After a long long climb to the mountain top.all tired and sweaty.the view was serene, awesome, Devine.it's beyond any words could describe.
Climb up though you are tired.at the top you can see the beauty of nature where "Nature" bows down to the "Creator", melted snow pours down from mountain directly on the Shivalinga down. Its unexplainable beauty at its best. The scene Fills ones eyes with wonders and trust me you will forget all your tiredness in just moments.
There are different modes of climbing up Solang Valley like Horse Ride and Motor bikes which you've to rent and they take you and drop you back down. But, we chose to walk instead to enjoy the beauty of nature with our own time frame to spend sufficient time in any spot we liked. It's max of 2KM one way.

Beautiful view, but very bad road… We stay scooter above 1,5km and go walk up. And then, we can’t cross river with 1-year baby.

Have to trek a little to reach Anjani Mahadev, Solang Valley. You will get to see the mesmerzing view of water falling in the Shivalinga Must visit this place if u are a Mahakal vakt. Har Har Mahadev.

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मनाली से 25 किलोमीटर दूर सोलंगनाला के पास अंजनी महादेव में साढ़े 11 हजार फीट की ऊंचाई पर बर्फ से शिवलिंग बना है. जिसके दर्शन के लिए श्रद्धालु वहां पहुंच रहे हैं. अंजनी महादेव में प्राकृतिक शिवलिंग इन दिनों सैलानियों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बन गया है. शिवलिंग को देखने के लिए सैलानी यहां पहुंच रहे हैं. बता दें, ये शिवलिंग बिल्कुल बाबा अमरनाथ की तरह ही हैं. बर्फ से ये पूरा शिवलिंग का आकार ले रहा है.

It is not naturally from shivling made of snow. It is very big and size.is just one hour trek from Solang Valley. We went there by ATV Byke. It was a great experience depth of the snow in that location is very deep upto knees. I would recommend you to take one bamboo stick for safety

A very beautiful temple with a very scenic view and when you go at the top the you see the waterfall is falling at the shivling which is amazing.
The green mountains all over and the blue sky with a sunny day made it more beautiful when I visited the temple.

Amazing place breathtaking experience, however the temple area is slowly becoming honeymoon spot which is not good for the spiritual vibe.

It’s in solang valley near Manali Himachal Pradesh.
You can do many activities here. Tourist has to hire a quad bike to reach this spot. They can get these quad bikers everywhere in solang valley. Snow cloths, boots are available there at cheap prices. Ok request of tourists, they allow them to drive the quad bikes too. Up there, there is skiing, zip line and some other activities.

The quad bikers charge you for all these activities. My personal belief is that one shouldn’t try skiing if they don’t know how to do it. I mean they keep falling and colliding with each other in that small place and then after 2-3 minutes they leave it. So it’s total waste of money. My personal thinking is to do paragliding, it’s a one time experience that a person can never forget. It’s costly but it totally deserves it. But there’s one more thing, you have to talk with them about the video of yourself paragliding. They Charge you too much.

If you're visiting Solang valley then you must go there.you have 3 options 1. Is trekking 2. By horses 3. Or motor bike.beauty of that place I can't explain.

This is Lord Shiva Pind situated at Solang vally in manali.

Best time to visit this location around before mid of December while you will get fresh snowfall and cold temperatures aprox -5’.

Here you can go by walk or via ATV Bikes which are easily available on rent for aprox 1500/- for one trip.

ATV driver will bring you there and you can rome there until you want.

Note: there is fee for entry in temple, however its good to visit in clear sky season only:)

A scenic snow covered trek leads to this temple, alongside which is a big ice shivling, which is visible only during the winter months.

We spent 2 hours here. A lot of snow activities we did with friends. Alternative of Gulaba when all road was closed.

Divine. A must go place. Peaceful and serene. Book an ATV ride till this place n visit shiv-ling located below a waterfall.

4 wheeler motor rides are total experience.
Mahadev temple climb (barefoot) in cold is a challange but it's totally worth it when reach the top.

The shivling is very high and to walk all the way there is a task. If you're too much into religious places then you may want to take that hike, we didnt.

