The location is far from Manali mall. But it is situated in an apple garden. The way to the hotel is very off road.

Poor, horrable, dangerous, one of the wrost experience ever specially location and after that mangement response if you dont want to spoil your trip please dont select this hotel.

One of the worst ever experience. The approach road is very dangerous and will give you goose bumps. It has breathtaking curves which will bring your heart in your mouth. It's almost a 3-4 km adventurous ride from the main road. The food was not upto the mark.no fruits or juice in the breakfast. Food preparation and variety needs huge improvement. Actually, it is fit for 2 star rating. Room was very very cold. Cannot suggest anyone for accommodation here. There are many hotels much better than this on the main road.

The hotel is nice and the staff is cooperative. But the quality and quantity of the breakfast and dinner need improvement. The rooms were spacious and the view was great. Though the room service wasn't satisfactory.

The road to reach the hotel is dangerous and in bad condition, you have to take personal vehicle to reach the hotel. Service was poor, quality of food was poor. There was a bad smell of kitchen exhaust gas in the rooms lobby, reception and cafeteria.

We really had a nice experience, team were really cooperative and good and sweet in nature. They really took efforts and decorated our room for a suprised that was planned my our loved ones.really felt so special and our 1st anniversary spent well. Food was also good in taste especially kadhai paneer n chilli chicken. Thanks Himalayan Monal Team.

The location is the only negative to say. Otherwise the rooms and ambience are that much good.

The views from all the rooms are stunning but the service is slow and inaccurate. For instance ordering food from the in-house restaurant takes a lot of time on top of that they sometimes mess up the order. Other than that the staff is helpful and the stay was great!

They staff is great, everything from the staff to the food is excellent. We were 18 people and everyone was catered very well.

It was amazing staying at himalayan monal. Crew was very cooperative, food was excellent and amenities were nice. Thank you for everything.

Third class service. Location is very bad. In fact there is no proper road to reach there. The price to the restaurant food is too costly compare to service quality and taste. The price are like 4 * hotel but taste n service are of 1 star.

We stayed at the Best Western Himalayan Monal, Manali for 3 days for a family trip. The amenities were good. The rooms, view and ambience were pleasant. The staff was friendly. Jagdish Thakur, the restaurant captain and manager and the other reception staff were very helpful. The last part of the road leading to the hotel was not well-maintained. It is a little away from the city centre at a little height, which makes the view great and the hotel in a silent location. Overall, a good stay.

I am so annoyed the way they have treated us on the last day.
Tha bald guy on the front desk (I don't remember his name) is an absolute arrogant person who does not value the customer satisfaction and is very ill mannered.
First of all there was no wifi connection in hotel whereas we have been in other restuarants and hotels in the area and they all had the wifi connectivity.
Secondly there was no AC available in the room and on requesting for the same they gave an excuse that in Manali you don't need cold air in the room (though the room was very hot).

Another striking point is that there was no usage of elalevator.
Hotel staff told us that there is a maintenance going on whereas we could not see any technician around and we had to carry out luggage by ourself all the way down through stairs.
Moreover, the location of the hotel is very isolated and not safe to travel in the night
Hotel manager was not ready to talk to resolve the issues we came across on the last day of from stay.

I am thankful the way they treated us on the very first day and how they have moved our stay dates which was one of the best services I would have asked for n specially Mr. Jagdish Chand who was all the time at the service and gave exceptionally gr8 service for food and guiding us for the tourist attraction places.

Overall we would not recommend this hotel to anybody for their stay.

Rooms are good, spacious with good ameneties. Mr Thakur was only good, rest of other staff were not look intrested any more. Room service was good. Food quality was also good and reasonably priced. Approach road needs improvement as road is very narrow and only expert driver can take you safely to hotel. I had kept my breathe on hold always while checking in and out of hotel otherwise hotel is good, neat but some insects were observed inside the room.

Extremely poor, light goes very often. The guy not even cares to switch on the generator in summer. The hotel does not have AC nah heating panels.
Food and location is pathetic and staff is extremely rude

खाने का मैनेजर का व्यवहार बहुत घमंडी था
आखिरी दिन हमने उसको ब्रेकफास्ट पैक करने को बोला तो उसने पहले तो मना कर दिया फिर उसने परांठे रात को ही बनाकर रख दिए और सुबह हमे पकड़ा दिए ।
जबकि मैंने ब्रेकफास्ट के पैसे अलग से पे किए थे

I recently stayed there for four nights.
The hotel is 8km far from Mall road and the cab will charge approx 800 everytime you plan to visit Mall road.there are no shops hence you are totally dependent on hotel for food which is extremely costly.tea and coffee is approx at 125 and 135 rs.maggy is 160 rs.the charges are just like 5 star but the service is not worth any star
ar.staff does not take feedback positively.the rooms are small andd the guy who handles all this Mr. Jagdish thinks he is the best.all in all my trip was bad mainly because of this hotel. My advise for you all not to stay there.

One of the worst places visited till date. Location is weird and hotel is understaffed. “Service” - goes without saying is delayed always.
Food served to us for all four days was undercooked and spicy. Beware of ulcers which might happen after staying here.

Please don’t prefer staying here at whatever price offered.

Hotel is too much inside Manali. Services are good. Hotel name board is very small. Please put a big board named "Himalayan Monal". Food is also good. We were attended by Jagdish Thakur.

Need to give one star so that I can review it otherwise actually hotel isn’t liable for any of the stars.

We had worst experience ever in my life time in this hotel.

Firstly they had totally inexperienced staff in the hotel may it be kitchen staff or the reception area.

