Bhureshwar Mahadev Temple

This religious place is situated 24 km from kumarhatti, Solan at Nahan road, Calm and a beautiful place surrounded by natural forest and deodar trees. Highly recommended place for family, friends and children. The park is also available nearby for children. Lovely place. Highly recommended for weekend visits.

Location is perfect, view around the premises is really mesmerizing.
Shoes, socks are not allowed in the temple.
Taking photo/video is not allowed in the premises.
Management behaviour is really poor, temple committee people don't want public to visit the temple, one member of them told us this.

Nothing to eat here or nearby, please plan your trip carefully.

Amazing view for taking pictures near the parking area. Parking area is very very small, only 2-3 cars can be parked here with a few bikes. Turning the vehicle is difficult as well.

Very peaceful and serene less known place, Mahadev temple is ages old. This is at 6500 feet it is said that it is from here Mahadev and Mata Parvati saw war of Mahabharat

You can drive upto the temple or Trek it, Around 2 km from NH907 A, Solan Nahan Highway. Trek and Road are from two different places at NH. Trek is from Kawagdhar and Road is 4 Km ahead from Kawagdhar Towards Solan

*Bhurshing Mahadev temple is built on a cliff at an elevation of 1870 meters above sea level.
*It is believed that Lord Shiva and Parvati witnessed the Mahabharat from this place.
*You can reach the temple by doing a 2 km trek from Panwa which is around 8 KM from Sarahan on Shimla–Dehradun State Highway. It is also connected by a link road but avoid it because of its bad condition.
*The temple offers breathtaking view of Ghinni-Ghaad valley on the south side and churdhar peak range on the north side.

It was very peaceful place. When you visit that place u will feel like u you are in heaven. Such a calm place. But some difficulties may you occurred like bad roads & etc.

Spiritual seekers point to the fact that Bhureshwar Mahadev was the place from where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati watched the historic Mahabharata war.

There were only few devotees at the temple and the tingling bells made me feel as if I was in a spiritual land. The temple located on a rock cliff is indeed a worth visit and offers a glimpse of the surrounding valleys.

There is a rock cliff on the backside of the temple where entry is prohibited during most part of the year. Only during the local fair does the temple priest perform a dance on this rock invoking the holy Gods.

Mahadev has his own ways and he intends to keep an eye on us from high grounds. The divine essence of spiritualism is redefined at Bhureshwar Mahadev. One must come here and seek the divine blessings from the lord himself.

Bhureshwar Mahadev (Bhurshing Mahadev) Temple is a religious and tourist destination in Sirmour district, very calm and peaceful place situated on a peak nearer to Sarahan on the Nahan - Solan State highway.
Road to Temple started from Panwa, trek is not long almost 2 to 3 Km.
The peace and serenity of this divine place is soul soothing.
MYTH: - It is believed that lord Shiva watched Mahabharata War from here.

Bhureswar temple is very old temple with a well known story of a brother and his sister. And in their memory, every year, a fair is organized there. Here so many people come for seeking blessings of Bhureshwar maharaj and I say honestly, it is such a place with natural beauty which will gives peace of mind.

Can be called as pulpit rock of india. Gives an fabulous view of hills. Though uphill road which takes you this point is a mess, however you will get a feel of off-roading. You will need to travel about 15 kms from dakshai on Nahan Road.

Place is so beautiful and the view is serene.
You can either walk upto the temple or can go on your bikes.

The location shown on map of temple is not entirely correct so make sure you look for the temple board right before few kms as shown in the map.

Wonderful place for worship, nature walk, trekking. Snow laden peaks and deep cliffs, you can spend a whole day and feel refreshed.

In Kasuali you have only one best point that is Monky Point but if you want to experience best trakiing experience with awesome feeling than you must visit here. Its almost take 1- 1.5 hours to reach here from Kasuali. I bet you love the roads also.

GPS misguided us and routed us on long and country side roads. But once we reached the temple it was awesome. Great place and area for inner peace.

Serenity, specially in monsoons. You cam touch clouds, relax in the whiteness of the clouds, meditate and feel the green nature.

This temple is at a very beautiful location. Its on top of the mountain. You can take a short trek from the road which is around 2km long. Else you can also come here via ur personal car but road condition is not so good. Nature is always at its best here. You can enjoy some mesmerizing views around the temple.

It is the place where a big stone (shila) is placed behind the temple from wherr lord Shiv saw Mahabharata. Mesmerizing views from the temple. Peaceful place with awesome weather.

Camping out near the Temple was exhilarating. Although the Temple priest had warned us about wild animals, we still took a chance as we had weapons to protect us.

Whoever discovered this place, I have special regard for him as this place is so beautiful that it can't be expressed in words. The temple is located at the end of the cliff and below down is a deep valley. It's believed that Lord Shiva sat here and saw the Mahabharata.
