Aamod at Shoghi (Shimla)

Very beautiful Resort. There's not much of a mountain view. Although it's not located at high altitude, but the entire resort landscape is very charming. They have many activities, treks etc to keep the guests engaged. Super friendly and prompt resort staff and Best thing? It's pet friendly! Took my dog there and she thoroughly enjoyed her stay there.

A nice resort in Shoghi. Shimla is not very far from this place. Cottages are located in a scattered manner to maintain privacy and calmness. Trekking and different physical activities are arranged by resort staff. Quality of food is not up to the mark. One need to be physically fit to enjoy the stay in this hilly resort.

Pathetic experience.
Worst stale uncooked food.
Rooms full of mosquitoes, insects and enormous spiders.
No basic amenities in the room towels, soap, hot water etc.
Swimming pool as if never cleaned since decades.
Staff totally unprofessional and uncooperative.
Save your time and money never ever visit this place.

Property is liar. Photos on the website are appears good but in reality property is too shabby. Also, we had to wait till 4pm for checkin against the standard check in time of 2pm. Overall poor experience. Not recommended at all

Place was closed when I visited (11th Aug 2022). Have visited this place earlier. It was definitely amongst the best places to stay on Shogi. Rating given based on past visit.

They do false commitment, I will not recommend this, be careful before visit, everything take in written before visit.

I had very bad experience with hotel staff i took membership however, they are not booking the hotel and misbehaving over the call. It's fraud kindly beware.

My suggestion is please never visit there, they apply hidden changes when you leave hotel. And most of the rating given here are looking by there own staff and relative. They charged 6k extra asking us that this is extra service charges that one guys was allot for your room service and other is gst which first they (Pardeep) said applied already. So please don't visit this type of resort.

Great place specially if you have a pet.very nice rooms.very cooperative and friendly staff.good food though a bit costly (the breakfast buffet was awesome). They have in house adventure activities at very nominal charges which can keep you busy for 2 days easily.you have to walk to your rooms uphill so elderly people might think twice.all in all a great place

Very Bad Experience. Just gone with positive reviews but it was very bad on reality they charged extra 2000 as hidden charge at checkout. Please Do not Visit anyone. It is The worst resort in Himachal pradesh.

They are No1 Fraud, As I have taken membership through their guy Pradeep bist, Before take membership they speak very sweetly and will say that you can book any time but after taken money they will not hear you If you don't trust me then see my membership card (Boutique Club their membership provider) they.always say no room available but online room are available. Don't believe on fake reviews.

"Stress is far away" Located in middle of jungle the place is a pure bliss to make you forget your daily grind and experience nature up close and personal. The whole resort works on no harm to mother nature policy thus preserving maximum natural habitat. The mud cottage a.k. A delux cottages are cozy and homely, the pine wood cottages a.k. A super delux cottages are great and comfy.

Staff is super helpful with always ready to put in extra effort to make all your demands come true. All the cottages are very well differentiated from each other thus giving everyone full privacy.

The only thing that can be brought up to match other services standard is food. Food is average in most of dishes, himachli cuisine is great however you are left wanting for more in other areas

It was an average experience. The rooms were quite decent, however, they are placed too far up and it's like climbing a mountain. The food was average too.

I visited second time here, first time it was ok, but not they start Hidden changes first they say nothing need to pay but after they start asking for extra service charges, and pet charges as well, before visit I asked for that they say no change for pet, but when I was exiting they collect me 3000 extra for pet. Saying that you talked with wrong person before visit. I will never visit, and they ask for write positive review when you remain in hotel. I will never visit and not suggest this resort.

Beautiful place in middle of a forest and best part is it promote environment care.growing trees and everything used is recycled

Stopped while on way back from Shimla for a coffee break. Very nice place, truly situated in the lap of nature. Very courteous staff and prompt service in the restaurant. Would love to stay at the resort sometime.

Great food. A secluded property offering wooden cottages. The manager was helpful and made us comfortable.

If you have stayed at a lot of Hotels/Resorts but haven't experienced Aamod, then you haven't experienced what it means being at a Resort.

