You have to trek down to hotel from main road and if you have some one old person or having some health problem. It would be difficult for them.
It is 16 km away from shimla mall road. So if you don't have your own vehicle then don't come here.

Amazing place if you are looking for a non commercial peaceful place. Great home like food. Amazing views from the apartment.

Beautiful place, good service also try Apple chutney it's located in mashobra. Host is very humble and helpful.

The location was beautiful and serene. The rooms were cozy and had great views. The food was amazing and home cooked. The in-house host Ravi Thakur was very courteous and himself cooked us a lovely dinner on one of the days. The other food too was amazing, cooked by his cook Vishal. Overall we loved the stay. Thank you Mr Ravi Thakur!

The only good part was the beautiful cottage.
1. Mannerless owner will talk sugar coated while booking and eat your brain.
2.abuses people from Delhi
3. Calls at 1am or 2am to give instructions of silence. You can't talk after 10: 30pm here mind it
4. Food was served with no salt and cold
5.no nearby facilities for food and service
6. No ROOM SERVICE. YOU NEED TO GO DOWN TO BRING YOUR FOOD AND WATER AND TEA AND EVERYTHING

Place was nice location was good but requires renovation.in all it was okiesh food.their was to much problem of monkeys you cannot open the door or windows

Beautiful and serene location. It is a silent retreat. We were family of 25 who stayed there for 5 days. The food served by the cook Vishal was delicious and homely. The owner and the caretaker Rishi are very cooperative and catered our needs professionally. The rooms were spacious and had beautiful view. The view from the cottage is breathtaking. Will come again. If you want a silent retreat then this place is for you.

Stayed for 4 nights as a part of 25 members family group. Loved the magical view from a the rooms. Toilets were sparkling clean. Rooms were spacious and most had attached bathroom. Owner Mr. Ravi is very accommodating, friendly and helpful and even spared out some time to give us a taste of food he cooked through his expert chef skills. Staff was most helpful, especially Rishi and Mr.cook who always heard our reasonable demands and prepared scrumptious food and snacks.
Highly recommend this hidden gem and secret retreat for a quiet relaxing time with in nature lap. Bonfires, good food, fresh gardens with lovely flowers, wifi, tv, good views and support staff means you don't need to step out of the cottage premises and can have fun or even work remotely.

Cons
- tough & limited parking space. Need skills to park.
- monkeys nearby. They will eat ur stuff if u left the door open.
- Many steep stairs. Not for old people with problem in legs.
- No great amenities or activities to perform.
- washrooms are limited to 2 only for 4 rooms.
- costlier side during peak season looking at the services provided.

I am still giving better rating as I had a pleasant stay here. Giving 1 additional star for the food served here and for Rishi.

The location of the cottage is very nice, amazing view and sunset is a add on. But they have too many restrictions for someone who wants to have a good or relaxed time with friends or family it's like you are staying in a hostel, you can't make any noise after 10-10: 30 pm and if you do they keep calling you and make sure you reduce your volume or sleep. Either you order the food according to their time or won't get anything, also the food is way too over priced and not good in taste, also there is no room service you have to get your food from the cafe to the room yourself and bring back the used utensils back to cafe on you own they will not send anyone.
I would not recommend this place to any who wants have a chill vacation or fun vacation.

I with my family of 19 members went there for short period and exactly got what we were looking for. Rooms were well cleaned, views were amazing it felt like living in clouds in evening. Apart from this the uniqueness of the experience there took our heart. Host ravi ji and her wife are very calm and polite people. They make food with their own hands and serve you everything right from there kitchen garden. The love and happiness with which they prepared food, could be tasted in every bite.
I am very thankful for the experience they gave to my family. And would recommend the place without second thoughts.

Very poor show, unhygienic, pathatic hospitality & the food was not eatable & the owner fleeced us, chicken rs 2200 unpalatable we could not eat it.
Please don't go there you will be shocked & repent like us. He over charged us for everything.
At the time of bill payment he made himself unavailable as we would question him for overcharging.

