Taste was not worth the price. Hotel should focus on quality of main food items not quantity.

We are 12 friends had lunch over there but none of them is happy with ambiance, too much noise. Taste of the food was delicious as they are famous for this but cleanliness and hygiene issues. Best for Gujarati thali.

Love this place. And sure to visit it again. Food is yummie. And the service is just awesome

If you want to take a sick leave than go for dinner in "The grand thakar" and you will be suffering from vomiting and loose motion.

If you are looking for a combination of Gujarati and Punjabi food this is the perfect place. The variety of food items in just one thali is amazing. The service is amazing. Food is above average. And basundi was great

Their Parcel department is very careless. Experience my order deliver to someone and it's resulted into my family is not getting food. Apart from that he doesn't have a courtesy to speak the truth. Very bad experience.

Here, they provide 4 Sabji which includes Paneer, Green Veg, Pluses nd one more. Provides 3 Kinds of Namkeen, 2 Types of Sweets, Dal Chawal, Buttermilk, Papad, Salads, Chutney nd many more. The taste is amazing. One of the best place for Delicious Gujarati Thali. Staff also very Nice and Services provides very good. The rate is ₹310. Must have to visit.

One of the best eating place in ahmedabad. Enjoyed delicious food served by experienced, disciplined and best staff. The Hotel maintained very good hygiene. Not costly at all.

TGT is nice place.the food at tgb was decent. But the waiter's and other stuff was quite Not satisfied. They do not know how to serve. They don't have manners to behave with customers. They serving food in very different way and I & my whole group don't like it.

Worst food ever, very poor service, there is a manchurian in a gujarati food, thokla khaman khandvi like gujju food is missing, Bottle gourd Halwa at last found out that it is in the food. Go for Atithi, Gordhan thal etc.

I order there thali worth rupees 600 from Zomato at night time some food was smelling every sabji and daal has so much oil that u can collect and prepare another sabji I heard so much but totally disappointed I think at home we can make better food khamand also smelling food was not fresh at all 100 rupees thali more worth comparing them I would not recommend to any one

Don't visit The Grand Thakar at Iskon cross road if you want to spend some money in quality food. I visited The Grand Thakar yesterday but didn't satisfy with food at the price of i.e. Rs. 310 per person. Some of items were not fresh and overall food was below average. If you can spend around rs. 350 per person, I will recommend you Gordhan Thaal & Atithi restaurant with very good quality of food and premises.

If you are fond of Gujarati food, it's a must visit place, if you haven't tried it or the past experience was not ao good with Gujarati food still it's worth a shot, coz I am pretty sure one would love the taste of the food here. If you are planning for dinner, the place is always full so either visit around 7: 30ish or have an appetite to wait for 30 minutes, but the wait is definitely worth. I would rate it as one of the top Gujarati thali restaurant I have tried in Ahmedabad, and beleive me I have tried all of them.

The worst service and food. Waste of time, money and mood for food. Lethargic service, they ask for the quality of food but when we ask them to improve service and quality, they don't care of our review. Probably served same food from the banquet program. Never gonna visit again.

I found it a good place for those who love to eat. One gets food from all over the country in one "maharaja thali". It includes pizza, noodles, sambar, paneer and many dishes. That too at a minimal cost. The staff here is very cooperating and humble. They take proper care of sanitation and hygiene.

Quality food severed in huge thali.chhas is awesome, you could never stop yourselves to order it twice / repeatedly.a must try place.

The service and amenities were not up to the mark and also the one of the item was not proper it contain insect and we complain to manager he was not able to give answer and also the chairs were all wet I would suggest not to go here again.

Super place to eat Verity of traditional Gujarati "BHOJAN". The service is very nice and also genuine staff with quick response. Price of food is also moderate. And no words for quality. Really enjoy every bite. The interior of this hotel is amazing. I recommend to visit at least ones and take the great experience. Parking is available at this place in basement for free free free.

Fantastic hotel went for lunch and a thali of 13 items some exotic some authentic and some normal dishes great taste not heavy on stamach and pocket. Deliciously fantabulous

This is one of the best place I visited during two Weeks of stay here. Food is excellent, the kids who served food are amazing and Very Happy to serve. Managers are so kind and take care of everyone like you are in Saurastra. If you like Puranpoli, then, this is the place to go.

I am my family truly love the thali of Grand Thakar. We frequently get the tiffin packed for lunch or dinner. The items and the taste of Grand Thakar is unbeatable. The variety of food is immense. They regularly change the vegetables, farsan and the sweets, so that the people do not get bored of the same menu. The prices are for the meal in the restaurant are 280 per person including the taxes. And if u consider getting the same meal packed then the charges are 900 (For a meal of 4-5 people) and
525 (For a meal of 2-3 people). Must visit for Thali lovers.

This place is on the top of my list whenever I want to have Gujarati thaali.
Usually you will have to wait but not for more than 10-15 minutes.
It's just 280 Rs per plate for dinner.
I have been on both the branches and the food, taste, quality and services are awesome.
The service is really very quick.
This place is definitely not a romantic one as it is always crowded but food geeks won't mind that.
