It is a very pleasant place to stay in Naggar, the quality of the rooms and the services in general are superior and the hosts very welcoming. The rooms are very well equipped.
It is the best possible place to rest and appreciate nature.

Room was okay besides the fact that its one big room divided by a thin wall into separate very narrow rooms and noises form other rooms can be heard (even walking or moving around in other rooms), annoying.food was only 2 out 5 times to be called decent restaurant food, fruit salad is mostly canned fruits (not fresh), coffee was different taste and strength everytime, french toast was dry toast from toaster with egg spray (may be), ordered peanuts 4 times always got unroasted peanuts from previous monsoon season, complained and returned order twice but was still charged for returned food, wanted to leave after a while and asked for the advance deposit to be adjusted in the bill but was refused that it cant be done.was told by owner and staff that this place, here "only russian people come here. "

Great rooms: big, cosy, bright, well maintained, very good bathroom, fresh towels, room service. Great views. Beautiful garden.

In short, very good stay, good location, yummy food, good hospitality, good views, neat and clean rooms and bathrooms we hope to come back here again and for a lazy stay-in kind of vacation.

This place is a very cosy stay with alot of flowers and shrubs in the property, surrounded by pines all around it, rooms at different levels giving you a sense of privacy, space, very cottage like feel. In fact in our room we could occasionally get the smell of pines from outside! The view was good too. They have more than one areas to sit and dine/hangout/chit chat. You could just sit at one of these spaces looking out at the pines or the road down, or the huge roses in their garden.

They alo help you with getting around the place, give maps for short walks, activities, cooking classes etc.

Food was just toooooo good

Rooms are compact, functional, cosy and quaint. They have a cottage feel to it. The bathrooms was well equipped and very clean with dry and wet separation. The room had bath robes and slippers too. There was also watter kettle, coffee/tea mixes, water, clean towels, hair dryer, garbage bins, sanitary disposal packs and bins, hot water. They have a file with their menu as well as guides to nearby places and activities. This place is very near to the naggar castle and other cute cafes near it. There is a primary health care centre opposite the property and a very very trustworthy bike rental service just down the road which makes it very easy to do your trips and return home in time.

The owners are very sincere and make you feel at home! We needed a cab by 6.30 to leave and had told her about it but we just as we reached back she had the cab already arranged in time even though we reached the property late, so as to ensure we get our bus in time. They have been there for a long time and can give you alot of suggestions with short treks, trails and places to visit nearby.

We spent most of our time in naggar visiting other places first like manali, kasol, peel etc but! Just staying in maggar and a property like this will give you all that you were seeking - crisp air, beauuuuutiful scenarios and trails to walk, khatkuni homes and smiling locals, cutestttt cafes, apple tress, pines all around, very very good food. The place seemed to have both slow simple life yet accessibility to everything right around -super market, cafes, bike rental, walk trails.

What I loved the most are the various spots you can dine at while here. It's very relaxing and enjoyable. They have many dining spots and each one has its own cosy vibe.

They also have a cute library and handicraft store in the property.

On our short trip to Himachal, we made this quaint, serene and beautiful village of Naggar to be our base camp. Our stay here at Alliance let us enjoy essence of the village. The hosts Eva and Gill made our stay very home like and we were sad that we had to leave. The rooms, bath and the property is well kept all the time and the food was really good. The hosts run this homestay with a true passion towards hospitality.

They will help you with suggestion on trail walks you can do or places you can and need to visit near the stay. The place is aptly located and has quite a few cafes near by and the bike rental near by enables you to explore Himachal keeping this as the base as we have done.

The stay like the village has a charm that leaves an impression behind. Looking forward to when we can come here for a longer stay.

The location is excellent, plus the Roerich Museum is nearby, there is something to see. The water from the mountains is the cleanest, there are shops nearby where you can at least take whiskey and cola.

Alliance Guest House is great place to stay with awsome view of snow covered mountains. The rooms are awesome, service is prompt and delicious food options available for breakfast, dinner etc. The location is very suitable due to walking distance from Naggar Palace and art gallery & musium. There is also a large hall for dinner and games etc.which makes it suitable for family and large groups.

Alliance is the best place to stay in Naggar. It's as good as staying in a homestay, as three generations of the lovely family running this beautiful place reside on the premises. Located at six different levels on a mountain slope with great views of Naggar village and the surrounding mountains (snow-covered in winter), this place has the ambience of a forest retreat, with dozens of tall coniferous trees standing proudly all around the tastefully designed buildings - old and new. The family has paid a lot of emphasis on creating open public spaces where guests may socialise, enjoy the views or simply curl up with a book. In addition to the five different outdoor areas on five different levels on the premises, there's a sunny, open area in the forest adjoining the property. Guests may retire with a cushion to sunbathe or read a book, or call home in soft voices. There's a kitchen on premises, where you may order food in advance, just in case you're feeling too lazy to walk the 250 metres to Naggar's main café drag near the scenic Naggar castle. The dishes are absolutely delicious and would remind you of home!

This family run guesthouse is very cute. It has a library, lovely people who work there and great food. Prices are very reasonable as well! Plus, they have hot water, good water pressure and the rooms are clean. It is also possible to hang up clothes after handwashing. The only down side is that we didn’t sleep well.the pillows are very uncomfortable and there was brooming in front of the room starting at 7AM.

A hidden gem of a place where you can sit in any corner and be away from the world for long hours. PS They also have a library

My favourite place in North-India, highly recommended! This is a little part of paradise!

The best part of Alliance apart from the serenity and peaceful surroundings is the hospitality.
The family running the guesthouse are kind and genuinely want their guests to have an enjoyable experience in the valley. The food, as well as the rooms are top notch! If you're in Naggar, Alliance is the place to stay.

It is one of the best places for people who are looking for a long term stay in Naggar. Run by French man married to an Indian women from the same place. Their daughter Eva manages the property and their hospitality is wonderful. I met people who have been living there since few months, working from mountains. It's a huge property and multiple places to eat and spend time. Evening dinner in the open balcony with bonfire was a great experience. All the major spots to visit are near by to this place.
