Baikunth Resorts, Kasauli

Visited this place during July. The views from the place of the valley below were truly mesmerizing. At times we were covered by blankets of thick clouds as they moved through the valley. The route to get to the resort was very scenic as well. The staff was courteous, always greeted us with a smile. This is a perfect place for family retreat or a workcation, away from the Hustle bustle of the city. Highly recommended.

We went for a lunch meal there and didn't have a pleasant experience. Food not at all good and the prices of the dishes are exorbant. So Ill not recommend to go for lunch or dinner meal there.

Very cosy place to be in. Slightly away from main city, have to go through a tough traffic, but once there, service, food and stay is excellent. Very courteous staff, especially Mr. Ravi, a very generous gentleman.
If ever visit Kausoli again, would definitely prefer stay here again.:)

The place is beautiful & set in the lap of nature. The diffuclty is only to reach due to heavy traffic. People are helping for the traffic to move from the winding roads. Local people park their vechiles which blocks one side of the road.
The rooms are very airy & spacious.
There are sll sorts of facilities SPA & excersie equipment.
Snooker Carrom Table tennis Cricket Basket ball etc.
As regards Food which is the most imp thing was the best bet.
Right from the breakfast lunch to Dinner
Daily change in breakfast variety.
As regards lunch & Dinner You order & it is before you to the best of your satisfaction, be it veg tandoori & even Italian was liked by the children.
The Resort people set up live music band called from Ambala.we enjoyed live dinner in the sprawaling lawns.
Last but not the least the staff right from the Banquet Manager to the entire serving staff were very co operative & very helpful. They all were dowm to earth.
Overall I & my family enjoyed a lot the scenic beauty of the resort & we clicked hoards of pics. Love to visit once again.

While Kasauli as a place is not that happening and its always advisable to travel to higher altitude to get a real feel of mountains, however this hotel is worth it.pleasent stay, we went in Aug/Sep and rain ladden clouds and hospitality made our stay a good one

Baikunth Resorts, Kasauli is spread in a vast expanse of land, surrounded with beautiful landscapes. The staff is courteous with decent food served. However, if the room is located away from the resort cafe/restaurant be ready to walk the maze some bit and enjoy the beauty on the way.

One thing I experienced firsthand after staying at the place- the website doesn't do the place any justice at all!
Beautiful location, aesthetically decorated cottages with all amenities, wonderful food and service! One can enjoy the colours of the sunset right from the comfort of one's own private balcony in the resort. Simply loved how green and peaceful the place is.

The first thing one experiences as one enters the property is the gentle mountain breeze accompanied by the jingling of wind chimes, and cottages set amidst tall beautiful pine trees. Would love to be back here in this well maintained property with impeccable hospitality! All the best to them!

It's good place to relax and rejuvenate. But keep in one mind it's widespread and has many stairs.

What a fantastic place to stay and enjoy the hills. Extremely comfortable to reach. Great service and high quality food… top notch place, price wise a bit on the expensive side

We were coming back from Kasauli and stopped here for the dinner. The place is charming and cosy. Located on hill top and surrounded by pines Baikunth Resorts is indeed stand out from the rest.

Spent amazing time with family and friends in this awesome resort. The food is great and this location has scenic views. They have amazing recreational activities arranged within the resort which worked well for my entire family and friends. We would love to plan another vacation there around August or September months.

Location and rooms are decent but service is not good. Takes more than 40min even if u asked for a tea at room.

Definitely not worth the price tag. Toilet was so, so. You did not get the scrubbed feel of a top end resort. The Kama products were effective, so I wd say superb. The cover for sleeping was faded, and felt stale. What surprised me was no plug point to charge anything, so had to charge phone in toilet. Bit irritating when one really needs to switch off and sleep. The fruit on the plate was doubled wrapped with cling film (not environmentally friendly), a plain white plate (which was ok) but no fruit knife (which was not).
I was in room 23. The mesh door and main door open opposite, that means the lock of the main door is where the mesh door has its hinges. So trying to open the front door at night, with the mesh door pressing on you, casting shadows where the key needs to be inserted, means you need both hands, a phone torch, and your shoulders and legs holding the mesh door, all the time trying to get your hands to function in a closed cramp area.not fun. Poor design.
Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Beautiful ironing.
But I would not stay there again if I can help it.

