Had an amazing stay for 3 days in their hostel,
Rooms and dorms were clean and they have that positive and peaceful vibes,
Views are amazing specially of sunset,
They play volleyball batminton table tennis in the evening, Behaviour of Umesh bhaiya who manages the property is very kind and friendly,

Spent almost 10 days here, The location, the food, the hospitality, everything top notch. Prakhar’s an amazing host, 10/10 would come again.

I had a wonderful stay at Bir Nest. I went there without any end date to my stay and decided to move out in a few days if I didn’t find it suitable but I ended up staying there for over 2 weeks.
They have a number of rooms across segments as well as spacious dorms. They also provide great food and laundry services at nominal charges, and free Wi-Fi. They are located at walking distance from the Tibetan colony, market and landing site, as well as being close enough to a number of waterfalls and beautiful trek trails.
As a solo female traveler I found the place to be comfortable and extremely safe. The staff are very friendly and helpful, Umesh ji, Kapil and Nishant make great food and keep the service running smoothly. The didis too are very sweet, friendly and always helpful.
Prakhar and Siddhesh are warm and very approachable hosts. Prakhar especially helped me connect with other solo travelers. They are also very well connected in Bir making things pretty seamless, be it getting the best deal on paragliding or finding a cab in the rain, they provide you with all the contacts and recommendations.
The vibe at Bir nest is the best thing about it, whether you’re chilling alone, or connecting with the long term Bir travelers who love to hang out at this place in the evenings, the sense of community and happy, positive vibe are a constant. And not to be missed, the open mics are a fabulous display of talent and a great way to meet people.
The swing on the balcony became my favourite spot to view the sunset for which Bir is famous or to just stargaze at night.
I would highly recommend Bir Nest to all travelers looking to have a fabulous experience and great food on a budget.

Bir nest hostel offers modern and clean private and dormitory rooms, tasty food at the cafe and workstation. It's set a short walk from the market and paragliding landing strip. Saturday night there is an open mic session. The hostel is targeting the young self employed and welcomes relaxed others

Great location, good and clean rooms, 5 mins away from the tibet colony which we loved for the solitude. Umesh ji was great and definable try out their parathas for breakfast!

The hidden gem in Bir. While one would automatically opt for the zostel/ hostellers of the world, such are the places one find after luck.

Bir Nest is nested a lil far from the main market which makes it a ideal place to stay, because of the -

1. Direct sunset view from their balcony
2. Quiet around with vast wheat fields
3. Great cook, Umesh bhaiya, do try his cold coffee and adrak chai
4. Very cordial and friendly hosts
5. Great vibe wrt other guests, decor, etc.
6. And not to forget, BUDGET FRIENDLY too:)

A definite recommendation for the ones visiting Bir.

It one one the best backpacker hostel in the bir situated at very good location for the sunset. The property is well maintained and homely food served. The property has ood inverter backup so remote work friendly property with peace.

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. The property is situated away from the noisy market area and offers peace and serenity. The sunset views from the balcony are breathtaking.
The host Prakhar is very nice, polite and accommodating. He has a thorough knowledge of the area and can guide you in planning your trip, in and around Bir.
The food at the property is homely and amazing. The staff is nice.
Overall we had a great stay. And highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a chill and relaxing trip in the mountain.
Ohh also if you are at the Bir nest, don't forget to meet CeCe. A super friendly labrador.

Superb property, beautiful views, very homely and tasty food, friendly hosts and everything else that you expect for a long vacation/workaction. A bit away from the main market, the hostel provides unique get-away experience of local culture, farms, mountain and breathtaking sunset views. Will definitely come back again:)

The view from Bir Nest Hostel, each room, is worth your stay… Our host, Prakhar, was very accommodating throughout our stay. He truly knows how to run a hostel smoothly. The staff here is the sweetest and very helpful… you will only see happy faces around in this property… Food is nice and the chai they make and also nimbu paani is out of this world… I stayed here for a week and for sure I can say I am coming back…

Had the most amazing stay with great vibes, lovely people, spectacular views, and an evening that i'll never forget. Must visit them on saturday evenings for their famous 'Open Mic'. I know for sure, i'm always coming back here.don't forget to try their Fried Chicken - 'KFC' style, but better! And the most simplest of recipe like their egg curry will blow your mind.stayed there for 8 days, had a killer time z/

The Hostel is in a beautiful location. If you are looking for some serenity then this is the place for you. I loved my stay. I met Prakhar who is one of the owners there. He was very courteous and helpful. Also, we joined them on Saturday and there was an open mic. I really enjoyed the open mic.

Awesome place to stay in Bir. Very laid back vibe, and good food and chai as well. Had a good time hanging out with everyone staying here. Miss you guys, I hope to be back in Bir someday soon!

Amazing place to just stay in and relax. Enjoy the peace and nature in its full glory. The location is pretty nice, easily accessible by main road. The hostel also arrange for an open mic every Saturday which people would really enjoy. Food is good and quite affordable as well.

This place feels like a home with breath taking views in bir. The food is amazing and the host will treat you like a friend! MUST GOOO!

The place has the best view to offer in Bir. The stays are comfortable and the lovely food adds on the experience. Met some amazing fellow travelers here. If you're planning for workation or just a vacation, I'd highly recommend this place.

Poor communication the staff doesnt know how to talk to guests on call and can't guide and gave correct information. It was not a family booking.

Best place for solo travelers, second home for the paraglider pilots ; home like stay, home like food and u will not feel at all that you are at any commercial place. Staff is very cordial and ambience is wonderful.

This place is in mid of farming fields and gives a clear view of the hills around. It is a place that is distant from mainstream hustle and bustle and yet full of life. The inmates are usually youngsters on a break from their hectic work schedules, some even working from home here. But you need to understand it's not a hotel but a hostel. They have a small kitchen which caters well for food. They have a cute dog CeCe. The room are minimalist but comfortable. Only suggestion is to either get ceiling fans installed or even small table fans would do. The place is chilly at night even in summers but fan might be required during daytime in peak summers. There is a nice backpackers cafe named Musafir next to it. It was a fun, away from chaos and calm getaway.

Had very awesome stay. Our host Gaurav was really great. Anyone traveling to Bir would recommend to book this place. Enjoy your meal with great view of fields & mountains around. Beds are really cosy and I'm sure you'll find good company in the nest itself.

A very nice hostel for back packers. Bed, breakfast and a beautiful balcony! Nippy morning yoga or an evening with the setting sun and descending gliders.

Visited this place last week with my Sri Lankan buddies. We had an amazing time here. The location is by far the best one. The people are extremely friendly and of course - if you are an animal lover - you will love this place. There is an attention seeking four legged beauty waiting for you there!

The property has all the factors, that one wants to have while staying in himachel. The spectacular view of a snow caped mountains, the spellbound lash green farms, the cozy, comfortable and the affordable stay and at last and not the least, the people out there, they were just awesome! Solo travellers, this is the destination waiting for u to host, whole heartedly.with those welcoming and the warm gestures, u guys, siddhesh, atul and afcourse gaurav, u people have made my stay, for bir best was the bir billing. ️️Regards

Words are not enough to define the stay here. We were here for 3 days and its not enough for this place.
Felt completely at home especially because of the welcoming hosts who guided us to the best places to eat, visit and activities to do in Bir.
Bir is a hidden gem in Himachal and Bir Nest added value to it. Amidst the beautiful mountain view and small homes of the localites, this is the most recommended place to make your stay memorable.
Its very near to the zip lining, Paragliding landing site (sunset is a must watch there).