It is a beautiful place, just 2.5km from Solang Valley this is an must visit place. Initially it thought it would one like any other regular temples. But once i reached there i was amazed by the location and views. And the journey of course an wonderful adventure. As the temple is at a height you can trek or go by Mountain Bike (usually called ATV) for which you have to pay 1000rs for 2 person (To and fro). One can go by ghere personal vehicles also but they reach upto a certain distance only and from there you have to walk as the path is most sutiable gor ATV's. After reaching there you have to cross a path of a waterfall and after that there are approximately 100 steps. Up there is an mesmerizing view of waterfall pelting down on Anjani Mahadev (Shivling) from a height of atleast 100 feet and you also get to see some snow covered peaks and other 2 - 3 waterfalls on the mountains nearby. Cool wind adds to the beautiful scenery makjng it an unforgettable experience. There are different kinds of Adventure activities available at the location, which you can do like zip line, river crossing and a few more. You can also get to have some Maggi with hot tea. I would recommend trekking for young people if you have time else scooter is a great option. You get to see water fall which falls on shivling. Its also one of the best locations for the People who love photography as there are many beautiful locations and many small waterfalls.

A nice place in solang valley. Actually this is the lone attraction in solang valley.solang valley is famous for this only. Temple and small water fall is main attraction.there is no snow or very few. So don't get trap in agents. You can go by walk to the temple.or hire a horse Or mountain bike in 400- 500 only from the govt ticket counter. There is a autorised tourism counter for hiring of Mountain bike and horse.

Good place, took horse riding paid 300 per head, walking with kids or old people difficult. Horse is better then quad bike safety wise

Must visit if you are passing by Solang valley. There is a Shivling under the waterfall. Somewhat similar to Bahubali movie.

This place deserves a lot more mention than it gets. It's easily one of the best places I have been too. It's a Shiv ling right under a beautiful waterfalls. But the experience and how the scene unfolds is dramatic and mesmerizing. I had no clue about the temple and expected it to be another regular temple popular because of the tourist location it shares. But it was a whole different experience and be sure not to miss it if you go to solang valley for adventure sports. We went in summer but the place alone had snow cover. There's mind-blowing scenery on all sides wherever you look. I tired to capture video but it's nothing close to what you will witness when you are physically there.

Beautiful, Hari OM Baba- Place is very nice and on high best time to go In winter season, you can see the huge shiv ling of 60-90 ft. If you are going in may to November then do take a horse ride, it’s located near to Solang valley adventure area, if you are visiting Solang Valley never miss to visit this place

There is a shivling at this place, river crossing and some other adventure activities also happen here.you can also walk up to this temple.not so difficult unless you like trekking

Just wow place, i would recommend to everybody whoever visit manali, this place should be in "Must to go" visit.

Solang valley is must to visit in Manali. It is really very beautiful but the best part is the 2.5kms trekking to the Anjani Mahadev temple. It has all, trekking in the valley, river, steps, stones. It may make you tired, but it's worthy. When we reached on temple, we were fully tired but the single view of fall falling directly on Shivling made us full of energy. The great thing was, it started showering when we reached there. Overall a great "Pavitra aur Anandmayi" view.

Great place near Solang valley in Manali.
There is temple but the difference here is Shivling is directly under a small water fall which keeps on moving with wind. Word of caution water is chilly even in summer so if one wants to take a shower change of clothes is a must.
Its a small trek of around 3km with gradual gradient. It will roughly take around 30-60 minutes depending upon individual condition and level of acclemetisation. Though ATV and horse rides are available for hire.

Just wow, a must visit place in manali, for all the nature and peace, you will find your self under the blessing of Nature.

This place is said to have a shivling on its own. It can be seen in winters during snowfall. In monsoons also, one can see the scenic beauty of waterfall dripping on shivling with nandi dev. To reach this place, one needs to climb around 50-60 stairs but its definitely worth it. I felt blessed in the serene ambience on witnessing this. You need to go to salong valley, manali and take a trolley from there to reach this place. On the way, you can witness other adventurous activities like roleway, zipline and others.

Great experience I would suggest to walk it would be a hike for around 40 to 50 min the view on top is beautiful

Very nice place between hills, and nearby water fall. A life time memorable place when you reach near waterfall by stairs.