I have just checked in with my friend although It's huge but isolated property not at all worth for money. Prices are too high for this kind of property.old property with very average rooms, old furniture, airconditioner not working and washrooms not so clean.they ve charged whooping money and not even offered us a welcome drink.
I'll rate only two stars.really a bad bad bad experience.pathetic.will not recommend to anyone.planning to change the property.

Firstly it’s isolated property if you’re going with kids not recommended, no activity for them just for a name sake the made one with no staff and old equipment even basketball was so old it was plain like watermelon no grip at all, bat was thrown on a ground in a broken condition.
When we entered the room we got shocked seeing spider on the mattress and our horror adventure just started with sleepless nights and the chairs were also in a broken condition and next day without asking they started renovating the next room and was using drilling machines in a very called quiet and peaceful place just 9 am in the morning when we were trying to sleep after sleepless nights just guarding ourselves from spiders.
Rest food was good no complaints staff was good but very limited only for restaurant and front desk that’s all they have but really pricey for stay.

Bad thing about this hotel was -Management is not so good, they donot provide any food menu, or card with numbers of reception etc.
There is just a card which you can scan and then menu will open in the phone
But what is you don’t have a network connection?
Yes they have wifi, but you will get the password upon asking for it
And what is you are not so technical to scan and find the menu,? May be if some old people visit, how will they order food?

They provide 2 litres of water complimentary, but When you ask for more water.they charge you 60 rs for a bottle, on which the mrp is printed 25

Really bad service and rooms please don't come here. It was so poor that we only had to stay for 2 hours and still give around 10 thousand. Pathetic just pathetic I don't know why people gave it 5 star's

It's a very nice resort. Visited with a young toddler. The staff is really helpful and cordial. It's kid friendly. The rooms were spacious with a huge balcony. Room service was good. Food is great. Only lacking was the kids play area which wasn't well maintained.

This is a good resort on hill top with cottages rooms are clean but management was very poor with respect to money they charge. Restaurant and Bar available. Little expensive. Food look costly same as the drinks but we were told you can carry alcoholic drinks with you. We had one bad experience as some one probably housekeeping member kept a water bottle in our room which has some chemicals, which was accidentally used a bit but no damage done. CCTV was not working to check who kept that.

Cottage are specious, ambiance is top notch (nature friendly), food is awesome. Activity things for kids and elders. Recommend - must visit

Beautiful resort with multiple level cottages and rooms. They have a separate dining hall, lots of open space, a recreation room, a kid's playroom.

It has lots of greenery within the property. The staff is very courteous and helpful.

Room service is a little slack and needs periodic reminders.

Kasuali' oldest and biggest resort poorly maintained by the staff. No doubt it used to be the first choice for Kasauli travellers but renovation is required to make it up to date, air conditioner in some of the rooms make irritating noise, pedestal fans inside rooms are dangerous for kids. Nobody will pick your call from intercom between 11 pm to 8 am as no staff resides in the resort during night. Reaching here is also risky due to narrow road.

Went for a wedding to this resort. The place is small for a large gathering. The parking space is very limited. The food was okay but the service was poor. Okay for a family for a weekend.

