Worst food, have masala dosa costing too much, provide me old food, no standards who is this udupiwala? Why these guys looting people, feel like sick after having this food, I questioned why hrtc Volvo bus stoped at a place where there is only one restaurant.
Restaurant looks like very high quality but food standard is pathetic, dhabas provide much better and fresh food.
Where are the food inspectors and organization. Who are checking these type of looting business.

A refreshing change in type of restaurant that open on the UNA -Dhramshala Highway. It specializes in south cuisine. Though demand has to pick up and the standard of south cuisine is not upto the mark, Hope it will soon match with good southe restaurant. Ambiance is of high grade.

Beautifully located restaurant has ample sitting space. The ambience is very nice they also have a play area for kids.
Parking is ample and service is also good, reasonably priced menu

After seeing the ratings we went to udupiwala restaurant.
The food was not upto the mark as per the ratings plus they added extra dish on our bill.
Guys as we are Traveller and we hardly check our bill.so it's a request to check your bill before paying.
Very bad experience.
They are greedy who make money cheating people.

Good place to take a break. You have a punjabi restaurant and Udupiwala also for your south indian taste. Bathrooms are clean and location is good. You can stop here and have a little food and enjoy your journey to the top.

Lovely place, perfect mix of hospitality and quality not services. There is children play area but at night it was all dark down the hill. This place is perfect example of Himachali hospitality with modern touch.

Well its a great place for a break, you snack and refuel you body. This place is perfect to eat. You will find all the variety of eatables, almost all. If this place is near to you do not take break other than this spot, I have been here with full family and ordered pani puri, parntha, chole bhature. Preparation was delecious. Pani puri was just ok can't expect much, but other stuff was extremely tasty. Maggi is also prepared here. Vegetables Maggi is best here.

Very nice South Indian restaurant. We had masala dosa, paper dosa and sambhar vada. All items were very tasty and liked their coffee which they serve in their traditional way. Overall you can't afford to miss this place for any time meal. We drove 2 hours with empty stomach to have breakfast here and it was worth.

This is a good place. South Indian and North Indian Food is available under one roof. Children Park and 7D movie also available for children with clean toilet

Too expensive for the service they provide. I ordered Aloo Onion Parantha and it was too thick (really thick) for humans to consume. Also, the staff was really co-operative but hard of hearing. You'll have to shout out thrice before they hear you.

Lovely Food and Children's Park. Those who have eaten at Udupi wala know the taste. It's authentic taste and very good option for South Indian food lovers in this area since mostly here are Dhabas with only other vegetarian food.

Total waste of Money. We ordered a plain around 11pm, the waiter gave us a yellow dal, two other curry full of red oil and one table spoon sabji (waiter said Sabji is finished). Food is very unhygienic and owner dint even care about the quality when i took whole plate to his desk. Don't eat here else you will get sick, one more thing i want to mention that owner dint even gave one rupee discount for his pathetic Plain thali. Please avoid such restaurant and be careful while eating.

Food isn't that good but given the location and options it's not really a complain. Good, spacious rooms and good service.

TIP:
If one is travelling via HRTC Himsuta Volvo buses, this is one food stopover. Although the conductor would give you 15 minutes of break, more time is given. Hence enjoy your food and stretch a bit.

Great place to spend your prestigious and valuable time. It is almost on the top of the hill. The awesome place to visit. Here you get good parking space and there are two restraints there one is udupiwala and another one is kangaria wala. The quality of food is too good and price reasonable and is also the stoppage for Volvo busses of HRTC.there is diff. Prices of food for HRTC passengers.
