Very good place for photography beeji park located around 2.5 km from Gandhi chowk Dalhousie in khajjir road this place is maintained by Dalhousie Public school.good location and nicely maintained.
Beejis Park is few kilometres uphill from main Dalhousie. Its a well maintained place. Flowers on the sides of the road makes it more scenic. Tankers, missiles and jeep arouse a patriotic feeling as well as gives a good background for photography. One can spend 10-15minutes to look around and enjoy this place. There is no park or playground as such for kids. (August 2023)
The park's well-maintained pathways and lush greenery create a peaceful ambiance, perfect for leisurely strolls or simply sitting back and enjoying the beauty of nature.
One of the highlights of Beeji's Park is its breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The vantage points within the park offer stunning vistas that are truly awe-inspiring. It's a great spot to capture memorable photographs or simply soak in the natural beauty of the region.
The park also features comfortable seating areas, allowing visitors to relax and unwind while taking in the serene atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to read a book, have a picnic with loved ones, or simply enjoy some solitude, Beeji's Park provides the perfect setting.
It is a place that truly rejuvenates the mind, body and soul.
This is amazing place to see military things like Jeep tank missiles such as many things and the main thing the flowers are awesome and this is very amazing place for children
It's a very small area, along both sides of the main road. You cannot really call it a typical park. And it's dedicated to all mothers, as the name 'Beeji's Park' suggest. On one side of the road a full-size fighter jet along with all it's ammunition is displayed. This whole area in off bounds, with a guard constantly on the watch. An adjoining area, which is accessible to everyone, on the same side of the road has an old battle Jeep with anti aircraft gun, replica of a ship (carrier), and a couple of other interesting artifacts.
The other side of the road has a real T-55 tank, which you can pose with.
Another 20 meters down the road, a full-size missile, a torpedo, replica of sea-carrier, and a ship anchor are also on the display. This area too is accessible.
Everything is very nicely maintained, partly also because the whole area is very near Dalhousie Public School, which maintains the whole area in and around the school very well. Because it's right there on the sides of main road to Khajjiar, there is no space to park your vehicle. So, you need to cautiously park your vehicle at some distance ahead on the road after a sharp bend.
All in all, a nice 15-20 minutes stop on the way to Khajjiar.
I loved it as we can see them in reality its maintenance is done by DPS school Dalhousie very beautiful view from this side This park is most attractive thing in Dalhousie
Very peaceful and well maintained place with the Army tanks, open jeeps and aircrafts on open show for public to view. There isn’t a dedicated parking place though but still manageable since not a very busy road
This place is a Joggers park built as tribute to all mothers in this planet and specially martyrs mother. This place is very well maintained by Army and displays our legendary weapons used in several wars.
A thrill of patriotism runs down the spine while watching this magnificent place.
There are no fees or charges. Beautiful park for tourist. Just be careful as it is very close to the road. Photography is allowed take care while taking photos. Its very clean and well maintained. An army cantonment area consists of an Dalhousie Public School. Only issue was parking. People need to park car on road only.
This is in Dal housie and is very nice place although it along road side so its not safe enough due to traffic but offers us the knowledge of our Indian ionical hero's and have many dummies of Indian war machines
