Overrated! I tried many times but somehow I hv never liked this place and the cutlery they use is yellow plastic I find it extreamly cheap and food is also Okok Nothing great
It's one of the best food joints in Ahmedabad. From authentic tasting traditional dishes to their evergreen Pau bhaji, everything is a must have. Oh and don't forget to have their sugarcane juice to wash down their lip smacking food! Swati is my absolute favourite.
At 430pm the queue outside on a Monday working day was 15min long. At 2pm the queue was for 40min. So it’s a very popular place which means congested cramped super fast service and you can’t eat in peace as there is constant peer pressure to finish fast. The dishes are amazing taste wise. Place is bit pricy. Dishes are unique too. I asked the queue manager to suggest me best 4 dishes and he sent all to our table within 2min of seating! So I don’t know the names but they tasted good.
Nice, clean, hygienic place for trying authentic local cuisines. Panki chutney being the speciality here. Definitely overpriced. May be because of the name and fame overtime.
Very good food and good service. It's a little costly but the quick smiling service and the fresh hot delicious food makes it a good value for money. It's also clean and very well maintained. Special mention for Panki Chatni and Handvo.
Perfect patra, thankfully not laden with sauce or sweet! Coconut punch was a refreshing surprise! Dabeli light and tasty and the Panki chutney was really good too. Only drawback - Undiyu - taste and portion size couldve been better.
It was a good experience, having delicious snacks. The place is neat and tidy and staff courteous. They should have one more washing room because the queue sometimes is long.
Swati Snacks has good taste, especially Gujarati food. Menu is limited but worth trying. Seating space is limited, so during peak hours one might have to wait a little outside. Parking is available. Service is swift. Panki was yummy. Satpadi Roti and Besan Gatta Saag was decent. The only thing that bothered me was the price for 1 glass sugarcane juice which was Rs. 160, which is simply insane. Rest was decently priced according to taste. Cleanliness is also well maintained.
Super taste. Excellent customer service. Unexpectedly Bill was showing for one unordered item which I saw after going home. They refunded immediately once this came to their notice.
Wonderful place. Good authentic place to taste good food. Yes just good food. That's it. Not a place to hangout and spend time. Generally full, go only if your priority is just having good and authentic Gujarati food. Hygienic. You can definitely take your outstation guests for Gujarati food. Bit on the expensive side.
A must visit place for people who want to taste authentic gujarati food. A place for people who assumes that gujrati foods are sweet. A bit on costly side but worth every penny. Also best service in a restaurant i have ever seen in gujarat. Each and every staff had a complete knowledge of food and you can just rely on them for there recommendation. Thanks team @swati snacks for this experience. Will soon visit again.
Taste wise super.variety is less but quite ok.service is quick, ambience is good. Love the food COst wise it is pretty expensive.a glass of buttermilk is Rs 180. -. Portions are quite small.just enough for one person
This was my 2nd visit to Swati Snacks. This place needs to recommendations given the quality of food the serve and for the polite staff they have. We had patni ki chatni, ragda patties and thalipith. All dishes were good in taste, not too spicy, not too bland. Place is clean and service is prompt. Only issue is place is little costly. 3 dish costed us 722 rupees for 2 people.
Whenever my inner Ambani wakes up, I head to this place. One of the favourite place since childhood. They are hell as costly but clean as heavenly, which can be the reason for me to head this place often. Panki is starter any day, rest of the time you choose to order and it won’t disappoint you.
Excellent taste. The prices are high and menu is limited but they provide good quantity for the price and taste is memorable. Do try their masala chai and panki.
For all those tired of sweet & semi-sweet Gujarati dishes, please try the following items - Bedai roti, satpadi roti, panki chatni, chola methi dholka (must try).
Must visit place. Easy to locate and has parking outside. Prices tend to a bit on the higher sode but worth the money. Courteous staff who helped us select from a wide range of dishes!
Must try quick traditional food place in center of Ahmedabad. Pocket friendly prices for everything you wish to have in streets but cant due to hygiene reasons. Quick service and cleanliness.
