Food was just ok, tried veg and chicken biryani it was tasteless, chaat item was fine had gol gappe and papdi chaat, got mathi box it was also okey okey. Ambience is fine. But taste needs to be improved.

Good price point and quality of chole bhature and gobhi paratha was good.

Better than many Mall road eateries

Worst service, staff is very unprofessional and very arrogant. They don't even know how to talk to a customer. Food was served cold even after waiting for almost 30 mins.

Located in chotta shimla this shop used to be good for its quality and taste during 2012-2019.but now quality has been compromised and their inventory turnover ratio is very low which is the main reason that majority of their sweets are stale so much so workers are so adamant and rude that they dont respond to the order of customer 4 people are hired on the counter but none of them bother to take order.apart from this female staff is so rude and arrogant that they scold customers.further the prices which they offer their sweets is not reasonable.i only find Mehru's sweets reasonable for such prices.one famous quote "UCHI DUKAN FEEKE PAKWAAN " would be applicable for this shop.

One of the oldest sweet shop resturant and bar in Chhota Shimla since 80s.situated adjoining Himachal Pradesh governments secretariat. This bar and resturant has its own local clientage especially visitors of HP secretariat. It is Centrally located on main chhota shimla chowk and now parking with ample space is also available adjoining to this bar and restaurant.

(THE CAKE WAS BASA), THEY WERE SAYING IT WAS OF YESTERDAY BUT SMELLED LIKE WAS OF 2,3 DAYS IT WAS STINKY. THE PRICES ARE HIGH BUT NOT WORTHY. THE STAFF TOO IS NON COOPERATIVE

Providing stale cake. Taste was bitter and smells. And the staff is like cherry flavor hai. That's why it's bitter.

I bought a pizza slice which is of rs 56.when i take bill they charged me rs 96 for that. When i asked they said service charges bla bla.
Food was pathetic i ordered thali in which paneer and mix veg have white color gravy which was yuk.

My sister brought momos from ashiana resturant chotta shimla and the momos are so worse in taste.i don't accept these kind of service from ashiana.

A place in existence for over 30 years and offering multiple options when it comes to sweets, confectionery items and North Indian cuisine.
Today again I bought sweets from them and noone at home actually liked any of the 3 things that i bought. There quality is pathetically sad and too bad. Sweets are nothing but too much sugar in one or the other shape and size.
The staff on the sweet counters are lazy and non-responsive.
On my last visit, i specifically asked the lady at the counter if cards are accepted and after she said yes, i asked her to pack a few sweets. Post packing she said that the card machine is not working, wherein i could see another customer paying via card on the next counter. It was irritating to explain such simple fact to them. Arrogance was in the air as if they simply didn't care.
Coming from Delhi, outlets not accepting card payments or lying to the client, eventually lose their customer base.
For food or drinks, i personally prefer Natraj Bar and Restaurant next door, which is managed by a very humble and customer centric owner. Skip ashiana and check our the place next door, though if you want sweet, there is no other option, but ashiana bar and restaurant in Chotta Shimla.

Go nowhere else then this place if you are in the surrounding of it.

Wish I could give it a zero star. It indulges in the malpractice of overcharging for bakery items on display if you go and order them from the Restaurant.

They didn't came to take order. Twice happened with me.pathetic services pathetic food.drunk person was making nuisance in restaurant area.no body cares.not a healthy ambience for children and families.

It's a quite good & popular place in the locality of Shimla city for take outs with its prime location just near the Secretariat which is quite a busy place with people of Shimla. In one line, we can say that it almost fills the gap of the Sindhi's in Shimla city.

Please prefer a small dhaba over this place. Poor quality of food and service is even more poor. Total waste of money and time.

Very Bad experience of ordering a cake from Ashiana, Chotta Shimla.

On 4th November I ordered a cake for birthday celebration from Ashiana Chotta Shimla, had given them advance payment also but when I went to collect to cake the cake was not ready. After questioning Ashiana staff it was revealed that they had sold my ordered cake to someone else. This is highly unacceptable and mis management on the part of the restaurant and they had no answers toy questions however they felt sorry for the incidence but this is really shocking how can they sell my ordered cake to someone for which I had paid partially.

This is not the first time. On 3 rd October I ordered a 4 pound cake for my daughter's birthday they took the order and when next day I went there to collect the cake, they were not having adequate packing material to pack the 4 pound cake and they wasted around 40 minutes of my time for arranging a temporary packing for the cake.

So I will recommend everyone not to order any cakes from Ashiana chotta shimla, reason being poor management and a very poor customer satisfaction.

Worst experience ever. No one is taking care of there guest we have to ask them to take our order. Food was not good and biryani was like simple jeera rice. Besides this the water they served has a mosquito in it. Never want to visit there again.

It's been like now 25 years that I m visiting this place.since my childhood this place has done best it's best in satisfying my taste buds.

Zero star, even i will give star in minus, worst food, no taste, no quality, dont know why they started restaurent when they donylt know about cooking.

No Hygiene maintained. No handwash. Waiters not wearing mask. COVID guidelines not followed.

If you can't handle the crowd please either hier some responsible staff or shrink the size of your restaurant.

Renovation is not going to change anything but firing your slow brain-dead staff will.

Very nice food and right at the heart of political center of HP circle. Drinks and beverages also served in bar section. Very courteous staff.

Food is of very very poor quality and it takes half hour to prepare food after order. I ordered butter paneer and aloo gobi but it was ridiculous. It is better never to eat in Ashiana.

Food is good.the soya chaaps are ok.samosas are great, must try.ambience is good, bit dark.rest room/toilets is bit stinky, dirty and very small.

This place has earned a very good reputation with remarkable service, delicious food and sweets, situated at a prime location they have a restaurant, bar and sweets counter prices are very genuine, food preparation is quick and delicious, staff is very polite and nice, place is nicely kept and bar was renovated recently, only washroom they have is not up to the mark it is kept unchecked and untidy, there staff is smoking cigarettes in washrooms which should be stopped,
Apart from this great place for a quick meal, highly recommended!

Biggest mistake of my life. When i bought sweets from u this diwali. Everything is nonsense abt u. Pinni itni ghatiya thi khaane mai ke pucho mat.

Nice place for snacks and dining but rest room condition was not good. Need to improve in service quality and rest room condition.

This is the worst restaurant of whole shimla. I asked them to pack Shahi Paneer and Chicken. There were no pieces of either Paneer or Chicken, only gravy. And don't ever try chowmein at this place. The worst I have ever tasted in my life.