बहुत ही अद्धभुत व अलोकिक जगह। सोलंगनाला पार्किंग से पैदल या घोड़े से जा सकते हैं। खास बात ये है कि जिस भी मौसम में जाएं अलग ही दर्शन होते हैं महादेव के। सर्दियों में अमरनाथ की तरह बर्फानी, और गर्मियों में शिवलिंग पे झरने से अपने आप जलाभिषेक होता है।

It is in the solang valley. It is about 3 K. M.up on the snowy mountain. You can either hire horse or go on foot. There is no need to take snow-jacket on rent because there is not much cold even in the month of January.

Situated at Solang Valley but not as per expectation if visited any other snow point. As not spacious and even activities are not good. Only good for kids but not for elder.

Ourself can do some activities like skidding on snow with family or wife if married.a) Skating - 200m range so only for kids
b) Tube skid - 350m around so any one can try this
c) Roping - Not best but can try too
d) Can try Yak ride for experience.

It's a new place for all snow sports like solang valley. Car drops 2 km before, den it's suggested you book a horse to climb up d main location. Do not book any sports in advance. Go n chk urself den decide n book for activities. No washroom facilities for anyone.some options for food available.

The temple was first discovered when a huge natural Ice Shivling was discovered at the base of a waterfall during winter months. Now a beautiful Shivling is built at the base of waterfall for the rest of the year as well.  

ATB bikes, horse ride or hike up the walking trail from Solang valley will get you here. Zip-line to cross the small stream before reaching the temple is also available.

Must visit on your trip to Manali

Should take pony ride or trek to top for some snow activities. No washroom. Food stall available. It's a new replacement for solang valley.

During the winter season till April, the paths to this temple would be totally covered with snow. If you are an energetic person, a trek to this temple during winter is a must when you are in Solang. You can enjoy the snowy mountains and the scenic beauty of nature. Make sure to carry enjoy water and apply sunscreen on your face as it can be very exhaustive to walk in the sun even during winters as the snow reflects a look of light & heat. Can tan your skin.

Waterfall directly on the shiv linga (lord shiva's idol)
Not sure the idol is kept there under the waterfall or the waterfall miraculously started because of the idol.

Legends has it in its history books that the waterfall wasn't there at the time of establishment of the idol.
It started after the shivlinga was established.

The journey to this temple is nearly 3km and the water fall is frozen as ice. Your feet will go numb just by climbing 6-7 steps towards the idol because of the ice cold water spilled on the steps.

हिमाचल की उत्तंग शिखरों पर, मनाली की मनोरम वादियों, अभिनव अमरनाथ यानी अंजनी महादेव की अद्भुत छवि विराजमान है। समुद्र तल से ६००० फिट की ऊंचाई पर अवस्थित एक अनुज अमरनाथ ही है। यहाँ केशरी पत्नी एवं हनुमान की माता अंजनी ने देवाधिदेव महादेव की तपस्या की थी।

अंजनी की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान भोले नाथ ने वरदान में उसे हनुमान दिया, वही हनुमान जो चारो युग में अमर हैं। इस अंजनी महादेव के आशीर्वाद अजर अमर हनुमान, राम भक्त हनुमान, जो की कृष्णावतार में अर्जुन को मदद किये और आज भी भक्तों के बुलाने पर आ जाते हैं उनको उत्तपन्न किया।यह झरना ७२०० फिट की ऊंचाई से गिरता है।

वैसे इसे गुप्त गंगा भी कहते हैं। देखने से यह बिलकुल ऐसा लगता है जैसे शिव की जटा से ही गंगा निकल रही है। पहले तो हिमाचल और इसके आस पास के ही कुछ लोग आते थे लेकिन अब गर्मियों में यहां हजारों की संख्या में लोग आते हैं। बाबा प्रकाश पूरी जी महराज ने इन्हे अभिनव अमरनाथ की संज्ञा दी है। अब यहां की देख रेख अंजनी महादेव श्राइन बोर्ड के द्वारा किया जाता है जो की बाबा प्रकाश पूरी जी ने शुरू की थी। अंजनी महादेव
