This village situated on Billimoravadhai railway route is famous for warm water “Kunds” (Reservoirs) These “Kunds” of hot water are very old. It is said that, Lord Shri Rama could not get Brahmins over here for “Yagna” (Sacrifice) so he had called Brahmins for Gangakulgiri place on Himalaya for “Yagna” (Sacrifice) to fulfill there need of hot water Lord Shri Ram’s had produced hot flow of Ganga by targeting arrow in land. Besides as per other folktale when Lord Shri Ram, Sita and Lakshman living forest life came to Dand Karnaya’s Sharban Rushi’s Ashram then Rushi throught there meditation power had changed their bad-smelling clothes, Lakshman knowing about it, Ram’s attention was drawn towards “Rishis” pain to relieve the condition of Rishi suffering from a very big disease. Lord Rama had aim Arrow at lands inner part (Patal) and from it. Medicinal waters started flowing and “Ushan Ambas” big idol become evident Sitaji established “Ushar Ambaji’s” idol in form of energy. Sitaji bathed at this place (In bathed) and its name was kept so. Here from surrounding villages at Unai Matajis temple people come for “Darshan”.

Great religious place to visit. Hot water kund is the attraction of this miracle place. One time must visit place.

It is very famous for its holy hot water springs kund and the story behind it is that During vanvas Lord Ram was travelling with Laxman and came to meet Sharbhand Rishi in this area, Rishi was suffering from Leprosy. Rishi changed his body by his super power and met Lord rama. Laxman came to know his sufferings, He told Rama to make him illness free, Lord Rama made fountain with his arrow from Mata Earth and there was hot water springs inverted.told by locals.and people also taking bath in this hot water springs because it's holy ness. And people think that many skin related problem can be cured with bath in this hot water.

It's also under Gujarat tourism so maintenance and new temple made by government of Gujarat but original temple is in under the subway of this new temple and people can visit it first.and in it there where old murti (sculpture) of Unai mata.

Nice place to visit with family and relax. It has a natural hot water spring with is open to public for bathing. There are separate bathing facilities for both man and women. Best time to visit is during the kite festival. For 2-3 days the town is flooded with stalls and tourists who travel from far distances to come to celebrate together.

Nice religious place. A temple of hindu goddess shree Amba mataji. It also has warm water kund (reservoir).

Its historic pilgrimage place. Here are springs of hot water. People came here to offer prayers to Unai mata. And also bath by hot water springs. On certain occasions fair is organised here. Huge crowd comes here to enjoy the fair. Its connected by road with Vansda, vyara and bilimora. Also runs narrow gauge train from Bilimora to Vansda via Unai. Cleanliness is fair. Public toilets are poorly cleaned. Main road passes from middle to town.

The Lord Ram was stayed here with sita mata and they show a rushi has a skit problem so Lord rama did hole in dharti maa than a hot water come out side from the hole
Now people says that if you take bath with this water your skin problem will go permanently.
Sita mata says at the time is" hu nai" means i take bath from than the village name is 'UNAI'
And there is accommodation facilities is also availiable and big parking area also
Here a local market of handmade craftsand near a place called padamdungri is superb place to visit is full of nature creativity and adventures

Historical place connected way back to Ramayan era. It is being said that God Ram striked an arrow to bring hot water from Patal lok.

Temple is very nice, well maintained, clean, all arrangements of devotees is being taken care. Saperate location for male and female devotees to take hot water bath. Hygiene is maintained.

Hot water pond is also being maintained, water is clean and clear.

Parking space available little away from temple which is good because during peak festival time this place is over crowded.
Public toilet is available near parking lot.
Near the temples roads are very narrow.

Unai Mata Temple is a devotional place in Unai. It has a warm water kund from where boiling water oozes out. It is believed that Sita Mata had taken a bath at this Kund during the Vanwaas and that is the significant feature of this temple. The original temple was initially very small but it was renovated and the new temple is very grand. The temple is run by Government Trust headed by Deputy Collector of Vansda. The temple has a great religious value and people from all over the world visit this place. I was posted here from 2015 to 2017 as Branch Manager at State Bank of India Unai Branch. Hindu temple of mata unnai it's an national heritage and very old temple, in ancient time lord shri ram bow an arrow on earth and hot water came for mata sita for bathing, so their is hot water bath area, a natural resources of hot water, believed that if person takes bath here many types of skin diseases get cured, more near by area is very natural dense forest. So very good atmosphere.

It's an old Historic place where shree Rama and Mata Sita stay here, Hot water sprinkle Kund, It is the only place in South Gujarat where Hot water sprinkle.

Hindu holy place. The main attraction for this place is hot water springs kund. People are amazed to see that the water is continuously boiling. There are bathrooms located near that kunds and one can take bath from the water of that kunds. The parking facility is superb and equipped with urinary facilities.
