Vansda National Park

Be aware that Vansda Park is closed from 15th Jun to 15th Oct. We travelled all t way from Hatgad on 16th Jun and were not allowed to enter. V disappointed.

- car will go 6 kms, 4 kms you will go through villages where you will not get any wild animal, but you will find some farmer and their pets
- in 2 kms, you may seen deer, monkey, peacock and bats colony
- leopard is roaming in 28 kms forest area, which obviously not come to show off you on your car track
- tracking you can do with guide but with family you will not take risk because your guideis not armed. May be he is eating tobacco- khaini to uncomfortable your family trip
- your guide will stop you ontree type swings and ask you to take photos
- Moreover Jungle is dense enough which may be a problem to see wild animals

The First Department needs to train its staff better with the know how of the wildlife in the sanctuary

Nothing sited, also guides don't speak much won't give more information
They are not keen to take you to all parts
But forest as obviously beautiful and dense
Keep this as last option, not kind of must visit

Amazing dense forest on vaghai Saputara road. Self drive car is allowed. Habitat of many birds and wild animal but difficult to spot as it’s very dense. Summer is good time for visitors as there is more chance to spot animals.

Great #wildlife destination in Gujarat. You can feel awesome atmosphere in the nature protected area. Must go for #adventures and #nature walk. Post monsoon to winter is best time for visit.

National park located off the highway in Vansda. This park has a dense forest and is home to animals, birds, trees etc. The road leading to forest is a bit rocky. The entry fees are Rs. 500 per person (Vehicle + Guide). Photography is Rs. 200 per person for DSLR camera. This park remains closed during the monsoon season. Superb place to visit in monsoon season. Go with your own food arrangement bcz there is no restaurant or even any food vendors in near by area except tea/coldrinks shops.

પાર્કનો સમય: સવારે 8: 00 થી સાંજે 5: 00 સુધી.

ફરવાનો રસ્તો અને સમય: એક થી દોઢ કલાકનો,
6 કિ. મી. નો રસ્તો છે. પાર્કમાં ઉતરવું નહીં.
સરકારી વાહનની સગવડ નથી. (પોતાનું વાહન લઈને જવું.)

નોંધ: 15 જુન થી 15 ઓક્ટોબર સુધી નેશનલ પાર્ક બંધ રહેશે.

It's falls on the way to Saputara and as you entered in it you will realise the silent and peaceful atmosphere, several warning are there so you should be vigilant of wild animals.

A very peaceful and beautiful place. It is lush green during the monsoons and its best if you visit during monsoons. You will find many waterfalls along the route. A nice place for a getaway from the busy city life. Must visit.

Nice place to go on picnic with family. Gira dudh is a very beautiful waterfall here plus botanical garden is a plus. Must visit during rainy season. Awesome lush greenery for a beautiful car ride.

Nature and all about it. Go there in winters, camp inside the forest if you can. Nothing comes close to the experience of a teakwood fire and sleeping bags.

I mean come on what you expect from national parks. They're meant for kids and families if you're planning to go there with them then it's fine you'll have fun. But going with friends not a good idea.

Natural beauty.huge biodiversity of westernghat. Ticket 400 rs per car and time is 8: 00 am to 6: 00 pm. Staff is supportive.must visit this place.

Bt no animals were visible. It's pure luck if u find any.
It is advisable to visit during summer as there's scarcity of water. So animals approach to the tanks made by the park and are thus visible. Go early because during noon time they are busy napping:)