BEST SERVICE, BEST STAFF, BEST FOOD, BEST VIEWS, Infact, the really basic things others are missing.they just cover that and EXCEL in it. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AT LEAST ONES. GIVE THEM A GO. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I got to be frank, the whole property at Shoghi is beautiful. There are lot of activities at this resort including bird watching, bonfire, Spa, etc.
The cottages are very private and very beautifully designed. You can go for a walk at night if you want some thrill, the place is safe. Just be aware of monkeys. We were three girls on the walk and it was a lot of fun to walk around and be lost. The morning was also very beautiful. Lot of birds and very serene and picturesque scene are common here.
The food is very good, the staff was very kind and the hospitality was great.

Excellent property n location after getting this membership from Harjinder at gurgaon. He convinced us very good property and packing.shogi Aamod is very nice place to visit.foo food r excellent

A great place to escape from our daily hetic life and relax some time with nature peacefully. Location is easly accessible, with lovely eco friendly cottages, dinning options, indoor activities, batminton, outdoor activities and trek activities. Mesmerising sunset,
Bird watching, nearby passing toytrain, everything seems so perfect. One will fall in love with wooden cottages.
Spa was not available by the time we where there.
I would defenitly recomment all to experience AAMOD @ Shoghi

Great location, clean rooms with all the facilities and the most courteous staff. Overall experience was awseome.

I used to visit this place regularly (as I visited shogi once in every 2-3 months) for breakfast and dinner uptil some 2 years back. The food used to be great. But I was in extremely disappointed this time. I visited shogi after more than 2 years and as always went for dinner at Aamod. I was left extremely dissatisfied with the food. The taste was extremely ordinary. We had ordered a dish of gucchi and another of spinach and corn. Very oily and no taste. The management really needs to take notice and do something about it. It's the only good and posh eating joint in shogi. Or is this the reason that cause of their this exclusivity they have become careless towards maintaining their standards.

Admist the forest the resort holds an sureal atmosphere. It was an amazing experience stay in their cottages.its family friendly with treks and adventure activities.the food served was delicious.their bakery goods are a speciality.

When you want go away with dreams of nature, you have to visit this place. Pure jungle resort where you'll find sometimes monkeys dancing on the roof your mud house, or you'll find them at the outset of while taking bath in the ultimate jacuzzi at the cliff. The cukakoo, birds chirping, and crazy winds in the evening, all makes it a weekend getaway spot. Though food isn't that great, but otherwise the place is just amazing. Also, if you have some adventurous kid in you then alot of camping acitivities you can do here.

Really beautiful place to stay in middle of woods. It's an experience which you definitely want to have. High quality service, courteous staff, amazing food, it has it all for a perfect weekend getaway.

Amidst a small patch of trees, good for group outings as.they have multiple activities. Value for money is not so great.food is above average, cottages are comfortable and place is no so quiet as you can hear noise during the day from the mining activities behind the hill where hotel is located. Also getting in/out of the hotel for any kind of city visit is bit of a task as you have to get down from cottage, travel to main reception from where there van will take you down to the entrance/exit of the hotel.

Hill tracking like experience, having some adventures game facility also.

You will enjoy here at most if visit in group.

The ambiance is really nice.
The staff is quite friendly.
A little on the high end but altogether a great place to visit with family and friends.
A lot of outdoor activities are available which act as a cherry on top.

Great property. Cozy and perfectly done wooden cabins in the woods that make you feel far from the madding crowd. The food is delicious and the quantity is pretty good too. Everybody is warm and helpful - right from the guard to the property manager. We entered our room to find a basket full of fresh green apples and a tray of home baked cookies. Quite a range of activities to keep you engaged throughout your stay - few paid, few free of cost. The place is a paradise for bird watchers. There are many trails that take you deeper into the woods or towards the ridge - totally worth exploring. Wenr with friends and we had a great stay!

It's a nice place to hang out with family and friends. Just keep walking a little steps as this place needs a little amount of stamina