This is one of the best locations you'll get in Kasauli. Absolutely stunning, the way they've constructed the entire resort on the hill. Beautiful in every way.
It's about 20 minutes from main Kasauli market, and if you're coming from Chandigarh, take the Major district road on your left, at the Haveli. This road is wider, so easier to commute, though 2-3kms longer than the Kasauli-Garhkal road.
The resort takes 20-25 minutes once you take left on the Major district road. Parking is free, and is enough. Reception is just next to parking. You have to walk up on stairs to reach the resort, although there's a way to take your car to a level above the parking too, that's just the drop off point for people who cannot walk that much.
Resort is beautiful, and you can feel nature in every sense. The rooms are spacious with all the modern facilities, 24/7 hot water and room heater/AC depending on the weather. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Restaurant serves good food. The view from all the rooms is spectacular! Staff is courteous, room service is amazingly quick. They give you no reason to complain.
I'm completely satisfied by the amount they charge. Must visit for couples or families!

Was here for my brother's wedding. Beautiful resort. Hospitable staff and breath taking views. Absolutely worth a visit.

A pretty place, great location, excellent view from the top. Good spacious rooms with a good view from the balcony. Thankfully there was no Monkey menace, but still advisable to not keep your balcony doors open. Food quality is also very good. Service is excellent. There are games to enjoy - like basketball, cricket, table tennis, pool table etc. There is a conference room with projector facility too. Only drawback is a climb up from the parking/reception to the rooms.

Used to love this place but its losing its sheen due to zero upkeep. Plumbing and upholstery is ages old and has not been upgraded. Those little things which added to the charm are missing. I attribute it to the rising cost which is killing the hospitality industry. But the food was out of the world as ever

This is the best hotel around Kasauli. It is a bit far from Kasauli mall road but if u are looking for a quiet and relaxing place, this is a must visit. The resort is big and spread across various levels. The cottages and rooms are well kept. Staff is very helpful. Food is awesome.

Not worth the price they charge. Their advertisements are misleading. Unreasonably Expensive for what they offer. Room furniture is old with visible cracks. Upholstery of the room sofa/setty is dirty, stained and falling apart. Cafe Sofa is so dirty that it needs to be thrown out. Breakfast may or may not be a Buffet. When not a buffet, there is no Menu to order from. They show you Main Breakfast Menu, but, when you order from that they say the item is not part of the Breakfast they would have laid out as buffet. Chef and preparation is good. Service is good. View is very good. Washroom is good. Except of the receptionist, the rest of the staff very well mannered and pleasant to talk to. Staff is diligent and hardworking. Owners not doing good job. If they charge half of this price, then these standards are justified.

Good place to stay. Tasty food. Rooms slightly expensive. Not a place for old and infirm. Need to have Golf carts for elderly guests.

Good property to plan for a night stay in hills but food is pretty average. Actually they should hire a good chef and work on the food presentation as well. The room charges are of a 5 star but the rooms are just okayish. Overall the place is good because of the location. It's a nice hangout specially with kids / friends

The only nice thing is the hotel structure and a view if you get a decent room. Very basic untrained staff, average food. Basic interiors, stained furniture.no one basically cares whether you're here or not. Also avoid the spa. Save your money and go to a good Airbnb. Very disappointing!

Amazing place but the roads to the resort are narrow. Rooms and service was amazing. I would recommend for a quite stay with friends and family.

It is a very good resort specially for couple. Location is very soothing and Dinner at open area in night gives you a good feel.

We attended the Blues and Rhythms Festival Kasauli 2019 at Baikunth resort. Well organised. The resort is laid out various levels. The food was good. Common washrooms were spotlessly clean.

One of the best resort on hill station I have seen. Best for family and couples, will not suggest for bachelors. So many activities are there. The best part is the view from the balcony. Very peaceful place.

Everything was fine except for unruly crowd who likes to party at loud music and hootings upto 1am

Very poor service i have taken all meal plan but buffet is very bad nothing to eat I don't recommend anyone to stay here because after paying lots of money everyone expect gud service.

First of all this is not a 4 star hotel and should not be called a resort as it lacks everything a resort should have. There is no manager over here, if you want to share your problem regarding any problem with this hotel. Whosoever wants to come here just to stay, it's okay, but if you want the facilities of a resort, you will be highly disappointed

The place is very serene, closer to the road to kasauli. The food was tasty and wholesome for a group of four.