Quality is swati they showed miser behaviour in giving extra curd but forgive them as they overreact as too professionals but its quality food which makes me go there
Very good place in ahmedabad to get delicious gujarati foods. I really loved it. Each item has unique and identical taste. Everytime you will get the same taste. Also place is very neat, clean and hygienic. Staff members are really good in nature and provides quick service.
This restaurant is very good for lunch and evening snacks. Restaurant is very neat and clean. The staff is very well trained and service is also very fast. I tried their panki chatni it was good. It’s one of the best restaurants in Ahmedabad.
Authentic food which most of the people forget which was cooked before two generations. Their waiting lounge have sparkling cool water, so you will be comfortable while waiting too. Perfect taste.but parking is the issue here.
I think because of the hype of the place and the status that it has achieved in the market, staff serving has lost the courtesy and the right attitude towards customers! I’ve been to this place a lot of times. Trust me just order in. Rather than going there in so much heat and experiencing this bad attitude.
Famous Bombay based gujarati / Maharashtrian food chain. Somewhat expensive. Some of the famous dishes are Panaki, Thalipith with Pithlu etc. Centrally located near Law garden in Ahmedabad. Usually crowded during Sunday's and holidays. Preferably to book the table during those days. Also can call them for preparing parcels which can be collected when ready.
Despite the food and service being good, it's on the pricey side. It's not that great if price and the quantity of food provided is taken into consideration
This place is must to go. Though i discovered little late but cleanliness of this restaurant beats all the records. Food is very good. Everything is perfect just the price of food is on higher side.

Good food but too expensive. The money charged is not proportionate to the quantity of the items. Also the restaurant ambience is not that great and cozy.
Great very precise and compact menu with all variety required to have all one need in terms of quality and quantity. Best is badeli roti, shrikhand, dal bati and all of it. One must also try coconut punch. Must visit place to have special test of food at one of the most visited places of Ahmedabad i.e law garden.
The place has lot of varieties. Very nearly maintained. Staff is friendly. I enjoyed eating panki chatni, baked masala kichdi. Gujurathi dishes are mouth watering here but same does not hold good for maharashtrian dishes. We ordered sabudhana kichdi and shrikand. They were good but not authentic maharashtrian. So I would order only gujurathi dishes here.
Awesome place with #lipsmacking food.had heard about it so went there n tried Bajra Uttpam n Panki Chutney served with green chutney and was steamed wrapped in banana leaves. Was a very thin layer of a rice pan cake.both with superb in taste. For sweet we had sukhri which was a barfi made with flour. Jaggery n ghee and served hot.was yummilicious. Place is a neat basic outlet where focus is on authentic regional traditional food of Gujarat.
Great proper Gujarati varieties to enjoy Start to Sweet options.very hygienic.but can't accommodate more than 70 to 100 people at a Time. So always have Waiting people outside But really great food
As a newbie to gujju food, I found the panki, thalipeeth, Bajra khichu, dabeli and patra delightful. In fact the food was so good, made two trips to the restaurant during my short visit to Amdavad. But it does seem to get busy, so keep in mind that you might get slow service or mixed orders!
Very delicious food options available, quality food, special dishes also available. If you visit ahmedabad then once test the gujarati food at swati snacks.
Good selection of food and dessert. Frequented by local and international tourists and wait staff provided good recommendations in English. Slightly pricy by local standards but a good option near the law garden area
Another favourite haunt at Ahmedabad. Vegetarian delights that tickle the palate.on some days you might find a long waiting queue.its very popular with discerning locals
Casual dining place, centrally located. Had Bajri Uttapam, Panki Chatni. Rice pan cakes served with green chuney and green chillies. Sukhadi.a traditional sweet dish, for the dessert.awesome food
You fall in love again and again at this place.i mean every visit to this place brings some good memories with good fooding options. We simply love this place.
Authentic Gujju food with fantastic service. The quantity provided for each dish is comparatively less but the food is amazing also I recommend having the baked Khichdi and dholkas one the the best and most served dishes. The ground floor of the restaurant is served by a visible kitchen and has a busy feel with a view of the lively street scene. The unique steel spaceframe structure defines the contemporary character of the restaurant. The dining area located on the first floor has a colourful and relaxed look, and offers a slower paced dining experience.
