan temple. Huge and Beautiful. There is a park (museum) near it approx Rs 200 per adult and Rs 120 per kid fee for museum. For temple no fee. One can spend half day here. Approx 25 km away from Ektanagar Railway station, in hour drive. Food is available at nominal price. Jai Swaminarayan bhagwan ki jai.

This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained temple you will ever see. The compound is big and clean. Must visit if you are going to Statue of Unity.

Nilkanthdham is an eye-catching, fantabulous and spectacular temple. At the same time, It is oozing with spirituality and divine vibes all in the air.

Every single stone is an attention grabber here. The scenery amidst which the temple is situated is magnificent. Holy waters of river Narmada, labyrinths of mountains, varieties of flora and fauna, lush and green gardens, hills and valleys, grassy grounds, fragrant flowering plants and what not!

Furthermore, varieties of recreational activity points. Gigantic Sahajanand universe (Magnificent Cultural Exhibition - Timing is 1: 00 pm to 7: 00 pm), Swimming pool, Nauka-vihar (Ticket - Rs. 40 adult and Rs. 20 for kids), walkway, Horror House, Audio-visual 3D show, Enjoy park enriching with thrilling rides etc.

Best way to reach Poicha, Nilkanth Dham is the car. Its 40km from the statue of Unity towards Vadodara. While Vadodara to Poicha is 65 km. So you can plan accordingly.

Mesmerizing, beautiful and i would love to visit again. Gujarat is surprisingly beautiful. Love the vibe and ao so heart touching environment.

DISGUSTING TREATMENT OF ELEPHANT.

During the aarti the elephant is brought out and BEAT. The priest hits the elephant and causes the animal pain for the sake of aarti. This is a SIN. Animals should be treated with respect, Hinduism teaches equality of EVERY SOUL including animals. The temple is beautiful but the animal welfare is HORRENDOUS. If they beat the elephant during the aarti, imagine how much they must harm the elephant behind closed doors. I have emailed and tried to get in contact with the temple but have had no response. Anyone going to the temple should be raising this as a issue because it is truly disgusting to torture an animal in the name of religion. Nothing can warrant the disgusting treatment of the animals regardless of how beautiful the temple is.
