Apna Chai Wala Mcleodganj

The temperature of Dharamshala along with the delicious food here really helped me gain a full circle of the best experience. The staff was friendly and cooperative and the food was absolutely delicious. And the ambience was perfect for a mid-stop from "touristing" around.

In a very busy location of Mcleodganj.amazing ginger elaichi tea in a kulhad and good corn Maggi.the Dalai Lama temple is jst a few steps away. Definitely recommend this for tea

Milky and foamy, and by far, the best chai in the greater Dharmshala area. My personal favourite: the elaichi (cardamon) chai.

It is a great place to hang out with a great cup of tea. One should really try their different flavors of Chai. I hope to be there again and again

Had Choclate tea, was wonderful.just loved itm. Go for it if you are.a tea and choclate lover.
Would like to taste their pan tea also and other interesting flavous.

A cool small outlet with cool ambience and a great variety of tea. We tried medium size gur waali chai and elaichi chai. They were just super amazing. The variety they offer is really good. Prices are also very nominal and worthy for the taste they offer. Must visit and try if you are in Mcloedganj.

The best tea we have had in our 3 weeks travel. Staff is so pleasant. Though he could not speak much in English, he tried really hard to explain the different types of tea and ingredients. We tried Elaichi chai and it was incredible. Asked for less sugar and he made it perfect. It is served in Claypot mug. Then went for Special chai which according to him has almonds. Also absolutely perfect blend.

Had maggi too since it is a staple In Himachal. Can’t leave without that experience. Tried here as the outlet is clean.

I lived in McLeod Ganj since last 16 years, I haven’t seen any tea cafe like Apna Chai Wala in the town till date. They have different varieties of tea and i have been tried most of it because every tea offers us unique flavours. I used to go in this cafe twice in a day with my friends in our break times. Not only tea we also impressed with service of their staffs as well. If you are travelling around McLeod Ganj then you shouldn’t miss to visit in this beautiful tea cafe. I make sure you won’t disappoint. ️

Have a good variety of chai and coffee is also good. You can have snacks as. Very polite and active staff. Nice place to visit in McLeod.

The Apna Chai Wala entrance is not wheelchair accessible as it is on first floor. It is a nice place to watch the sunset while sipping piping hot tea or coffee. There are plenty of options for small bites. This place is very near to Dalai Lama temple and roadways entrance.

Found this place while walking towards our hotel. Tried the ginger elaichi tea and we requested for less sugar. The taste was really good. There are a few tables to sit inside and enjoy the tea. They also have bun maska and other food items on the menu which we did not try. Definitely recommend the tea.
