The hosts are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the food is simply delicious. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape.

This was a memorable trip. The location of the homestay is mesmerising. The host family is really warm and very caring. It stands true to its name it really is a homestay. The place is very neat and clean including washrooms. Warm water is available. The food is local homemade meals which is yum served with lots of love. If you are looking for a reflective calming experience don’t even think twice to stay here.

If I had to say one thing about Aastha Homestay, It would be BOOK IT! It's one of the most marvellous stays I've lived in considering how warm and hospitable the hosts- Girdhari bhaiya and Deepa bhabhi are and how accommodating their entire family is. You can truly feel their affection pour through their interactions, food, concern regarding your itineary and what not. Village elders and kids would love to escort you once prompted- that's how friendly everyone is. The hosts will go above and beyond to ensure that you are getting to enjoy the best that Upper Neahi has to offer. The food is homely and bhahbi will serve you so generously as if there's no tomorrow! We trekked to Shilathatch, Sarikanda and attended the local festival after which Deepa bhabhi also dressed us in Pattu, the local attire for women. We were assisted by their neighbour, Balkrishna bhaiya who was equally charming and made the trek worth experiening with his interesting narrations of the village's everyday life, history and customs. The people here are so simple and welcoming that a stay less than 3-4 days won't do justice to the visit. The innocence and simplicity of the place will leave you spellbound. PS, leave the place as you've found and respect the nature and culture when you arrive.

I found this homestay while I was checking out places in Sainj on map. I am a solo traveler and Aastha gave me so much warmth. If you do not like touristy places. Upper neahi is the best place to visit. Locals are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of hikes nearby. Consider staying here for at least 3-4 days.

Amazing location with spectacular views, amazing home cooked food and amazing hosts. It is a wonderful place to get lost in nature with numerous forest trails. If you want to experience real Himachal village life and enjoy scenic views, this is a must visit place. This place is truly a home away from home. This was the best experience so far in the mountains.
The homestay is located in a remote village. The host treat you like a family. The house is old beautiful and gives a wonderful view of a peaks in Great Himalayan National Park. There are plenty of hikes and treks around.

The family is very warm and welcoming. The food was very home like and I eat more than what I really would eat everyday.

Away from the crowds, one gets to experience the real Himachal. It is a home away from home experience with lovely people and lip smacking food-I couldn't have asked for anything more. Mahi and his family ensure you have the best of everything during your stay, most certainly ensure you visit them again. One of my best stay in the Himachal Pradesh so far. Warmth, love and yummy food that Aastha homestay provides is beyond explainable. Washroom, rooms are very cleaned. Aastha homestay has officially my new home to spend some me time. Away from the crowd and city.

It was a wonderful stay for me. The host Girdhar took care of even our smallest needs, very well. It felt like a homely atmosphere with hot and fresh food served to us with a lot of love and warmth.

A HOMESTAY IN TRUE SENSE, CHEERS!

It's not an ordinary stay, its an exhilarating experience. The vibes are to die for. And the peace and energy one can feel here is on another level. My best experience of this year.

This is an apple orchard farm with village style stay. It has a pine wood cottage with an amazing view of foggy mountains of himalayan ranges along with mesmerizing sun kissing rays. I have never seen October so beautiful before.cherry on the cake is the hospitality provided by the host. We extended our stay to another 6 days and dint give a second thought and cancelled the itinerary already booked.
Rather, we got a chance to create own itinerary to explore the remote yet beautiful lower himachal with Mr. Sharma's help.

Best location to experience the nature and calmness. Get to interact with local people and experience the real valley. Great food and awesome hospitality. Hosts are the best people you get to live with.

Stayed here for 15 days and this was my 3rd visit. Just cant get over it. This is the true experience of a homestay. The love and care from the family, home cook food and to top with desi ghee is just scrumptious, the peace of mind away from hustle bustle city life does make me visit this place again and again. Every time I have visited this place, it has never disappointed me even a bit. Not to forget Mahi who is an excellent host, a friend, who loves traveling as we do. Would definitely recommend it if you looking out for a peaceful stay with comfort, home-cooked food, adventure, etc.

I recently stayed at Aastha homestay for a week and it was such a brilliant experience. Mahi & his entire family treated me like a part of their family. The food is so tasty and very healthy too. The treks were interesting and I also got to witness a local festival. Overall, I could not find even one fault with this place. The rooms are cozy and the communal sitout has lovely views. The bathroom is shared but kept very clean. There is always hot water for bath. I would highly recommend it for solo females too. If one wants to see Himachali culture, then this place would be a good choice.

I stayed at Aastha Homestay for 4 days and I wish I had stayed here longer. The overall experience living at Aastha was beyond amazing - right from making sure that I’m being picked up where the trek to the village starts by the host Mahi to getting delicious home-cooked meals to going around Sainj valley and visiting non-touristy places. Living here really felt like home. The village of Upper Neahi where the homestay is situated is untouched and has views that very few places in Himachal will give you. Side note: I was travelling solo and this was my first time being alone while travelling and I felt really safe.

The way they treat us is awesome! Very homely atmosphere ND a very good hospitality specially home-cooked food! Mahi bhai took us to very beautiful nearby places. Very overwhelming experience!

If you want Yash Chopra Switzerland like views from the moment u open ur eyes in the morning without having to leave the country - go to this amazing place… u will never want to leave once u get there.tucked away from the hustle bustle of commercial places, this small village will give u the feels for life.the family is so loving and they shower u with love and more love.the little munchkin who this place is named after will carve a special place in ur heart.once u have been here, u inevitably leave a small piece of urself there only.and u will keep going back for more and more.in short, u gain an extended family for life.

A big thanks to Mahi bhai. Best place for people who love offbeat destinations. The location is too scenic irrespective of the time you visit. Ppl in this village are so friendly and respectful towards visitors. Now something about the stay.pure Himachali style wooden cottage feels cozy and peaceful. Food served here is priceless as it's made of locally grown grains and vegetables with love of Mahi bhai and lots of desi ghee (that's optional). But a special mention that it's not for people who are tourists but for people who want another family in laps of Himalayas.