Secondly the service if we are calling for housekeeping that person is bringing the things after 1.5 hours of constant calling.
Many a times they do not even receive the housekeeping contact number also.

Thirdly and the most important, we had verbal fight over the food quality and instead of trying to serve us better he misbehaved with us and indirectly told us that “you should know in whose area you are, so better mind your business and leave”. We were shocked at the time.

So cutting the story short even if you are given free holiday at this hotel. No one should visit such worst place where this not a single percent thing like hospitality.

Every thing was excellent. The only problem is remote location. Very far from main road. It takes almost 45 minutes to reach main road. If staying in this hotel then come to hotel before sunset because the road is really scary in night. Also make sure that it is not raining or snow fall because the road is Kacha road so it becomes slippery and almost impossible to reach hotel.
Hospitality point of the hotel is excellent.
We have enjoyed our stay.

Rooms facing towards Hill & River side has amazing views, Need to ensure that you are expert in driving Hilly terrain to make your visit fantastic

Worst experience ever.worst service.food quality was so poor, frequent cut in electricity also hot water was not available, heater could not heat the room properly and location of the hotel is too far from the city with difficult and worst roads.i will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Excellent hotel.neat and clean embience with marbelous view of Hampta Peak and Indra killa peak.

Hotel is very nice and clean.rooms are also classy and well decorated. Facilities are very nice and ultra modern.all are good but here foods are not tasty and high priced.and to reach the hotel the road is not good at all. Location is not good. But if road is not issue then you can get snow view from your room.

Hotel is very good! The view from the window and the balcony js superb! But it will give you tough hustle to reach the place! Road quality absolutely horrible and it is so inside the simsa village!

Postive's: This hotel is in a spot which overlooks valley and gives good view of surrounding snow peaked mountains. We witnessed seasons first snow and it was as usual an awesome experience. Hotel is relatively new.
Negative's:
1. Access road to hotel is dirt road. Not an ideal location if you have to visit the Manali town. Very risky to drive especially at night while snowing.
2. During our stay occupancy at hotel was very low. Many of the staff were on leave. Hence restaurant was taking way too long to serve the food.
3. Bedsheets had holes in them. Quilt cover had so many stains. We had to call room service to change bath towels 3 times as towels had muddy dirt on them.
4. Doesn't have floor heater. Feet would be frozen while you are on throne every morning.

Overall it was a mediocre experience. Absentee staff could be the root cause of mediocre service.

The Worst Hotel i have seen in my life. It is so costly but facilities Zero. It is so far from the main road, If you want to enjoy tracking so you can go in this Hotel not in Manali because the way of this hotel is also very dangerous. If you want to go Mall Road from Hotel so they charge more that is not in sufficient for anyone. The rooms of this hotel is good but you can not imagine if a dangerous insect comes here, nothing can be said. The staff of this hotel is not co-operative. If you want anything from staff even water so you have to stay long. Very bad experience of my life.

Worst place to stay bcoz route is too far and very high from Mall Road.
Hotel Management is not cooperative.
Fly insects are hanging in bedroom like (kankhajoor).

A well decorated properties with awesome asthetic view but needs good accessible roads with proper trained team of management.

It is very worst hostel, poor management, hotal situated in manali remote area, I found spider and centipede in the room and management not cooprate with us.

One star is enough. No road from main road to hotel. Room are also not good. Paid facility from hotel to mall road.

The place is very beautiful but at a remote location. 4km away from Manali. And the route is also a kachha road for last 1 km. It becomes difficult to drive for a normal person but trained drivers can go there easily. No lighting on this path. Very scary route in the night.

The provide with the best service and also have a great variety of food in the buffet which is just delicious. Got a service from kunal there. But there's one problem with the road connecting to the hotel

Food quality & service is superb.
Staff is very courteous. Hospitality is amazing.

The following are the issues we faced during our stay at the resort in summer:

1. The resort is located at the remotest part of Manali. In fact it is the furthest resort from Manali mall road.
2. The condition of the approach road to the resort is terrible. If you are driving your own vehicle then it's a challenge even to reach the hotel by car.
3. It takes 45 mins to reach the hotel from Manali Mall road by car and costs Rs. 500 by auto.
4. Water in washroom was not available during the night.
5. There is no market or shop nearby for food, water, medicine etc.
6. They charge nearly Rs. 2000 more than the market price for any sightseeing in Manali or Rotang Pass visit.
7. The food prices in the hotel menu were already high. When we ordered food from the menu it was charged even more. For that the hotel explained the menu card was old and prices were not updated. Although they could not show us any menu card with updated prices on.

Food quality was good. Staff behavior very friendly nature. Good atmosphere. Over all is very good. I like it.

Need to improve on service at dinning. Taste of food gets 8/10. Approach to the hotel is very bad n risky specially for self driving. It's ok for localities as they are used to drive in terrain. Otherwise rooms, ambience is very good.

Place is quite good but the way to reach tehre is very danger. Its life threatening. Never go threre on in vehixle bigger than innova. We went there on tampo travellers but god save us.

Tour operator never discuss this and we were in really worst condition.

Best Western Manali.beautiful, neat and clean but the worst part is that the hotel.is I a very remote area. It is very difficult to reach there. If I am talking about food then food quality and taste is good but the variety is very less. Now the house keeping and room service.it is not upto the mark. After cleaning the room they use to keep the used utensils at the outside of the room and it kept there for the next day too. In our room there was a cobweb and after 2 days of their house keeping facility, I removed it by my own. We search this hotel and get it is 4star hotel but I wonder that it is not serving any facility like 4 star.at least they should maintain a garden or play area for the kids so that they can chill there. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
