Zoo Ticket Office

I had a wonderful experience at the Zoo ticket office in Vadodara! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, especially when they assisted my grandmother with a cost-free wheelchair. Their exceptional customer service made our visit to the zoo comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this ticket office to anyone visiting the zoo. The outside of zoo is very evergreen and it has huge garden outside of the zoo. It is located near kamati Baug-The Pride of Baroda. The zoo ticket of kamati Baug is very less i.e 20 rupees for elder people per person and 15 rupees for children age 0-6. There are various types of animals like tiger, lion, Bengal tiger, crocodile, rabbits, different types of birds, monkeys. The best place is the bird sanctuary, and the area is purely natural.

This holds big cats which were so mighty to the sight. One of the two tigers and the lioness, cub still, were very active and made the trip so well worth it. Though there are other parts which need to be improved and writing this as a zoologist myself. First is the rabbit compartment. Every rabbit is infected with eye disease. IT WAS GROSS! The monkeys were taken well care of neither were their cages. The birds could be taken care of much better.

Overall? It's worth having a visit.

A very good time paas place and many rare items are being displayed. Availability of good quality food a limitation

Bird Aviary section is temporarily closed.do not come if you want to only see bird Aviary section.

Easy process to get tickets as this place exist under the garder and very few animals are available at the time I've visited

Everything was perfect but it was sad to see how they keeping monkeys and ducks in small cages and they should clean toilets atleast if somebody go there they don't vomit agh it's same on zoo staff

Sayaji baug zoo experience at Rs 20 is a steal. Once aviary bird section is open after open sky net rebuilding plus new animals it will add to the escape from cement city life for all. Tall green trees and green river Banks of Vishwamitri complement the eco experience. One day to become a child again. Next day the Museum & Art Gallery. Recharge complete.

Kamati Baug zoo or Sayaji Baug Zoo is a nice place to visit. It is located within the main Sayaji Rao Baug (Garden). In fact Baug also has Baroda Museum and Picture gallery and Sardar Patel Planetarium.
It also has electric buggy and mini train.

Caution: Major renovations are going on in the zoo so many animals are shifted to some other place. So you may not enjoy the zoo fully. But Once ready, the zoo would be amazing.
Also, due to lockdown the planetarium is still not restarted.

I dont see many animals recently. Hope it changes soon. But i love the open environment they provide to animals.