It was wonderful staying there. Excellent view. Well cleaned rooms. Good hospitality. And the best part is you get fresh fruits from their garden. And you also get freshly cooked food. The owner mr. Ravi Thakur is a polite and cooperative person. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful scenic morning view, comfortable rooms, in midst of the clouds and nature, above all, our host Mr Ravi was a sober and friendly person, adding joy and happiness to the stay, staff were well equipped and efficient, needless to mention, the quality of food was awesome, fresh and served with love and affection by Mr and Mrs Ravi Thakur, a pure and clean soul, an amazing and memorable experience of my life time, in the middle of valleys.

If you want to stay in a luxury cottage then you can visit Agrostone Cottage, masobra, They had professional cook, service staff and hospitality. Such a good place. Room are well furnished.service is good. Just love it. Outside view is beautiful. Staff members are very helpful and guide us well very well about the place.the location of the cottage is easily reachable

In lockdown we decided to host a Startup Bootcamp in Himachal and Ravi Ji's place was a perfect cottage for having a family-like stay and the needed privacy at the same time!
The food cooked by Ravi Ji himself gave it a perfect homely touch.
Struggling for internet throughout Himachal, Agro Stone's WiFi was bliss for us to maintain a work-life balance in Himachal!
Highly recommended stay, away from the hustle-bustle of Shimla, yet super accessible with amazing views from the window, apples straight from the tree and one of the best plum chutneys.:)

What an excellent property for bachelors and family and the food that Mr. Ravi made for us was super delicious. Just like food made from the hands of mom. Its very good location and the behaviour of the owner is so nice. He is so polite. We loved everything there.

The stay was very comfortable. Owner is a gem person and staff is very polite. The surrounding is clean and if you want to enjoy drinks with sceninc beuty, this is a the place to go. Charges are good, not very expensive not very cheap.and rooms were maintained well.

Worst Hotel of shimla, firstly it is very far from main city and secondly location of hotel very down to the road you will face life risk in visiting this hotel, thirdly staff is very rude, forth manager remains drunk mostly, don't spoil your holiday as they did mine.

One of the finest places to stay near Shimla. The owner, Mr. Ravi Thakur had all
the arrangements done for a comfortable stay. It is because of his hospitality that the place felt like home. The rooms were also very well maintained. Overall, had a wonderful experience!

Location is very calm and everything is just wow.

Stayed here only for one night. But they made you feel like you know them from ages.
There is actually a staff here called 'Waheguru' & don't know the name of the second care taker. Both of them are gems.
Property is a little on the outskirts. So personal vehicle or a full day hire cabs will be better to reach here. They have amazing open field and Mountains visible from rooms.
Hospitality is Top Notch!

Place is managed by two mind blowing people-Vijay Sharma & A guy named ‘Waheguru’ they’ve done brilliant and very pleasant experience. Recommend any day anytime

Pathetic customer service, no house keeping, and rude behaviour of the staff.
They asked to drop and pick for the food and water, which was most disrespectful thing.

And even said they don't give rooms to people from Delhi.

Ghatiya service, thanda khana na koi staff no cleaning service, basic things are not provided as well.
Paisa waste hai just a suggestion not to booke this cottage.

This place is far away from Shimla and the local market, in that case you don't have any option but to order the food from their kitchen only. They don't even have a proper menu card. Their food was pathetic.
And even after ordering food, we were the only one to get it from their kitchen. Their staff didn't serve anything to our room. On top of that, they even asked us to return the used utensils ourselves. They have only one employee to provide the room service. The owner has some serious "issues" with DELHIITES. The only good thing in our experience was cottage. BUt imagine to go back and forth from second floor again and again to get food and water.
Owner is very arrogant, even if you go there please don't get involve in any discussion with him.
All over our experience was very bad.

Agro stone cottage in Shimla is room is very nice and clean. Food only not comfortable for me as a South Indian so that reason.

Rooms are beautiful & clean. Their staff Mr. Navjot is very couteous and helpful. We were given the top most room. Its huge. Has a beautiful view from d balcony. Over all our experience was superb. Thanx for evrything.
