Grand Thakkar is a good place to have a complete gujarati thali. The dinning hall is always completely filled with people. Though the service is so rapid that you would not sit idle even for a second. They have the signal for all type of variety of food they serve. They saw the signal and the item is in front of you. The thali contains very vast variety of food with a good taste. It worth appreciation. I am fond of its management after I visited. I would surely recommend to visit it once and see how it can be manage with a good and colourful thali in front of you with a mouthwatering taste.

Quality, Quantity, Service, Variety and Taste are superb in Rajkot, in Saurashtra. Very famous for GUJARATI Thali food. For dinner they offer Punjabi food also. But always there waiting of half to one hour. So be sure for early booking.

2. Courteous staff and prompt service
3. Comfortable sitting arrangement

Not so plus points -
1. Good music is missing
2. Family restaurant, no option for couples/date

We have visited this hotel several times. It's really a very family hotel. Their food quality is greater than others. Thier service is great. The waiting area with perfect seating arrangement. Their food price is cheaper than other famous hotels in the Rajkot city but I believe in great quality in foods. It's really deserving five star rating. Everyone can recommend it.

One of the best place in Rajkot (Gujarat) for thalis. Food here is yummy with lots of variety make sure you visit this place once you are in Rajkot. Also plan in advance as usually this place is crowded and may have to wait a long time in queue. Booking in advance is advisable.

their gujarati thali at afternoon is No. 1 in rajkot,
at night you get Punjabi, Chinese, South etc.and i must say all the food are always very very good in quality and taste.

If you like Gujarati food. This is best option for you. They have Chinese, punjabi and south indian food also. Its located between trikon baught and hospital chowk.
