Ananda Homes Kasauli

I had the pleasure of staying at Ananda Homes for a weekend getaway with three other families and our kids. Our experience was absolutely delightful from start to finish.
The service at Ananda Homes was nothing short of amazing. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious home-cooked food. Every meal was a culinary delight, prepared with love and care.
Though it is not a kid friendly space but the place was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, our stay at Ananda Homes was a perfect weekend getaway. The exceptional service and the scrumptious home-cooked meals made it a memorable experience for all four families. We can't wait to return for another relaxing stay in the future.

This is a beautiful, spacious serene and cosy villa we recently tried with our family, has an amazing chef and service staff catering to guests who are at beck and call instantaneously and that too served with a smile which is rare to find these days.
The welcome was perfect to this villa so was the adieu part.
All in all a perfect stay tucked away in the hills, cosy with one’s family. Thank you for having us and ensuring me and my family made some amazing memories and the desire to come back again.

Very rude manager.they forcefully charge for kitchen and cook even if you dont want it. Manager's name is Rahul. Don't recommend at all

Best place to stay in Kasauli. The sit out is truly beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. Great chef too!

After months of being locked in the house due to covid 19. Me and my family decided to venture out for a holiday and finalised " Ananda Homes " In kasuali after reading the reviews by other guest.
Must say it was a stay par excellence, with breath taking views, tasteful ambience and interiors and awesome food prepared by the cook Ramesh ji.
The host was always available a phone call away and was more than kind to arrange a picnic for us at the " Heritage Park ". It felt like a home away from home, thank you team Ananda to make our trip so memorable.

One of the most pleasurable stays. The property is nothing short of luxury. Stay here was as serene as the quaint town of Kasauli. Highly recommend.

Needed mush deserved holiday, a very beautifully curated property - it shows great effort and taste put by the owners. Staff is very professionally managed and most importantly have great personal hygiene. The views are breathtaking and the night sky line at nite looks divine. It is truly as the name suggests " Ananda ", thank you for hosting us over the three days.

+ Chef was good, his assistant tried but not up to the mark
+ Service was good for AirBnB
- Mattresses very poor quality, sleeping was difficult
- Amenities and towels very poor, they are giving Sunsilk shampoo pouches and Lifebuoy soap. Oyo rooms provide better amenities.
- Wastage in the name of groceries. Don't want to write in detail but they bought stuff that we didn't need and then billed it to us.
- Place requires maintenance that has been ignored for long

Beautiful property very tastefully done and well maintained. Spent 2 days and enjoyed every moment of it. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

The place is good n the staff is also very kind and helpful.
However the property manager (Mr Rahul) spoils the entire experience with his regular checking and micro management. There will be lot of interference by him. The price (25k) is not worth the hassle. Minimum service standard levels are not maintained.
Would not recommend especially because of the property manager.

This is our second trip to the property in 6 months and we decided to come back again only bcox of the comfort and par excellence service provided by the staff and caretaker.

I stayed here in Sept 2021 and was a Disappointing experience, it’s a house in the hills in a row of 4-5 houses and not really a villa. There is hardly any estate with the house. The ‘second villa’ that is advertised is just a small place. The worst part is the owner’s attitude, who just does not care about his guests concerns, he in fact disappeared and was not available for our period of stay. One feels cheated going to this place. Only saving grace is the staff which was helpful and the excellent cook

One can't get a better place to spend time with family with close to nature and not very from NCR connectivity by road, train and air. The staff at the villa is courteous and very polite. Excellent home food.
Ananda located on top of a ridge provides excellent view of both Kasauli and Shimla valley.

Pros- very very helpful staff.very tasty food. Nice open area with a decent view from all rooms and beautifully built.

Cons- Too costly a place, denied to accept booking.com confirmed booking as he was getting more and forced us to pay the difference, less food choices. One of the 4 rooms is very small with an extremely small difficult to use bathroom.

It is a beautiful property with ample space for 8-10 people. The cool was great and served us delicious food for our stay of 3 days here. It is around 3-4 kms from the the Mall Road and is at a very peaceful location. Good for family weekend trips m. The host is super helpful and is available all the time in the phone and very responsive. A must go for a big family outing

The COVID crisis seemed to be waning in the July of 2021 and one wanted to travel with close friends to a safe destination. Being senior citizens one was cautious not to attempt any foolhardy by visiting a crowded destination like hotels where exposure to public was natural. So the safe option was to take a villa at a place one could motor.
The unanimous choice was Ananda and Aarya Villas at Kasauli. Our Drivers were accommodated at Alpine a OYO run property right opposite our villas. Both lodging and boarding were provided for. Of course at a reasonable cost.
Nested among the pines and away from the usual bustle we were safely ensconced in our haven. The ten of us felt no need to jeopardise our safety by venturing to town or the markets. The owners gave us our own cook, helpers and house keepers. Groceries and kitchen requirements were just a phone call away. The made to order meals were delicious and very hygienic. The four nights spent together became very memorable. We had a barbecue one evening very ably managed by the cook. Another evening it was sumptuous Chinese fare. We even indulged Ina musical evening by calling a singer from Chandigarh who regaled us with his versatility.
The morning walks around the surrounding greens were tranquil as the
area is so calm.
Above all the lady of the villas needs to be applauded for her taste as the decor and furnishings were so classy. Needless to say we will visit again!

Be prepared.

. To buy your own food ie right f on veggies, spices and the very basics.

. To have an intrusive, nosy owner of this homestay.

The Villa was very beautiful and scenic beauty was super Awsum. Food served was super delicious. Staff was cooperative. Grandfather of Rahul was soo generous made our stay more comfortable with his over whelming polite nature.

- Plumbing need attention (Water flow in Bath room is too low).
- Electric devices (Fan/Lights need repair).
- Property Rent is on Higher side:)
- map location need to be accurate.

It was our first experience staying in Villa overall it was pleasant stay. We certainly recommend this property if above observations are takencare.of.

This has been my most wonderful stay in Kasauli ever. I have been to the place multiple times and rarely you come across such a property. Fascinating views from the balconies, great hospitality, wonderful host, large rooms, super clean and hygienic washrooms, warm staff etc etc.

The drive is nice from Chandigarh and the host ensures you reach the property without hassles.

Bonfire just adds warmth to the chill. Room has heaters and it helps a lot at 1 degrees in the night.

All in all a perfect stay.
