Zarwani Waterfall

We went during January and it was not crowded at all and the water was clear. There is depth near the waterfall. One of the few good places I could see around Bharuch. It was a refreshing experience to have spent time with friends.

We went there but we didn’t found waterfall as we seen on the pictures. It was totally dried water level is too less. Best time to go there during monsoon or after monsoon season. Don’t recommend for outsiders.

This campsite is situated in the Narmada District. It is 28 kms from Rajpipla towards Kevadia Colony at the Narmada Dam site. It is 7 kms from the Thawadia checkpost. It is situated inside the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to a gamut of flora & fauna. The wildlife attraction includes, wild sloth bears, hyena, various species of deers and wild dogs. One can also see the rhesus monkey and the barking deer or muntjac which are rarely found in other parts of the country.

One can arrange for day picnics or treks with the help of the forest department, with the forest, waterfalls and other natural beauty within easy reach. Other sightseeing areas nearby include the Zarwani waterfalls, the Shoolpaneshwar Temple, the Gheer Khadi.

Tips:
Being a responsible nature lover is our way of showing reverence to Mother Earth, a few tips for you to remember -

Make sure to visit the orientation centre first before you start exploring the campsite as that would give a good picture of what you are about to experience during your stay.

Most of these Eco Campsites use electricity which is generated by using solar energy, hence please use it responsibly.

No smoking whatsoever (cigarette butts cause many forest fires).

No flash or intrusive photography (for example, don’t pluck leaves to clear a better view; reposition the camera instead).

Do not carry any music system or sound making device along with you and remember to keep them switched off if you are driving around.

Picking plants or insects is prohibited in any area; do not remove anything from the parks or sanctuaries.

Do not indulge in any quick or sudden movements to scare off wildlife.

Do not try going too close to the animals.

No pets should accompany you.

No littering. Trash is only to be disposed of in proper receptacles.

No hunting devices or other weapons should be carried, as well as used.

By Road
NH8 passes through Baroda, making it well connected by road as well.

By Train
The nearest major rail node is Vadodara at 90 km. The city lies on the busy Mumbai-Delhi Western Railway Mainline and is well connected by premium trains like Shatabdi and Rajdhani.

By Air
The nearest major air node is Vadodara at 90 km. Domestic flights connect Vadodara (BDQ) to major cities in India.

Beautiful place!
Just that way to reach waterfall is not convenient. No proper facility available.

Enthralling experience to waterfall visited in monsoon and trekking to tungai mata was heart pleasing as the view from top makes the heart full of joy….

Its a beautiful place to visit near kevadiya, make sure you visit during monsoon or you won't see the high flow of water.

We went there in Jan 2020. The waterfall was scenic and beautiful.
It would be great to visit during the monsoon where it will be so green around.

Great place to be in monsoon season, however the roads to enter the place are terrible and the fees taken to allow entry of car is 500₹, which is totally unjustified.

Paid Rs. 500 to vist.then someone without uniform asked us to park on the bridge and pay for parking.then someone in uniform said parking was free but only for vips.no signs to support any of this.it a beautiful place but needs cleaning and better signs.

Live waterfall is not so common in Gujarat but this place is magical!
The road to this place is very adventureous and thrilling!

Scenic place in Jungle. However best time to visit there is in monsoon or after monsoon. Also have an adventure park nearby.

It's good for trucking. Its distance from starting point to end is 7-8km. By walk but nature is unbelievable here. U can visit here if I have capability to walk 12 to 14km.

This is a small but nice waterfall.it is around 5 to 10km from statue of unity.do visit statue of unity it's 100 percent worth if ur visiting the waterfall

Good place to spend time with friends not good for senior citizens. Place is have full enjoyment and experience of tracking, local people. Are to good. I have nice experience. In zarwani. But not good for full day just 3-4 hours max.

The entry fee is ₹500 for a personal vehicle. The road and scenery is what makes it worth it. The waterfall was not as good as hyped but pretty nice none the less. Take your own vehicle and take in the scenery, that's what you paid for.

Do visit this place in monsoon session for awesome natural view. Organize your trip with travel along with your family and friends for statue of Unity and zarwani waterfall on same day because both are near so it will easy for you to enjoy the whole day with some amazing routes and nature.

Place is good. But visit only during Monsoon season. Otherwise you may waste your money if you go in winter or summer.

Beautiful place
Mount Abu is a gorgeous place. I personally love nature and Mount Abu is now my favorite spot. Nakki lake: Boating at this place was so refreshing. Dilwara Temple: The next and a very famous attraction of Mount Abu is where we enjoyed the most.

Best place for the one day picnic. I loved the place because I love the waterfall out there and it’s way to reach out there feels like tracking root.

Its a love to see nature and waterfall is awsm with clean water. Best place to do photography and pre-wedding photo shoot. And a small small fishes kisses ur foot gently and its a very good experience.

Nice place to visit in Monsoon. And i request all the travellers and visitors to keep this place clean. Throw waste in the dustbin. Be a responsible citizen.
This place was way so much more beautiful before the development of roads.
The natural beauty isn't natural anymore the water which makes this waterfall is now limited as the Narmada project has narrowed the flow of water.
Also the local shops are now changed with restaurants. So it's not as good as before.
But This is a beautiful place to visit. Riding from the curves in the shadows of trees is amazing experience.

Great experience of having bath in the flowing waterfall in the aravalli mountains. Its simply beautiful experience. If you want to get peaceful just visit place. To free yourself from crowd. Safe place to visit with family, dont expect to sight wildlife but you would get relax in this place. Accommodation and food

A small waterfall located near statue of unity. An extra adventurous spot added to statue of unity trip. Buses are available from statue of unity. And if you have personal vehicle then very well, just enjoy the trip.

It's an okay place to visit, if you are visiting statue of unity and you have some time which you want to spend in peace then this is the right place to visit.
It's in 3km radius of Statue of unity, you will need a car or a bike to visit here.
The entry fee is Rs. 500
It's in an interior place so you make sure that you visit here in the day only because there are no signals so none of your phones are going to work.
But it's definitely beautiful.

Best place to visit in winter and monsoon specialy good for bike rider every morning ride and ext.amazing place for hung outside

Very beautiful place.visit it in off season like winter because in season you can't click photos nicely.there are so many people in seasonal days.best part is it is clean no garbage around waterfall. If you are nature lover must visit place.
